I just bought a house and was living in it 7 days when I had the hard wood, tile and carpets through my house cleaned as well as all the air vents and dryer vents cleaned. The floors were ok, but when I cleaned a spill of water on the wood floor I was amazed at how dirty the towel was when I cleanup the water. The the day after the cleaning I found balls in the vents. How do you clean out the vents and not get all the toys and balls out. Also, I do not feel the dryer was even cleaned because it is still filled with lint which is a fire hazard. I feel I was sold a poor quality service and very disappointed in a company I have used many times before in my past. I feel they should refund me some of or all my money. read more

1. Service man called before arriving, arrived when expected. Reasonable job cleaning carpet, at agreed upon price. 2. Service man Mel does not know how to wear a mask. They must have inadequate training and supervision. See picture. In the era of COVID-19, it calls into question all company claims about "Safety precautions." 3. Truck is NOT a Stanley Steemer truck. See picture. I have no way of knowing if the equipment on the truck is up to date with what the Stanley steemer company is doing in 2020, or if this is 20 year old obsolete equipment which is not as effective. 4. Equipment does not resemble Stanley steemer equipment in pictures. Why does this matter? See #5. 5. The old carpet cleaning equipment, without the Stanley steemer company label, was LEAKING WATER OUT OF THE TOP, all over my carpet, making it more soggy than it needs to be. They need to REPAIR OR REPLACE DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT, so the result will be the best it can be. read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. They spent 15 minutes cleaning my carpet and handed me a bill for $130. They did such a bad job that we ended up renting a machine and doing it ourselves. The attached photo is what we got out of the carpet after Stanley steamer had cleaned it. I called the company and told them the problem and the manager was supposed to call me back. He did not!Do not waste your money with these people. Find somebody good if you can if not do it yourself you'll be happier and it will cost you much less money read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. I took the day off to have 2 sofa's and 2 chairs cleaned. My time window was 12-6 the man came at 3:00 . He came in stood about 12 feet away from sofas and said can't clean them . They will turn yellow. I have 2 very high quality custom made sofas . The fabric is a white Schumacher indoor / outdoor fabric . I had them cleaned in 2018 by a local guy who did a great job . Unfortunately he retired. The 2 chairs he barely looked at and I said my dog drooled on them and he said can't clean them either. I knew it was not worth arguing with someone with such a bad attitude . I set up an appointment online and got a quote. I was very specific about the job that I wanted done. Of course, when the guys came to do the job the actual price was very different from the quote. I pulled up the email with the quote on my phone and showed the guys who then called their boss, Joyce, because the price we were quoted today was indeed different from the online quote for the same services. The guys were confused. Paid 100 bucks more and should have gone with someone more local. The only positive is that the two guys who did the job were great. read more

The job was adequate for getting out dirt and dog hair. I paid extra for scotchguard and deodorizing, both a waste of money. In past I used Green janitor they did a far better job. Green Janitor used a carpet rake to fluff up the carpet and de mat it. My carpet is still fairly matted and is not easier to vacuum as they said it would be. read more

They deserve only one star because the work was good. The problem I have is that they stole items from my home. Even being in the room with the cleaners one of them still managed to steal things. What's the point in having a service in your home if your can't take your eyes off of them for one minute. It took them weeks to even acknowledge the fact that they did steal. And to compensate they sent $15 because they felt that be enough money. I am completely disgusted by this and would not recommend them to anyone. I obtained a quote online for work. I scheduled the work to be done on a Saturday between 2 and 5. At 4, I called to make sure that they were coming. I was told by the operator that I was next on the list At 4:30, I got a text message that my team, headed by John Ying, would be there at 5:40. At 6, they had not yet arrived and I called dispatch again. This time, I was told that the job was cancelled as they went to the door and rung the bell, but no one answered. No way that could happen as I was looking outside from 5:30 on and it is an apartment. They could not have gotten to the front door. So, I suspect that they didn't want to start a job so late on a Saturday and they just put that excuse into their system. I rescheduled for Monday at the same time and asked to have a manager call me. On Sunday, I went to Lowe's and rented a machine to do the same work as I had contracted with SS. I did it for $300 less. Still waiting for a call from management. Now, I will never use Stanley Steemer again. Better to use a local guy!! read more

They called them self the "cleaning professionals" synonymous "everything clean for your home and business"....the experts....!!!!! EXPERTS ON DESTRYING CARPETS and don't take resposability for it!! I called them to clean two area rugs, they quoted me $164.49 I thought was expensive but usually you get what you pay for. They did such of terrible job I ending putting one of the carpets on the garbage. The cleaning crew came and when they saw the carpet they said this was not a type of carpet they cleaned often and the edges were to black to clean, so he try to clean the edge and the white carpet turned black and more dark everytime they put more water on it. I ending putting the carpet on the garbage because was worse than before they try to clean. I paid the guys without a complain because they are just the cleaners. The same day I called and I explained how they destroyed the carpet to the point that I was not able to used. They took my info for a manager to called...3 days went by and I have to call them back because I never got a call. Then Joyce one of the managers says they will look in to it and she will called me, she never did, she gave me a number that was rerouted to Chris the other manager, I spoke with both, explained the situation TWICE to both and asked them to please work with me on the price because they really provided service to 1 carpet, they told the usual run around and they will call me back. Here we are more than two weeks later and never call they cashed my check for the full amount.They really sweep the issue under the carpert!! No call, no resolution, poor customer service, not professionals or experts like they called them self and unwilling to returned phone calls or provided good customer service. And for Joyce and Chris maybe they should be retrained on customer services skills that included how to returned a customer call. NEVER AGAING!! Better using my local guy that may not have a large company with a big name but his word and service will be better. read more
