Like the other complaints, I was charged $30 because my friend lost our ticket. We had ran a race downtown and parked her for the race. We had our bibs on and everything. We came back 1.5 h later and realized the ticket got lost. The guys charged us $30. What a bummer it is so high. And it says if you forget your ticket, we charge you $30 but because of this, I will never go back to this parking garage and they were not very nice about it. What a rotten ending to a good race. I think my opinion would have changed if the guy was at least sorry for us but kinda looked at us like sucks for you and you have to pay to get out. He didn't take tap to pay and we didn't have our normal wallets just ID to carry while doing our race. so thank god I have my credit card memorized. read more

My Bros and I parked here on a Saturday night because it was adjacent to the Dubs Sports Bar where we decided to watch the UFC fights. Upon entering the parking, the attendant was unable to articulate respectful and/or meaningful words. He yelled at us "one bike, one ticket" aggressively and without cause. It was absolutely uncalled for. Upon leaving the garage he continued his disrespect toward my Bros and I, snatching my credit card out of my hand and threatening to charge me $30 (the amount if you lose your ticket) even though I had just handed him my ticket. Completely disrespectful behavior. We'll never park here again. No wonder this 50 year old man works at a parking garage. read more

If the machine doesn't print out a ticket, just stay parked until it does. It didn't print one out for me and I parked to tell them. I was informed by the guard there that I would have to pay $30 for a lost ticket. I didn't lose the ticket, I never got one. He gave me a number to call to help, which I then called (775-313-4375), which proceeded to tell me they couldn't help me and they didn't have the authority to help me. The guard then expressed surprise that anyone even picked up, because the expectation is that no one can help you at all once you actually park. If you don't get a ticket, literally sit there until you get one, because, even though I walked down and told the attendant within a couple of minutes of getting there that I didn't get one, he refuse to help me at all. This parking gallery could not care less if something of theirs didn't work, as long as they get their money. I've made it a personal goal in life to walk as far as I need to in order to never park here again. There is literally free parking a few blocks down at the Silver Legacy or Circus Circus. Park there, walk an extra block, and never look back. No one here, the attendants or the "call center" has any interest in helping you personally, especially if it's their equipment that malfunctions. read more

I was charged for a lost ticket and was there for less than 2 hours. I did not have any money on me and I am on oxygen . They said I could not leave without paying the 30 $. I was told if they let everyone on oxygen slide they wouldn't make any money! I had to have my son send it to my chime card! Horrible people read more

This garage is under new ownership. I parked here last night and I have feedback that have warranted my 1star review: 1. There is a letter sized white piece of paper in the elevator (picture attached) that lists businesses that will validate parking for the garage now. It also states the receipts are insufficient as the businesses must put a validation sticker on your printed ticket. GRIPE: the businesses listed do not have these stickers. I visited two businesses on the list and neither of them had the new stickers to validate the parking. 2. My total parking fee was $12 (because I was unsuccessful in having either of the businesses I visited validate my parking with the elusive new sticker) I gave the cashier 3 $5 bills (=$15). I was given $2 in change...essentially being ripped off $1. Had validation been possible, I shouldn't have been charged anything. 3. The rate. This garage is now $3/hour which is more expensive than it used to be. Paying this rate is obnoxious as it's cheaper to pay the meter and park on the street. Lesson learned. Never again. read more

