They help with all the next appointments and what is needed with care, never rushed or rude. Dr. Hu - even though the appointment window is small, she is never rushed or pushy. But, she did some test and the diagnosis was what I thought it would be. At times, my mom didn't really understand her at all due to her accent, even I had to ask her to repeat what she said once or twice, but in the end I believe all of us understood the questions and answers amongst the 3 of us on the most part. The second visit was much better overall since it was a regular appointment during the day and she was prompt in her questions and answers for mom's care.

Really hard to communicate with…read more This is a sleep medicine practice that takes Medi-Cal, so right off the bat, we know there are going to be issues. But we will make accommodations, because Medi-Cal has been known to reimburse medical providers with peanuts and dead squirrels instead of money. The facilities and test equipment are a little dated (again, peanuts and dead squirrels), but the technician they have running the studies is absolutely delightful and will make the whole experience as smooth for you as possible. Other people have said Dr. Leung is abrasive or unpleasant to talk to, and so forth. Whatever. He's a neurologist. They are commonly thought of by *other doctors* as being abrasive and condescending, so honestly, that's a plus for me. The problem is communicating with this freaking place. You have to leave a voice mail, and *maybe* someone will get back to you... eventually. And when you're scheduled for an over-the-phone follow-up appointment with Dr. Leung, you had better clear your calendar and do nothing but sit by your phone for twelve hours a day for a few days on either side of your appointment. As someone else said, he calls when it suits *him,* and if you're focused on pointless trivialities like brushing your teeth or your job when he calls, that's just tough cookies for you, and you'll have to wait another day or week or however long he feels like making you wait in order to talk to him again. And he will call *any* time. He'll call on a Sunday afternoon. So be ready.

We unfortunately had to go through a very difficult lawsuit where my husband was almost murdered and of course our attorneys had to reach out to this doctor since he was treating him at the time. Dr. Leung called my husband on a SUNDAY and verbally assaulted him saying "I DONT DEAL WITH LAWYERS, WHY ARE THEY CONTACTING ME?!!" MIND YOU- we put in our intake form that we were in litigation, and any doctor that reacts like this always has something to hide and is unethical. It showed immediately. He should not be in medicine, he is a danger to those who he "treats." My jaw dropped as I heard this doctor who had been treating my husband the past year verbally and emotionally assault him. This review is long overdue…read more I was seen by Dr.Mielke from April 2020-July 2020 and then again from November 2020-April 2021. In total, I had approximately 9 visits either in-person or through a voice call. To her credit, Dr. Mielke did try her best to treat my ongoing mysterious symptoms; I have been unwell since late summer 2017. I do credit her for introducing me to a few things that were of help with chronic Lyme. She introduced me to the Relax Brand sauna, PlusCBD oil, and LDN. She also helped me understand that have a double mutated MAOA gene and cannot tolerate SSRIs.I thank her for these suggestions /prescriptions. However, by the last visit or two, I understood that she really did not know the root cause of my issue. She kept suggesting nutrition testing and practicing DNRS- neither of which helped to a large extent. In December 2020, she put me on a trial of herbs used to treat Lyme. In February or March, she put me on a full on herbal protocol. After 30 days, I did not feel markedly better. She pompously proclaimed, " Well then, it must not be Lyme. This protocol worked so well for so-and-so." I get the impression that she is not well-versed in treating Lyme. If she was, she would have ordered a CD57 test and used Vibrant Wellness labs to check a full spectrum of tick born illnesses. I'm sad that I spent this time and money not to feel any better. If you suspect you may have Lyme, be advised before selecting Dr.Mielke.

It is very clean and organized with many nice facilities. Today I visited the hospital cafeteria . It used to be very nice and quiet with indoor seatings . It looks like is is under some kind of construction so the tables and chairs inside are the temporary ones . Many large wooden tables and chairs are places outside next to the corridors between the buildings . The menu looks great . They have breakfast sandwiches, a new item called Hawaiin Loco Moco with rice and over easy egg and gravy for 8.25 .There are ready to go sandwiches, wraps , salads , etc in the frig . Bakery items and different types of Starbucks coffees . Most of them are self . A important place to be for hospital staffs and visitors .

The orthopedic surgeon advised to try epidural injections first with PT. I tried 3 epidural injections, but not much relief. I got PT with Dave for 6 months and that's what kept me going for short walks, before I finally decided to go for minimally invasive laminectomy and facetectomy surgery by Dr Saqib Hasan in Nov last year and with God's blessings and Dr Hasan's expertise my pain was completely gone and was walking around the same day. Dave provided excellent pre-op therapy and has guided my post-op recovery with with great care. He is patient, highly knowledgeable, and always ensures I am moving safely to protect my spine.
