During the time he was there, I didn't see much educational growth or development. I also found the facility to be lacking in cleanliness on multiple occasions, which was concerning for a childcare environment. The final straw came when my son came home and told me that one of his teachers had squeezed his hand hard enough to hurt him. The next day, I went to the daycare to report the incident. I was told they would review the camera footage and call me back to discuss what happened. I never received a call. I returned the following day for an update and was told they hadn't contacted me because they thought someone else in the office had. The lack of communication and urgency regarding a report involving a child's safety was extremely concerning. I was never given a clear explanation of what happened or even told which teacher was involved. As a parent, that experience was upsetting and left me with very little confidence in the daycare's ability to handle serious concerns appropriately. I also found some staff members to be unapproachable and unhelpful throughout our time there, and they often gave the impression that they did not enjoy being there. The only positive aspect was the convenience of the location in our neighborhood. Otherwise, based on my personal experience, I would encourage parents to carefully consider other childcare options if communication, cleanliness, accountability, and their child's well-being are priorities.

Likely the two go hand-in-hand: untidy+children. The building itself is pretty old as well. Aside from those factors, it is comparable to other YMCA locations as for amenities offered. The fitness center has fairly decent equipment and the. Cycling class recently revived new bikes. I just personally don't care for this particular one due to its infestation of unruly kids.

He has always been a very shy kid, and school experience was challenging for him. All the school staff were extremely attentive and helpful during his transition period. His first teacher, Ms Megan, always hugged him when he came and spoke in soft voice to make him feel comfortable. I was amazed how my son changed in the school. I couldn't believe my eyes when after a couple of months I saw him running from the car to go to school! It's also impressive to see all creative and development activities they do. My son learned all his letters and numbers, he learned shapes and colors even before going to the next age group. Most importantly, he learned to love making art and create! Ms Crystal and Ms K from his next age group are incredible, they both know each child very well and have individual approach to each of them. We had to leave the school after moving to another state, and now I have a very challenging task to find another place with such a warm and loving atmosphere and great teachers, like in Goddard School in Concord.

As a resident of the Moss Creek development, I recently signed up for access to the fitness center…read more I've been in the neighborhood for over 7 years and I've frequented the pool and clubhouse on numerous occasions. The pool is well above average when compared to other housing developments. Sometimes it's overcrowded, sometimes you're all alone. Get there early during peak season if you really want a good seat or an umbrella accompanied table. Slide, kid's pool with fountain, Olympic size lap pool....all good in my book. The clubhouse is just what you'd expect. Reserve it for a party or what have you. It's not much unlike any other community clubhouse. The fitness center was just introduced this year and residents must agree to a $100/year increase in their homeowners association dues in order to use the facility. Worth it if you will actually make use of it. It's convenient but there are limited hours of operation. They do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to use the facility and they threaten your membership if you allow any nonresidents or minors to accompany you in. Your resident card, via a magnetic chip, grants you access during their hours of operation. The facility is better that I had expected of a community fitness center. A little larger that expected with a few more machines and such. Four treadmills each with TV viewing capabilities. You can also hook your iPod into them. Several basic settings on the machines make them user friendly for newbies. The space is also equipped with weights, multifunctional weight bench, ellipticals, bicycles, etc. with a view of the large pool as you grunt through your workout. The facility also comes with access to the shared pool house restrooms. There is one shower available in the men's room if you choose to make use of it after your workout or swim. I can't speak for the ladies room. Most of the time I find myself working out alone or with just one or two others. Of course January sparks the season of resolutions and it's been a bit more crowded lately. All good and I wish everyone well in their new personal endeavors but I fully expect it to die down again soon. One thing that I think would improve the experience and perhaps encourage others to make more use of the space would be if residents were allowed to bring a guest. My sister often visits me from out of state for a week at a time and I don't see any reason why I shouldn't be able to let her join me for a gym-like workout when she's in town. Neighborhood folks may also be more inclined to workout and/or stick to their goals if they had a workout partner. What's wrong with Susie bringing her buddy from work for a little extra motivation? What if Johnny wants to bring his personal trainer to see what equipment he has to work with and to get a little advice? A limit of one guest per resident isn't unreasonable. Especially given the empty air outside of January, but that's just my opinion. We are granted guests when visiting the pool. How is the fitness center any different? Anyhow, if you live in the Moss Creek neighborhood, get off of your lazy bum and go get your workout on! You'll feel better about yourself, I promise!

This is truly a wonderful place with loving and caring providers and teachers. They even potty trained my preschooler!!!! They love these children like their own! They keep the facility super clean and the cook here is phenomenal! You are so special to this place. The food is always fresh and home cooked. They serve a delicious variety for your children! The entire staff is supportive and welcoming. I appreciate this place and trust my children here and you can trust them as well. They have cameras you can see your kids anytime of the day and they send you constant updates and pictures through out the day to keep you informed and engaged.
