My husband comes here consistently every week, and I'm super satisfied with the results of his haircut AND the fact that it doesn't take forever if you make an appointment. I haven't seen many barbershops where you can make an appointment. Where my husband used to go it would take FOREVER for him to be seated in a chair. But this one, if he has an appointment at 11:30 he's home by 12:15. My husband has ALL of his friends and coworkers coming here too. It just makes sense. I like it also because there are TVs and free wifi for those waiting to be seen or waiting for their kids. One thing worth noting is that I think it's cash only but there's an ATM in the shop. read more

took my son here once on a whim. Joey did great. Took a card and was told to book future appointments on boosky. I've tried to book multiple appointments on there for them and they always get declined. This last time I didn't even know it got declined until the person showed up for their appointment and got told they didn't have one. So I logged into Boosky and there it was. It says the appointment was declined. No reason. No notification... My number was with the appointment info, as was my email. Super crappy. read more

This barbershop is exactly what I was looking for during my business trip to Pittsburgh. Being in town for more than three weeks, it was time for me to get my hair trimmed and shaped up. The gentleman who assisted me with my haircut was extremely nice. He asked me how I wanted my haircut and even gave recommendations on what he thought would look good. Additionally, he would ask questions to make sure he was giving me exactly what I wanted, which is not too common with barbers nowadays. When he finished everything, I was thoroughly impressed with the job that he did. He managed to clean up my hair sharply and get me on my way in under 40 minutes. The attention to detail was impressive and if I return to Pittsbugh, I will absolutely return to Stansbury's. read more

First visit to Stansbury's. What got me here was the fact you can call and get an appointment. No more waiting hours in line for a haircut. The shop is easy to get to. I used the on-street parking in front. The place looks great. Clean, comfortable and modern. 5 chairs. I liked the cut very much. They do offer to trim your neck with a straight edge. I didn't take any pictures of the shop but I will next time. Nice conversation with the barber, however he didn't introduce himself nor handout a card to get my return visit. I definitely plan to be a regular though. I just won't be able to ask for this barber by name. They had the usual televisions playing sport talk shows. They have a restroom. No mention or offer of beverages. Cut was $20. I don't mind paying the premium since I don't have to wait in line.
