This place is a 'mixed bag' as far as trying to write a review. The store is large, wide, clear aisles and has a generous amount of parking out front. There is plenty of stock in many areas. Social media influencer in need of a light ring? They have those. Need office furniture? They have a pretty big selection. Files? Paper? Laundry detergent? Canned air? Basically most everything you could want to organize or run a business is here. Five stars for inventory. The other side of that coin is there is no one available to help. You have to wander around the store and hope you stumble upon what you are looking for. Yes, there are signs, but under what category do you shelf a 'ring light' for example? Is the water cooler under 'water' 'cooler' 'office equipment'? One person was working the print area. We didn't bother them, they were busy. The one person at the register was surly. We all have bad days, but this person was not an example of customer facing professionalism. Didn't speak unless absolutely necessary and that was just the spiel corporate tells them to say. We needed a large cart to move a box from the back of the store. He just pointed to the regular shopping carts. At check out there was no interaction other than 'do you want insurance'. So zero stars for customer service. Not a big deal. They have a nice selection and if we are looking for something they carry we'll stop in again. It just would have been nice to share a bit of friendly interaction with a fellow human being but, whatever. read more

I had created some posters for the business online and was just picking them up in store. They were done rather quickly and they looked really good, I did indeed love them and the quality of them was very good. But Luca (hope I spelled it right) was working the printing services area. I picked up my posters and I had asked him how much would he charge to laminate my uncle's obituary card, he quickly grabbed it and took care of it. I really appreciated how he handled it with care and told me don't worry about the cost that he would take care of it, this means so much to me as this is important to me and I didn't want it to be damaged. Luca was very sweet and left a lasting impression on me. I really hope Luca gets some praise for making my day and for being so kind, but also being a great employee. Making sure I loved the posters and showing them to me and also doing that favor for me with my uncle's obituary. Lucas customer service was on point and I appreciate it so much. You can't be customer facing and not provide customer service. This is the second time I've had issues with the print shop with the same person, green hair. Everyone else has been communicative and quick, but this person took 22 minutes and didn't once tell me what they were doing/that my print was done or could be taken to the front to check out. After asking for the cheapest option (no response to this) I'm out $30 and 22 minutes, late to my next appointment. read more

my dad and i went in here to look at computers. we were looking for a laptop. we bought a nice one. its a backup for my laptop. first computer i ever had was a del. it was a touch screen, it only lasted a year. my dad ordered it. when we needed help fixing it, my dad calls a lady in india, and she tells my dad he has to ship it to india. i just got a new computer. staples is the place to go if you need a computer. read more

This year my husband and I decided we wanted to do something different for our holiday cards. Although we have seen a lot of offers online, we felt that we wanted to talk with someone about what was offered at their business. A number of years ago, we had ordered through Staples #44, and were very pleased. It was very quiet at this huge store as we entered; however, when we visited the printing department, the two individuals working there were very involved with their printing projects. A wonderful employee, Stacia, stopped the project on which she was working and pleasantly greeted us, answered all of our questions, and gave us guidance as to how to manipulate the website and create our holiday card. Her patience and specifics were so helpful. Both Stacia and her colleague had a great deal of work, and they demonstrated that they are dedicated employees. I have been coming here over the course of several years. Mainly, I use them for two things: to buy TurboTax software; and to use their self-serve copiers, computers, printers and fax. Usually, I try to avoid buying office supplies here as they tend to be expensive, although they do have a much better selection than you would find at, say, Walmart. Actually, the self-serve computer/printer service can be expensive too, as it charges both for time spent on the computer, and per page printed. The last time I used it, I somehow printed color pages, even though I only wanted black and white printing. Still, since I don't own a printer, it's handy in a pinch. Employees have been generally helpful and polite here. They do have bathrooms, which is a plus. Recently, they moved their checkout, but the store's layout has remained fairly consistent over the years, making it relatively easy to find what you're looking for; and, if you need help, it's usually easy to find an employee on the merchandise floor. They are located in a very congested area of Bald Hill Road, so it can be a bit of a struggle to get there. read more

Went to make two copies of a small document and found 1 machine not working and a single customer using both of the other machines. After informing the staff that the machine wasn't working they made the copies for me behind the desk and charged me an "express guarantee" even though it was their fault that their machine wasn't working. read more

TK in Printing/Marketing is amazing. Very kind, and makes the process seamless and easy. I was printing a very large 36x24 poster for my grandma's' memorial. He made the process stress free and helped to keep costs as low as possible. I went back later in the day to have it mounted and laminated, and the kind woman working tonight gave me a 30% discount! The female cashier was also very sweet. That means in the 3 times i went there today, every single employee I encountered gave me great service. Every time I come into this Staples for a printing job (meaning 10-20 pages, max), there is one overworked person behind the counter and a wait time from 20-25 minutes to 2 hours. Why offer a printing service if you are consistently inadequately staffed and/ or equipped to handle any small amount of business that comes your way? The gentleman who came in after me was told it would be 4 hour wait, 2 hours if he paid a "rush fee." I was offered a self service option, and was told that it would take 5 minutes for the code I needed to be emailed to me. It took 15 minutes. I will no longer be using Staples for any print work. Such a frustrating experience, every time. read more

This is a divided review - so bear with me! First part 5 stars for the print & copy people. Good job on a tight deadline- thank you! Also, store is clean & generally the sales clerks are reasonably friendly. Second part 1 star for the mailing center they've implemented at Staples. Just a mess. The first time you use this, you have to go through a registration process thereby wasting a lot of time. Plus, they don't know some fairly basic stuff, like what an APO address is ("umm...is that a foreign city"?). At that point I gave up and left. Side note - I ship care packages to service men & women ( hence the APO address) quite often, so I've gotten to know some of the postal workers quite well. One of them told me the mail that comes to them from Staples to be sent out is always a mess. Whoever trained the Staples people did a pretty poor job. So, I guess a 3 star is fair, although my most recent experience was the mail center and I haven't been back since. read more

I was a little disappointed with my experience today. I had ordered a rather large amount of black and white prints. I was hoping it would be binded with clear plastic covers as that is what I selected online. That is not what I got. I got three hole punched prints but yet was charged for the binding and this as after I paid a rush fee. The associate tried to tell me I was wrong but there it was on my receipt, order slip, and email invoice. read more

We went to this Staples to take advantage of the Verizon Wireless promotion they were running. They were offering $250 gift cards with the purchase of a new phone, your previous bill with your previous carrier paid off by Verizon and 2 extra gigs of data per month. Sounds great, right? Well... What they fail to mention is you won't see any of these rebates, gift cards or paybacks until over 3 months later. Worst customer service ever. The lady at the printing center couldn't even greet me and when I asked if I could get something printed she just shook her head no and then after me asking why she just said it wouldn't be for a couple hours. I've never dealt with someone with such an attitude, she made me feel like I was such an inconvenience to her when I just need 4 sheets printed. Absolutely horrible service. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went in to get a cable for my monitor. As I had purchased from Staples a new docking station. The person helping me had no knowledge of any cables. He had me in the printer cable area. I asked if he could call the Chapel View store for assistance and he said they wouldn't have anything that he didn't have. I went to the Chapel View store excellent customer service they understood what I needed and I was able to get two cables for the two monitors to connect to my docking station. read more