Clearly the parking attendant is not very smart or really poorly trained. We pulled into the parking facility used my finger to touch the screen and the top part of the parking ticket came out, so I pulled it and the ticket tore. So holding just the top part of the ticket, the gate went up and the line of cars were backed up out on the street and around the corner. So pull up and did a u-turn and went to the booth where the parking employee was working to tell him the ticket dispenser malfunction. When I got the booth I showed him the ticket and told him what happened, he told me it's considered a lost ticket and I have pay $30.00. Now remember I just pulled in less then two minutes earlier. I told him I need a ticket so my wife and I could make our dinner reservations at Smith and River. He started to yell at me about I should have let him the ticket dispenser malfunction and he could have got the ticket for me. I told I did, came right to the booth within minute of the malfunction. He demanded the fee for a Lost ticket or he would call the police. "I told him to call the police that I was not going to pay the $30.00 lost ticket fee, because I did not loose my ticket, the fact is I never received the ticket. So call Reno PD and we waited 30minutes and when Reno PD arrived, the booth attended spoke to Reno PD and the Police never spoke to us waiting in our vehicle parked in the exit lane by the booth blocking the exit. After less then five minutes of the police arriving parking employee pulled a ticket out of the gate and let us out. The parking garage has the worst employees, they will try to cheat you out of $30.00 in a heat beat! I know it's difficult to find parking downtown, I would stay away from these cheats. The parking attend is without a doubt has the worst customer service skill and is boarder-line village idiot! Held us up for over 30 minutes with no sorry, nothing. I really enjoyed using this garage when I lived it downtown Reno. My actual condo was two blocks away, but this was a cheaper parking option than my condo's garage and honestly still very convenient to other places I've lived between Arlington, 2nd, and Center. When I move back to Reno, I'll definitely be using this garage again at least when I go out--even if I don't live downtown--because it's safe, off street parking that's so close to restaurants, the river, and the movie theater. Plus, starting and ending the monthly services was easy. All you had to do was visit the garage, ask about monthly usage, and you got an email to reach out to. Customer service is important in any business, and this one seems to believe the only service they need to provide is a place to park your car. They couldn't be further from the truth. It has been a long while since I wrote a one star review, but the way I was treated truly warrants it. Every business has policies, but in most cases policies are guidelines, and employees or the managers who oversee them are able to make decisions based on circumstances to insure a great guest experience. Of course that assumes they care about the customers they serve, which in this case, it's evident that they don't. Listen, life happens and small pieces of paper indicating the time in and out of the garage get lost. It's bound to happen, and the policy is in place to keep people from abusing the system. When an honest customer comes to the gate, offers receipts and evidence of recent patronage, and basically does everything they can to prove they were here for 4-5 hours, and not 24 hours, it should be within the powers of the employee to make a call. If they can't make that call, a quick ring to the manager on duty should be able to solve it too. Well, almost 20 calls to the manager on duty, and not a single one was answered. 2 or 3 accidents nearly occurred due to cars backing out of the lane I was in to get into the other one where the attendant was letting people out. All of this could have been avoided with some solid customer service. I told the guy I was there from 530-10. I was willing to pay the full amount, offered to show all sorts of evidence of where I was, and he could do nothing, and his manager couldn't pick up the phone. If you're worried about abuse, the solution is simple. Record names, driver's licenses and license plate numbers for future reference. If it happens once, what's the harm in letting it slide and taking their word for it? Take note of who it was and let em know that next time it's on them. A little kindness goes a long way. I know I'll be calling Pro Park USA to attempt to resolve this, and avoiding this garage on all future visits to downtown. read more

It's a parking structure. What more can you say. The spaces are nice and not too close together. Traffic is both directions. In the winter time certain areas can be slick or icy with rain and cold weather. The movie theater and several area restaurants will validate your parking ticket for a couple of hours of free parking. But for gosh sakes DO NOT lose your ticket, it's a $30 fee for list ticket no matter how long or short or stay was. The elevator is on the Sierra Street side or there is a set of stairs on the southwest corner than drops you right at Silver Peak Brewery and Restaurant. Outside of a few casino parking structures further north, this is the closest one to the Riverwalk area. read more

I had a ticket validation from a coffee shop, but forgot to get the other validation at nearby Niko's, so my $5 fee was only covered for $3. Aaaaand, I forgot and didn't have any cash left on me that day, so inwardly I groaned about whipping out my credit card for such a small amount. He told me not to worry about it and that someone had left behind a movie ticket that would cover me. I appreciate the niceties of kind strangers in this world. Later on that day, I had a chance to pay it forward for another friend, and the circle was complete. Be nice to each other, people. read more

Their validation policy must some strange math I have never heard of....parked for 2 hours, was told we could get two validations, got two 1 hour validations from 2 different businesses, but then went to exit and was told the two 1 hour validations cancelled each other out. Jerry the new owner is not a decent guy! My husband had the parking ticket and he couldn't find it. The tickets are thin paper now and not the standard cardboard type. We looked every where for it even the staff at the Axe Reno were looking in the garage everywhere. We were at Reno Axe for one hour and they told us to park in the garage and they would validate. They gave us the sticker, but we still got charged the lost ticket fee of $30. They wouldn't even take the 2 hour validation off. They gave us our receipt and said call Jerry he is the new owner. I called Jerry and he apologized, but nothing I can do. Yes, you can refund my husbands ATM card if you had a heart. We are not taking advantage of you what so ever, but obviously good people never get a break. The bad people make it worst for everyone that had an honest mishap and ruin our entire night because of it. My husband doesn't care about thee money frankly neither do I, it's about the humankindness during an unfortunate event. I will never ever park in Jerry's garage again. Although this parking garage is centrally located to many downtown businesses, it really wasn't thought out too well when it was being constructed. The lanes aren't wide enough for the two way traffic and it just seems like an accident waiting to happen to me! Although the garage itself is well maintained and clean with good security and staff coverage, the layout makes it really hard to park and to leave after you're done. The parking rates are fair though and many of the businesses in the vicinity will validate your parking. I was also impressed by the management of the garage, as the other day the machine for tickets was broken, but they had staffed someone to sit and manually hand out tickets so that the garage could still be used and the traffic wouldn't be slowed down. read more

