I made it very clear I only needed the service for one hour, and there was no mention of a 2-hour minimum at any point during our conversation or booking. After the move was complete which did not exceed one hour the movers suddenly demanded $250, claiming there was a "2-hour minimum policy." This was never disclosed beforehand. When I tried to clarify, they became argumentative and unprofessional, insisting it was their "policy," as if that excused the fact that it was never communicated to me. This kind of bait-and-switch pricing is unacceptable. If there's a minimum charge, it must be disclosed before the service is provided not after the job is done. I feel misled and taken advantage of. Transparency and honesty are the bare minimum in customer service, especially in an industry built on trust and time.

I paid a simple hourly fee for the labor, and a flat fee for the junk removal of the old units. No hidden costs. Richard was the team lead, and his experience was clear; they arrived on time and they handled the job with speed and assuredness. They quickly took out the old units with a lot of care to my property, then they fully installed the new ones for me. They made all the connections and tested it, so I didn't have to worry. I can't say enough about how well they treated me - they were all true pros every step of the way. AHM handled each detail, and I ALWAYS knew what to expect and what it would cost in time and money.
