Jensen Beach Park, also called Sea Turtle Beach has a huge free parking lot. You can grab a snack, breakfast, or lunch or rent a beach chair and umbrella at the Sand Dune Café which is open 7 days a week. You can also bring your own food to enjoy at several picnic pavilions. The park also has a sand volleyball court and bathrooms and showers. There is a oversized Adirondack chair for a fun photo op near the café. The park is also home to the Martin County Ocean Recue Headquarters. The soft sand and clean water along with all of the amenities makes this a great spot for enjoying a peaceful beach day. I loved seeing all of the sea turtle nests on the beach. I hope the little guys make it to their ocean home.

So next time I'll have to go when it's the right time. Parking filled up fast. Got there Friday around 11 and by 1 it was packed. Brought a wagon and loaded the kids and stuff in it. There is a little hill so be prepared to use your muscles. They have a shower and bathrooms. Nice shells, too. Wish I had brought a bag to collect them in. There's also the reef and people snorkel so you can do that as well. I didn't but might another time. Make sure to bring an umbrella. Water was very nice and clear, wish I had brought a board for my kiddos to float on. Definitely check it out

We opened a tab for our family--everything is ordered and/or entered via phone number/app. Staff were amicable and efficient. We stuck with mostly appetizers--mozzarella sticks, bacon cheeseburgers, potato chip nachos (generously seasoned), and Marguerite pizza. Food arrived fresh, hot, and promptly. I believe this location is cashless as tabs were opened using phone number & placing credit card on file. Be advised there are 2 courses (black & red)--one is easy the other hard. Greens are well maintained, bench seating throughout course and shaded areas. There is also a shaded playground to entertain the littles and an ice cream parlor for sweet treats. Get there early to beat the heat and crowds as it got busier as the day progressed.