I have parked in this garage SO MANY times to go to the riverside theaters. Tonight I came out of the theater with my movie ticket and drove out of the garage expecting my parking to be validated like it has been every other time. The lady at the booth was extremely rude. I gave her my movie ticket and proceeded to try and tell me I could have never come out of the garage before without my parking ticket. The people at the theater told me their validating machine wasn't working and all I would need is my movie ticket. The lady at the booth treated me like I was trying to scam her or something. She made me pay $30 because I "lost" my parking ticket instead of just seeing my movie ticket and letting me out. Our interaction was short but it sure showed me a lot about her character. I have only had my movie ticket PLENTY of times leaving this garage and never once had someone at that booth had anything to say except "have a nice day". Maybe communicate your policies with your entire staff, also maybe just be kind. It's a Monday night and we showed you we were at the movie. It's a scam. read more

Don't bother buying a monthly parking pass UNLESS you are the only one in your family who will be using it. When you sign up, you are asked for any vehicle and driver who will be on the authorized user for the pass BUT if the garage staff find out more than one person and/or vehicle is SHARING the pass, the user will be charged the full day amount. Also be very careful when paying cash - ASK for a receipt and count your change BEFORE leaving. When you park, don't lose that receipt. Look at the posted list of approved vendors who allegedly provide validations and obtain multiple stickers. One sticker=2 hours. You WILL burn time while waiting in line to check out. read more

Parked here Valentine's Day, got my car broken into, we went down to the place and they were able to write out every detail as well as find the ones who broke into my car on the camera footage, their supervisor was extremely friendly and helped me out a ton... Nice parking garage; it feels secure. It's clean and bright. It can get busy later in the evening, so SLOW DOWN as you round each corner. Many local downtown restaurants and bars will validate parking and reduce your expense. The parking attendants are always friendly and pleasant. read more

I made the mistake of parking here to watch a movie. I should have parked somewhere nearby and walked over. It took probably 15 minutes of 2mph creeping slowly up floor by floor to finally find a parking spot on the 4th floor. And when it was time to leave, what a mess! It took more than 45 minutes of sitting in the car to get out of the building! This garage may function reasonably when it's not aligned with showtimes, but avoid it at all costs during peak movie hours. Either park near the bottom, or park somewhere else and walk over. With all that said, parking was free with movie ticket, so I'm bumping up the rating to two stars. read more

I was absolutely appalled by the customer service I experienced last night. I really had to use the bathroom and saw a bathroom so I went in. Five seconds later the security guard started banging on the door yelling at me to get out. He said "Can you read? It says private. I could have you arrested right now for trespassing!" I didn't even use his bathroom, I walked in for five seconds and he was threatening to have me arrested. It was an honest mistake and the outcome would have been the same if he had just nicely asked me to leave without making any threats to have me arrested. It was ridiculous. I park here everyday for a year because I go to the gym. The gym validates for 2 hours, however, I often have a hard time and get charged for parking even though I'm validated for two hours because they claim I'm a literally one minute late(even though I'm not) I could be waiting in line to leave and get charged for having to wait. This place only wants your money and all of the attendants except mac have been complete assholes. There is no manager to speak to and nobody cares about you or your car so long as they get to rob you for being "a minute" late. read more

Safe & clean parking but make sure you get several stamps on your ticket! Each stamp covers 2 hours and they won't let you use receipts anymore :(. Very close to all the great bars downtown too. read more

I'm not used to getting poor service in Reno, but for the second time in my 13 years living here, I had the worst customer experience. This place is horrible. Leaving the lot is ridiculous, as you are stuck in a long, slow-moving line of cars. I took a good 15 minutes smelling exhaust fumes before I finally got to the attendant on Saturday, October 20th at 5:17 pm. She wasn't nice. I said hello, she barely spoke. Just mumbled and grabbed my ticket. It turned out, I'd accidentally had the DeLuxe cafe validate a movie theatre ticket from another visit elsewhere! Ugh! The attendant was rude! She very rudely declared, "this isn't my ticket." She said it twice. I realized my error and went digging to find the actual original ticket which I had immediately placed in my purse upon parking less than 2 hours before. Alas I couldn't find it because her second rude declaration made me feel rushed and stupid, and the line of cars waiting had me feeling even worse. She declared I owed $30 max amount for lost ticket. Instead of continuing to search, I gave her my credit card. Parking cost me 3 times more than the lunch I'd just enjoyed. This woman had zero personality, was rude, and this place is atrocious for not having both parking booths occupied so that customers aren't stuck for unreasonable amounts of time exiting. She gave me back my card after swiping it, opened the gate, and I drove through it, only then did I realize she had NOT given me a receipt! 2 miles later, I found the original ticket. I know these fools can look at their garage camera and see that I entered the lot at 3:30 and charge me for that true amount of time. I shall get justice. read more
