Campers Inn RV of Knoxville

Campers Inn RV of Knoxville

(79 reviews)

My wife and I are first time RVers and have been researching for well over a year. I decided to…read moredrive to Lazy Days Knoxville and check out their inventory and operation. First of all their location on Exit 398 is very easy to get too. The sales lot is flat, so it's easy to walk around. The first thing I looked for is the maze to navigate to walk around and look at RVs. To my surprise, you don't have to weave through sales offices to access the RVs. You can walk straight from parking your vehicle and start looking. They have several Class A's and several Class C's. They have a large selection of 5th wheels and Campers. The service area seemed full, but to my surprise there was only one couple in the customer lounge. This leads me to believe there is a long wait time for repairs and folks don't stay around. I wasn't impressed with the accessories sales area. Having been to Tampa, this accessory sales area is very lean with product. Finally, I stayed on the lot and in the store for 45 minutes and never had one person acknowledge me, that seemed unusual.

Update on issue with Campers Inn…read more Update on my tremendous troubles with this company. 2 months later we finally got a refund from our own Bank on our credit card, for the fraudulent charges from Campers Inn that were never reimbursed despite the fact that Campers Inn multiple times IN Writing confirmed 'the check is on the way'. Anyway, that part is now finally solved. 2nd part is the refund for the dead batteries on purchase of a new +150K RV, as of today and with multiple confirmations in writing from Colin (Campers Inn Knoxville), Dusty (Regional), Chris (Georgia) and corporate, 'check is sent, it's taken care of' to 'let me check on it' NO CHECK has arrived today. So again, we have another 4 people straight up lying to your face, including corporate. I have no other choice than to post this to make people aware of this company, As of today, I will file with the Better Business Bureau and if this will not get me my money back for the dead batteries on a brand new RV, I will personally take them to small claim court, just to see the judge ruling on this. This is not about money, this is about (fill in your own thoughts). Buyer aware! PS. Don't reply with your wecare@email.com, if not even corporate cares, who else does?

Tennessee Auto Salvage & Recycling - This is a load I brought to them and they only wanted to pay 8 cents a pound and then took half because there was a deck on the trailer

On 3 separate occasions (including the day of our visit) we phoned Tennessee Auto Salvage and…read moreRecycling with make, model and part we were looking for. Each time, Sebastian informed us that the part was there. The ongoing verification was due to a time investment we were willing to make as we would be driving 3.5 hours from Atlanta. Upon arrival, we spoke with Jacob (in Spanish). Having never met Sebastian we asked if he (Jacob) was Sebastian. With the apathy of a bored middle schooler, Jacob eloquently responded, "no" . We were invited to look around the junk yard to locate our part and we did. It was not there. We reported back our findings and were met with a dead stare. We countered with uncomfortable silence and returned his stares at which time Jacob said "maybe it was in the yard down the road" to which we responded "nope, they sent us to you." We continued to ask for Sebastian and Jacob failed (as did our little buddy, Sebastian) to share that Sebastian had been sitting next to him through each exchange. Our entire time there added up to 1 hour. Ultimately we left without the part we were repeatedly told was there. The "business" and employees have the customer service skills of a doorknob. They do not care and they make it very VERY clear. Don't waste time or money on this place.
