Thank you for responding to my review. Please seriously look into that store. I came for an initial appointment and rescheduled due my own reasons. I came to the next appointment, wasn't expecting to be examined remotely, but ok. The "salesman" gentleman with braids, has an odd disposition as well. There isn't a "bond" between the employees. It's almost like you can feel the tension. The black manager asked the young man (while he was helping' me) to step in the back. Then he asked the young lady to come to the back. Judging by the looks on their faces when they returned to the sales floor, he must have given them both some type of warning...which should have been done after customers were gone, in my opinion. read more

Terrible customer service, had to argue with the salesperson because he insisted in offering me what he wanted not what I needed saying you will see better! At the end he gave me an exorbitant price for the lenses plus the additional cost of a frame and I left. There was not a single customer in that store when I walked in and I now realize looking at their ratings. At the rate they're going won't be surprised if they close that store in the near future!! What a disappointment! At the end of the day went to another eye place which had great service and I ended getting 2 pairs for much less than he was asking for 1. Go figure! False advertising. You cannot get the $79.99 special unless your prescription is really weak. You won't be told that until you pay for your glasses. The sample glasses that you try on are the actual pair that will be made into your glasses. This means you receive glasses that have been tried on by many others. DANGER !!!! Do Not enter this location on Northlake Boulevard the manager, Jessica ........ please do yourself a favor. Stay far away from this location when I was at the DMV I was told I need an eye exam. This was the closest place to the DMV. I picked once I got there. Jessica I told her what I need to get handled and she said could do it today get you in the back get you in the exam room. Everything changes can't get the lower class . You have to get the higher class lenses upsell city ‍ Kool I get it. Just annoying. But I need them to get the license now. Everything's going to take two weeks after you get the exam different story from when we started but OK. I went ahead and asked Jessica have you ever read your reviews about you? She just smiled i'm not a real big review person because I read the reviews before I came in, but I figured the experience couldn't be that bad OH BOY was I wrong and it was so funny. Definitely be my last time picking up from this. The employees sound like they cannot care less nor did they apologize for anything. Start off with McKala helping me order some contacts but she told me to hold out while she processed something that completely went off to go do something else without notifying me so I'm sitting on a hold for almost 10 minutes until I start complaining then someone else picks up the phone. And this guy name Jedd sounds like someone who needs take a nap and smokes too much weed. I told him exactly what I wanted and how much to charge my card for and then he still tried to charge my card double the amount when that's not what we were told and then when I brought that up to him, he didn't care obviously so yeah this is definitely my last time shopping here. I spoke to a real person. Said I needed a DOCTOR to sign a form for the DMV, even though I had an eye exam in July, three months ago. He said, Sure, and made the appointment. I went there....no doctor at all!! They said that they never ever have doctors at their stores. The employees follow a plan and forward information to an off site doctor who then evaluates the information that the untrained, hourly employees send him!! So ridiculous! I left. I went there with Eyeglass insurance thinking I would get good pricing. After my eye exam I selected two basic eyeglasses. Then the guy tells me $1,200!?!?! I said thats ridiculous so he then said "well how much did you expect to pay because thats the price with your insurance". I said I'm used to paying about $400 at Costco for two pairs. The rudeness of the African-American manager is unacceptable. He has braids, I would use his name however, he refused to share it. I also noticed the other staff name tags were on, however, he did not wear one. I came in on December 17, 2024 to purchase new frames and complete an examine for my grandson. Grandson did not find frames, so we ordered new lenses. I called the store on January 6, 2025 and was informed the lenses would arrive January 7th. I went on the 8th only to find out the lenses were not what we ordered (transition lenses). I requested a refund and was told the BRAND MGR. would be in January 10th. I asked was there not a mgr. in the store and the African American with the braids came out and said the BRAND MGR. is the only one that can give the refund and he would be in January 14th. I would recommend that the stories should be practiced for some closeness. Going back today and expecting a song and dance. SAD EXPERIENCE! read more

I had appt for exam. At no time do they tell you it is remote. The new tech couldn't get the exam machine on my face correctly. Everything was doubled. I repeatedly said that everything looked double. After 30 minutes the tech comes in and says we will have to reschedule with the doctor. I thought my appt was with the doctor. The associate accidentally scratched my glasses and the manager claimed just because I hadn't come in for some time that they would only charge me 1/2 price for new lenses. Claimed the associate couldn't have scratched them where they were scratched!?!! What a terrible manager who doesn't support their own employees nor care about their customers. Had my first visit. Very bad experience. 1. Advertising was misleading. Eye exam and free pair of glasses. Well, I k ew going in the frames would not be high end, but all I needed were readers. Only 5 frames the choose from and they looked old and all colors. 2. First eye exam. This wasa remote session with the doctor. Ended. They gave me a pair of contacts that were for close and far distance. Less distance to allow for better up close reading. Pair actually fit well. Wdid a trai. Came back to buy. Never recorded what they gave me. Tried. A new pair for distance only since they could not figure it out. Horrible. Virtually had extremley poor up close vision and blurry. 3. Second eye exam. I had to complain. Now, there was a doctor in the room. She stated that she does this once a week because of the issues with remote doctors. Still bad experience. Contacts prescribe with new vision. Still bad on distance and blurry up close once I put in. In the end, I will not reccommend. Wish they would give a refund. Had to go to a real optomitrist and my new contacts are awesome. No blurry upclose vision once I put in. Distance is great and actually reading is better. Advise pay a bit more for one Sorry stanton. But felt like the service was very poor and it cost me money to go somewhere else. read more

tried to check an order for non-prescription sunglasses went to the store in palm beach gardens to ask about the glasses, sales man quoted me $300.00, when i questioned this, he said ok $100.00. purches on 9/10/2021. tried to check when i would get them, sales person said 1 week, customer service said 2 weeks, these are non-prescription. on the phone for 15 + minutes then i get cut off. call back, another 20 minutes, no glasses until 9/24/2021. never go back.... read more

