I saw their listing of beer available on Untapped and had to check them out. Upon entering, it appears to be a small store with a few coolers and a couple of small isles. I was a little disappointed until a manager approached me and asked if I had been there before and said follow me. We entered the warehouse which had isles of beer. From national brands to a large selection of local beer. I was then told you can grab singles from almost anything. Prices were very reasonable compare to what I am used to. I ordered 3 months ago beer and wine coolers for a wedding June 1st 2024. called a week before to confirm my order. she said all the beer and coolers would be ready to go. I orders half cold and the other half not cold. went there Saturday morning to pick 12 cases of beer and 8 cases of wine coolers they said they had no idea what I was talking about. They said the lady I placed the order with never told them about it annd it was never ordered. I told them I had confirmed everything a week ago and she said it would ready to for the wedding. they gave me what I need from their stock and they were short some cases. so had to run around to find out who had what they didn't. Stan's is a huge warehouse of beer and they let you mix and match singles. What's not to love? Prices are good and they're always open when I need them to be. Good ole Stan's has never let me down. read more

Honestly come to Corvette's @ Carlisle for the past 3 years and this place is fantastic.

Horrible service. We paid for a keg of bud but they ended up not having any. It took forever to find someone who knew how to refund it. Get home and look at the receipt and it shows a refund for the bud but 2 charges for a case of beer and a 32 oz drink! So back over my husband goes and is told that it is correct. We were charged over $70 and given a refund per the receipt on refunded $57. So I called in and Now she claims there were 2 refunds and this was the second but that they had to 'add' the charges to make it the right amount. I said that we only got 1 receipt ... she said "ya I guess I should have given him both" ... ya think??? So now we have to wait the 7-10 for the refund to see if it's right but you know they got our money instantly. I asked her why she never explained that 2 refunds were given and she said "ya, I guess I should have explained that" They have definitely lost our business and we will share our story to others. I've been going to Stan's for almost 20 years. I has changed ownership a number of times in that period. The prices had been at least reasonable, the selection was somewhat limited but the service ranged from good to very good. It was my go to place for beer. The current owners took over a couple years ago and everything went downhill except the prices. They opened up the warehouse into a self-serve facility and you'd better be able to serve yourself as assistance is very hard to find and downright surly. The selection has no doubt grown. The customer service is gone. The prices keep going up. Why would I ever go back? read more

I love Stan's Beverage. The employees are very nice and personally ensure my unique beer request is always available. If not, they tell me as soon as I walk in the door. I don't understand the expensive comments from other folks, I've found their prices are exactly the same as the other two closest distributors. With that in mind, I only get one specific type of beer but from what I can tell on the major brands (Miller, Bud, Yuengling) are the same as other places. The warehouse in the back is HUGE. I haven't tried them, but their Alcohol Slushies seem to be a big hit. read more

My friends and I approached Stan's beverage with a curiosity of a child, just like the last time we visited Burma and found a new cotton, 35 dollars a sq yd. We walked into the location expecting a beer emporium, in reality it was about 30 ft by 30ft of cheap beer, if you wanted to know the price you had to scan the sky looking through about 30 cutouts no where near the beer it was advertising. We avoided our instincts to leave and decided on getting some shitty bud light, however we could see nothing but cans, alas the cooler jumped into our vision. Every other beer distributor I'd ever been to allowed me to venture in and make a selection, or at least know what they had to offer. I asked the cashier, a bandana laden haggard young man who appeared to be extremely uneducated and unprofessional in his art form of being a low paid cashier, if I could go into the freezer. He gave me a legal spiel about how i could not enter the freezer , so I requested he go into the tomb and bring me a case of bud light bottles , which i still didn't know how much would cost, no matter though since I'm loaded from my last trip to Burma where i discovered a new cotton 35 sq yd. He stepped from behind his stoop and with a pretentious glare made 5 steps to the cooler directly in front of us and grabbed a case of bud light, giving me a grin as if he had just discovered a new cotton in Burma 35 sq yd, but he didn't because I did. He requested my ID, which I delivered, and then threw it back at me, nearly slicing my hand which had plucked the cotton from Burma, 35 sQ YD. In closing, the building of Stans express strongly reminds me of my trip to North Korea or my girlfriends padded bra giving one the impression that it has much more to offer when in reality only an A cup. I will never return to Stans Beverage,from now on I will not stray from my beloved Beverage Express which has never failed with excellent customer service and DD cup selection of beer. Signed. Sadly, Stan's is just...Stan's. The selection is fine for the time being, and the folks who help you out the door are very nice, but I was constantly un-impressed with the man whom I should suppose is Stan. Every time I tried to run a transaction through his machine the way my company needed me to (full disclosure, I worked for a beer supplier) he read me the riot act about how I inconvenienced HIM. The entire staff always looked somewhat sad and embarrassed, and I couldn't help thinking that he was just a cranky old man. (Making a crap ton of money). So, I took my business elsewhere. read more

Was always my go-to spot until I had an experience with the RUDEST employee ever. Wouldn't let me use my husband's debit card, which I thought was weird because I've used it 100s of times there and everywhere else and no one ever has a problem, even the state liquor store. But when I apologized and said I'd be right back he was so rude. Never going back again. Everyone else who works there seems okay but this guy has been so rude one too many times. read more
