When I asked Dr Hefner to approve me for a handicap placard, he balked. I could not believe it. I am stumbling and limping to perform my daily chores , shopping and going to work and he had the gall to say that the reason was He did not want to perjure himself. I wasn't asking the good Dr to perjured himself. This is a permanent condition that will only get worse. Surgery is for those who can afford it, I should not be obligated or held hostage to getting the surgery. Really really unacceptable. The doctor reluctantly approved me for a temporary placard simply because I fell that day and I literally threaten him with a lawsuit . Unacceptable

Not only are their portals insecure, they also don't care about their patients at ALL - the physical therapy department is a full blown scam. I reported them to anthem BCBS - I still am in treatment because of their neglect and abuse - they refused to work with me , and kicked me out of their practice when I asked why my insurance was denied , they just left out the part where they scammed my insurance until they couldn't scam it any more - never have I ever met a more low end receptionist who yells at people at their Wilton location. Total disregard for any patient , and if they just want to scam then be honest - .. they left me with a torn l5-s1 annular tear to my lumbar disc region; a torn bicep, torn rotator cuff, aggravated nerve damage to my pelvic region, neck stiffness, posture weakness and mental aggravation. Now I'm aggravated by the fact their portal had a leak and my phone and emails won't stop with scams! What a joke

Dr. Caryn McAllister has become my families rock star. My children were having some issues that the…read moreschool brought to our attention. Their pediatrician also mentioned that they would need some extra work at home with specialists. I was referred to High Quality Home Therapy. I was skeptical at first because I live in Oxford and they are located in Stamford. That's quite a hike to travel and a bunch of traffic both ways! I was pleased to find out that I was able to have all the therapy and other services performed at my home. They ALL came to me. What a relief! My three children were provided with amazing services. I thought they would see all three for up to 45 minutes, but I was wrong. They saw each for a full 60-90 minutes each. My youngest has the most services as he struggled during COVID in school and needed special tests and a different course of therapy. He received two or three therapists/specialists twice per week. Everything was arranged by Dr. McAllister herself. I told her when the kids had time and she asked when would be convenient and I said please give me a schedule that works best with her staff. She said thank you and gave me a schedule right aways. She worked with my insurance, more like twisted their arm to get me the services my three children needed. I couldn't believe that my insurance initially told me they would not cover anything by three separate letters, however, after she worked behind the scene I received a letter for 20 approved sessions per therapist and specialist and all the additional testing my children required. When my kids required additional sessions she was able to get the insurance company to approve additional sessions, beyond what is in my plan...amazing. I've never seen such dedication and passion from any medical professional. My three boys are all doing better. My youngest has made huge improvements. All of this is because of Caryn McAllister. I think the best surprise was one of the therapists was a former student of mine. What a treat to see how one of my former students has succeeded and she kept telling me how much she loves her boss and company. It made me feel so good about working with High Quality Home Therapy. I only had one issue and it was with my insurance company where they refused to cover one service. I fought hard to challenge it. Dr. McAllister had my back and then she told me that they won't bill me for it again. I was very impressed. It did take a while for the bill to get taken care of. About a month later I found out that Dr. McAllister was not able to get the bill approved and removed from my obligation. She took care of it. I don't know specifics but I didn't have to pay for that bill. Wow. I know that her patients also appreciate and actually care for her. I am also a Driver Rehabilitation Specialist and have met many patients of hers and they all say wonderful things about the service they receive and level of care and detail. I can't believe I didn't write this review sooner. If anybody in my family requires therapy in the future we certainly will use only Dr. Caryn McAllister.

Pain is disruptive at best. Incapacitating and even life altering at its worst. It can be scary. We…read moreall experience it. What form of pain and how much of it we have little control of. But we do have control of how we treat it. I made a great decision with Professional Physical Therapy (PPT). Gea is a strong, poised, and capable therapist. She is quite sensitive to the nuances of the varying needs of her patients and responds with plans of acton suited to each person and the unique state they're in. She's done this with me and a pinched nerve I have in my neck with much success. You could say that every physical therapist is what I'm describing, but in my experience with a few different establishments throughout the years, this simply is not the case. The staff that has worked with me at PPT -- Christian, Sarah, Marvin, Amar -- have made my pain less painful by keeping visits enjoyable and helping me stay focused. With Gea, it's her empathy that stands out. And her unwavering confidence in herself, her colleagues, and me. I'm grateful for this. I'm certain I'm getting treated the right way and positive my pain will subside. I truly believe it. THAT is what separates Professional Physical Therapy from the rest. Highly recommend.

They have a very new, well lit space with a large variety of machines and equipment for therapy, as well as a number of private rooms for sessions. My therapist was very nice and helpful, who helped me try to get some pain relief. Ultimately, PT wasn't what my foot needed, but that's not their fault. I'd highly recommend this place if you need Physical Therapy!
