I called and s with the owner. He explained he was helping out Choice Ins. and would come to Maui on weekends but also had a friend on Maui who was qualified to repair and/or diagnose household appliances. He said Micheal Peden would be the person he sent. Michael arrived on Sunday April 21 and reported both appliances were beyond repair. Buddah had told me tha Michael didn't have tbe ability to process credit card payments so it would need to be cash. I said I needed to write a check and he said that would be okay. When I started to make the check out to Buddha HVAC Michael objected. I called Buddha and he said to make it out to Micheal as he had no way to pay him immediately for the service calll. So made the check out to Michael personally for $130.00. At this time I had been waiting for Choice to handle the problem since March 4th. I am 82 years old with chronic health issues and was having to take my laundry to the laundromat. I had been told as soon as Choice received Buddha's report I would be issued a credit at LOWE's to purchase replacement item. It is now two months later and Choice has not yet received the written report from Buddha so I am still having to get my laundry up and down the stairs to do it outside my home.
