No issues with Stanley Steemer. Not sure what happened a year ago, but whatever they did to change worked. I used the website to schedule my couch cleaning. Website is pretty simple and straight forward. The Stanley Steemer consultant called within a few hours to grab some basic information and to see if i have any questions. They are able to work around my work schedule which is always a good thing. The technician was friendly and professional. He asked me some basic question about the incident and went right to work. I was quoted for 140 for a cleaning, disinfect, and protect. I picked the wrong material on the website so it was a little more than quoted, but not too far off that it broke my wallet. Stanley Steemer is well below par when it comes to customer service, the services they provide and trying to get a call back from a manager. Below is complaint sent to the Better Business Bureau on December 16, 2024. Stanley Steemer ignored the BBB's attempts to contact them. However I learned they are NOT accredited with the BBB. That is who they are. On December 4, 2024, they came out to my house, were there a bit over 2 hours and charged me $2,200.00. To say the job was not well done is a gross understatement. My house is 1,200 sq ft. I have seven air vents. The air vents were to be cleaned and that was not done. I had to get them to come back as they were leaving to do the primary vent. All they did was hose it down. Clean to me means you take down the vents and wash and dry them before putting them back on. This was not done, not even close. I still have the lingering scent of the dog previous owner had. I was charged $899 for this cleaning service. Which leads me to say one size does not fit all. $899 plus tax for nothing. It's time Stanley Steemer to reevaluate/change pricing. Base pricing on the square footage of the dwelling. They also did the floors and grout. Because I was getting my furniture delivered on Dec 5 I got down on my hands and knees to tape down brown construction paper to protect the floor. While doing this I found dust and other left over vent debris on the floors. Being a conscientious consumer, I tipped the guys who came out. This was before I found what I just described. I expect a 75% refund from that service. Furthermore, since Dec 5 I have been trying to get a callback from the manager. I have called 5 times to date. I do not even know his/her name and contact info, so I have to keep calling. I do not even know if my message was received. I paid over $2,200.00 for this service. The actual cleaning was not done. I will not ever recommend using Stanley Steemer to anyone. Also, I tried attaching a picture but was unable to do so. And of course there is no email address to contact anyone at corporate. I recently hired Stanley Steemer for a cleaning service, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. We are listing our home for sale and wanted a deep clean on the floors to eliminate this cleaning for myself and to make the house look the best. The cleaning itself was rushed and lacked attention to detail. Despite paying for a deep clean, I noticed several areas that were still dirty, and some stains that should have been treated were barely touched. If the machine didn't reach the area, it was not cleaned. As I spent my Sunday cleaning floors and scrubbing corners, in which I paid good money to have cleaned, I felt the need to write a review so others that are thinking they would make life a little easier will not make the same mistake as I did. I will not be using Stanley Steemer again and would not recommend them to anyone looking for thorough and reliable cleaning. read more

Stanley Steemer uses false advertising. The Stanley Steemer techs that came to my house which is in Gulfport, MS 39503 did not use any of the technique shown on the Stanley steamer website or TV ads. The technician stated that his van with vacuum could clean the duck's in My House. He was trained by Stanley Steemer and he knew the best techniques. Stanley Steemer website states don't wait for cleaner indoor air. Schedule your inspection today and start breathing cleaner air. The local franchise (Gulfport 39503) representing Stanley Steemer came into my house, removed all my vents on the lower level of my home and proceeded to use an air duct cleaning tool (whip) to dislodge any dirt and then with compressed air blew the contents through the vents and into my rooms. I walked into the room and there was dirt all over the floor, countertops. It was unbelievable, I can't express how frustrating this was to see this just blown out into my living area and not into the Stanley Steemer specialized vacuum system like what was seen on their Stanley Steemer website. states this matter will be sucked out through their vacuum hose into Stanley Steemer truck, not my living area.In my opinion they need a lot of training and the equipment is not what is showing on the website to clean ducks or on the TV ads that's why I say false advertising. When we questioned it, the rep or tech told us they're franchise they don't do like is explained on the website or the TV adds. very poor service. if the website would allow, I would add negative stars. read more

They ripped me off!!!! I asked for a air Duct cleaning and they came in turned on my air-conditioning and then blew the dirt into my home. They were rude and just blew me off when i complained. read more

My cat marked on our 8x10 living room rug and I figured I would try to get it cleaned instead of throwing it out. I brought in another 6x8 rug since I was getting the other one cleaned. The quote was just under $100 for both, including the extra charge for pet odor treatment. I went to pick them up a few days later and you couldn't tell they had been cleaned at all. I flipped over the corner and could see and smell where my cat had sprayed. The tech told me he just cleaned the top of the carpet and would flip them over and clean the underside. When I went back to pick them up the carpet was the exactly the same. Another tech told me he had cleaned the top again, but was never told to flip the rug over and clean both sides. So I accepted that the rug would need to be thrown out and told them I would only pay for the second rug. The cashier told me that their minimum charge was $79. So after three trips and $79, I got the surface of a 6x8 rug cleaned. Not worth the hassle. read more

Showed up early which annoyed me, because I was told they'd call 20 minutes prior to arriving. Rep. Tried to up sell me and talked me into paying more than I wanted to. Was told that carpet would be dry in a few hours, but despite windows, and doors open, and fans on, carpet was still wet the next day and now house smells musty....I will never use Stanley Steemer ever again, and would advise nobody else does either! read more

I will never use Stanley Steemer of Gulfport, MS again. The office person named Susan is extremely rude. The techs came to my house originally and did a good job except for creating one large stain. They put a recliner back on wet carpet and it created a six inch stain. I called and was quite nice about it and they said they would send the techs back out in a couple of days to try to fix it. The day of that appt, I called in the morning to ask them to come after 2 as that was the soonest I could get back to my house. After all, they were returning to fix their mistake. Susan said she would try, then she failed to hang up the phone as she began bad mouthing me to her office colleagues. She was mad that I was asking them to come after 2 and was ranting about "some people having so much nerve". I listened to her insult me for over a minute, then I hung up and called back and informed her that next time, she might want to hang up first before insulting her customers. Susan need not worry. I will never use them again. read more