I experienced Excellent Customer Service. 3 employees assisted with finding the frames that I wanted. Jedd went above and beyond with his extreme search and eventually find exactly what I was looking for. I bought eyeglasses and sunglasses. The sunglasses seemed not quite right so I went back on 2 occasions where they checked the original prescription and the glasses for any issues. No issues found. Very disorganized and they kept myself and another man waiting a very long time. He ended up walking out. I'm still waiting.... Update: turns out the doctor wasn't even there yet. He was late and no one told me. I left too. So dissatisfied and how rude not to communicate or call me to reschedule. Glad I didn't take an earlier appointment I'd be there waiting hours for the the doctor to show up. Truly unacceptable Update #2 Just got home and realized they gave me the wrong sample contacts ... I need a +1.75 and they gave me a -1.75. This is irritating and now I have to go back AGAIN to resolve this. Worst place you could possibly go to get your eyes checked. First of all they use a outsourced eye technician from a different country that is virtually giving you a eye exam from someone where else. When I got my glasses the prescription wasn't even close to what my vision was. The glasses were so cheap they broke within a week and I paid over 200 dollars. The free eye exam is bull crap. I am an out of state resident that needed an eye exam to renew my license while here. Called the store to see if they did eye exams and they were so helpful and kind, set me up an appt for just a couple hours later. Arrived at store, everyone was helpful and kind there also. Appointment went fast and smoothly. The doctor Angela was lovely to deal with. All in all an excellent experience for an unexpected needed trip for an eye exam. read more

My boyfriend went here to get glasses & contacts & I was right there with him so I'm comfortable saying that WE had a terrible experience overall. While we were here waiting to get an exam, one of the employees was full on arguing w the manager like yelling. She was so upset she had to work a certain day that she didn't want to, she was about to quit her job & walk out. I just thought this was 100% unacceptable. I will say that from the time we walked in until we left, time went by pretty quickly. We were not waiting too long at all. My boyfriend has very bad eyes BUT for contacts & 2 pairs of glasses the total was literally $800.00. I thought this was extremely expensive. The contacts they ended up ordering for my boyfriend were the wrong ones. & by wrong I mean that he could not see out of them. So when I go to pick them up, they give the contacts to me & I get home & my boyfriend tries them on & tells me he can't see. So I call customer service (b/c you can't find an actual # to the store anywhere,) & they tell me he needs to have a follow up w the doctor. So I call Stanton optical to confirm my appt. & they are telling me they don't have a doctor right now & they don't know when they will have one. At this point I'm telling asking them for a refund or at least an exchange or SOMETHING. They tell me they won't let me do anything because it's an open box. I'm pissed because they never told us that once the box is opened we can't return / exchange. They also never gave him any to try on. So when we got them he couldn't see out of them & Stanton Optical just basically said "oh well." The amount of money & time I wasted here was ridiculous. The whole reason we went here was to save money & we ended up wasting it more than saving it. Please, please save your money & go somewhere more expensive. No one can make this awful experience up! Still no GLASSES and the manager called and said he was sending my glasses UPS and provided a tracking for me to write down. Tom and Evangaline on Northlake were great when I came in for my exam. They really used great team work to help me find the perfect frames (I tend to be indicesive)! I was greeted by the manager and assisted by the eye techs with courtesy and efficiency. STAY AWAY!!!!! I was in this store at  3331 Northlake Blvd #1, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33403,  to get new frames.  The store did not have any in stock that would fit my lenses so new frames were ordered.  I was told it would be two weeks.   I left my glasses, with the broken frames and progressive lenses, in their care as I was told the frames would be replaced when the new ones arrived.  When I didn't hear from the store,  I called.  Apparently, they were "picked up".  I DID NOT pick them up.  The manager attempted to "do me a favor" and give me new frames; however, my lenses would cost me over $200 to replace something THEY LOST. I cannot believe Stanton wants me to pay $200 for glasses that they lost or gave away to someone else.   It is absurd. Do not go to this store if you are expecting any sort of competency or customer service. read more

I will never return to this place. I went in for my exam and the eye dr treated me as a inconvenience and appeared mad because I did not know my contact prescription. The exam took a whole 5 min and did not seem like a thorough exam. No one even asked for my insurance prior to the exam. I did end up getting one pair of glasses and contacts which were ordered. The receipt promised they would be ready by 2/22 but I never got a call to advise they were in. I tried calling on 3/1, sat on hold for 15min waiting for the next customer service rep to help, no one ever helped but I couldn't hold any longer. Called the line to check my order and was told by computer that they were still being processed. Called the store on 3/2 and was told the phone system down and that is why I did not get a call. I understand computers can be down but if the glasses are in why can't a real person make the call. Tried to redeem coupon for contacts. It was a total scam. Supposed to include eye exam, 2 boxes of contacts for $99. When I tried to make appointment, no one heard of the coupon which came in the PBG newspaper. Finally they made appointment but when I got there, no one new what I was talking about until I showed them the coupon. The eye examined was rude, was irritable to answer any questions I had. After the exam he told me that i was not a candidate for those contacts in the ad, which was not specified in the add. They refused to give me the contact prescription. Do not fall for this, it is a scam. They went out of business in the past for fraud and reopened under this name. read more
