Worst staples ever!!! Printing department needs to get trained how to treat customers... was there over one hour , needed help with printing items and orders. They barely spoke and took an interest to help. A couple of customers left very disappointed... left and went to ocean staples store! What a difference! Best customer service!!! The young lady helped me all the way and I was done in 2O mins. She went above and beyond to help me get my prints perfect! Wish I took her name because she deserves a raise or promotion! Even though it's out of the way this is my new staples! Not one star for Schesbury staples. But had to give in order to post! read more

I was in the area to get stationery supplies. Yesterday I stopped in the local Staples, which is not that far from my home. I could not find any sales people so I sought the things that I wanted myself since I was not really in a rush. I found what I was looking for, but wasn't satisfied with the price. Case in point: 100 business sized security self-sealing envelopes went for $9.99 + tx. I looked online for the same thing and found it to be $8.52 tax included. What would you choose? This is not the only time I found Staples to be more expensive since they have been increasing their prices the last few years a lot. Always compare shop when you go to Staples. They used to be much cheaper in comparison, not so anymore. read more

I don't know her name, but the manager who was there this morning (super cute rainbow hair and nails) was honestly a godsent. Yesterday, due to a miscommunication with the staff at staples, i mistakenly purchased staples gift cards, thinking they functioned the same as visa gift cards. When I realized the mistake that was made, i was so nervous that i would not get my money back since staples gift cards are non refundable. The manager went out of her way to help me out and make sure that I got my money back. She went to the office in the back and spent time she could have used otherwise to make sure I would get my money. Honestly this manager should get a raise and be promoted because she demonstrated her skill and capability WITH compassion and grace, and there aren't many people like that. I was in this location to have 10 card stock done. The clerk in the front of the store said there is someone in the back to help you. When I got back to the rear of the store, the female clerk simply said, " oh I'm done printing for the day" as she was looking at her nails. Come back tomorrow she said. This was about 5:45 and the store was open til 9 I only needed 10 !! Without a doubt, extremely poor customer service. Will not step foot in this location again. R Anderson read more

They have what you need, but they are a tad expensive. Before you go, check online so you can price match the products that you want. And the staff is always never to be found. They are also not that knowledgeable on the products that they sell. They just give you THEIR best guess opinion by reading the same product description that you probably just read. read more

I use staples stores quite a lot for printing as I travel for work. This was 100% the worst staples in history. They would not print copies for me. They sent me to the self service kiosk (from hell). I needed 16 copies of a short PowerPoint and 50 minutes later the lady that I asked to print it for me the first time ended up printing it for me like I asked for in the beginning because the self serve machines all sucked so bad none of them were working and I ended up late for an appt. All in all it took just shy of an hour from the time I entered until exit. FedEx here I come! read more

I have been using this Staples store for years, spending thousands of dollars. However, in the past two years, I became quite disappointed with the turn-around service and copy personnel. If you have a deadline this is not the place for you unless you are willing to pay a rush fee or return the next day. Last time I went to store, there was not another customer in the copy section. The copy personnel were not busy with finishing orders - standing in the area chatting. I presented my items to be copied in color and was told that I would be charged a rush fee. I inquired why since there was not another customer (respectively of course). They said if I came back the next day it would be ready. Otherwise it would be considered a "rush." I left the store without my job copied. However, the next morning I went to Atlantic Printing on West Park Avenue - they were very receptive and now that is where I get all printing etc done. read more

So I had my business cards printed and the process was extremely easy from home but I prefer to do things in person to answer any of my million questions and one employee in particular was more than helpful for the entire process, Emeka! Went to 3 stores to buy the fire 7"; all three stores said they had it when I went online, but when you go to the store they don't have it. Ocean store waited 15 minutes for someone to come over and help and another 15 for someone to look it up and tell me they did not have it. They may get it on Friday. I called the Linden store they told me they had one on the phone when I got there the guy working behind the customer service desk said they did not have any. He come off as like why are you bother me. Staples use to be a good store with good pricing. Their customer service now sucks. Their people are just standing around, no wonder they are closing stores. read more

I finally received a $10 coupon (if you spend $30 or more) in the mail from my rewards points. But they wouldn't take it because in the fine print it says not vaiid on Cannon Ink! That's all I was buying. I won't ever shop there again! There are plenty of other places to buy office supplies. read more

Called ahead to ask if they could clone a hard drive. When asked to come in with my computer, I was greeted with a "we can't clone hard drives" and " we don't work on custom built computers". My custom built computer is literally the exact same premise as the computers they sell there, but that didn't stop them from immediately shooting it down. Decent place for office supplies, but poor and very misinformed tech support. read more

Even though the cashier was very friendly, nobody came to help when I tried to buy a Bluetooth speaker and played everyone of them for 15min. So I was disappointed when I couldn't spend more money there to get what I wanted. read more

Went to have a photo blown up to 8x10 on foam for a funeral. The computers didn't work so they spent 45 minutes trying to figure how to take the order. Then they finally did a manual ticket and took my phone number. Told me it would be ready at noon following day, well it wasn't. Manager did nothing make excuses for computer issues and said we didn't give them a time frame. No wonder people buy from Amazon, staples could have a great niche bringing you into copy center instead this store blames the customer for Thor problems. read more
