Good product, but they recently changed the ordering process and packaging. Now, they weigh the flower out in front of you, even when you placed an order online, so it takes much longer to pick up. I also believe this leads to less accurate orders because the budtenders are much more likely to make mistakes when they are busy talking to customers and weighing it out at the same time. I come here more often than driving to Denver for cheaper prices partly because the pickup process WAS superior to how they do it in Denver. Now, the process is worse than in Denver, as the store is ALWAYS busy, so it takes forever now, and it's expensive. I will be driving to Denver more often now! Also, I don't know why they changed the packaging, but the "ziplock" bags they use do not open and reseal. You have to cut them open and then put them in something else. This is the only recreational dispensary in the Colorado Springs area. Colorado Springs doesn't allow recreational dispensaries (they are the Protestant Vatican of the West!), so you have to go to Manitou Springs. This is my first time at a dispensary. I didn't know what to expect. The security there was pretty tough. I thought I was going into Fort Knox. You have to give them your ID. Then you wait in the waiting area, and they'll call your name. They let people in by groups. I guess they don't want too many people in at once. This place is CASH only. But they have an ATM at the waiting area if you need some cash. When they let you in, you get your ID back, and you're in this big room filled with weed. It was pretty cool. They had a chalk board with prices and the type. Each wall was sectioned off by types: edibles, vape oils, buds, etc. Speaking of buds, they had a section in the middle where you can examine their buds. They were in a container where you could smell and use a magnifying glass to examine. I thought the budtenders were nice and helpful. Once you pick the items you want, they'll mark it in their iPad thingy, you'll receive a number, then you'll go to the cashier with your number and pay. It seemed efficient for the number of people in there. This is a popular place for some reason. Maybe because it's the only recreational dispensary in the area. Therefore, expect some waiting. Parking might get hairy too. They don't have a big lot. read more

The staff is friendly, they walk you through the process and everything is well laid out and marked. We have been to a couple recreational places in Colorado Springs and were totally turned off by the "cattle herding" feeling. This is not the case at Emerald Fields. Usually my Go-to place. I've had very bad customer service the last two times I have visited. They only will serve online ordering in a timely manner. If you plan on in store ordering plan on waiting 10-15-30 minute. even if there is not a lot of shoppers. My last visit it was a completely empty store only one person in front of me ordering in store but because of the way they will let online oriders walk right up everytime until there is no online orders I waited 30 minutes and was late to work. This visit just yesterday same situation I was waiting and getting frustrated bc of this "system" it's not like 5-1 or any balance in customers. As again not a busy store but having to wait 15-20 minutes Bc of online preferance. This time I wanted to vent my frustrations to the employee and instead of trying to remedy the situation this person yelled at me threw my ID on the counter at me and told me "You can Leave" proceeded to yell at me to a coworker in front of a full room of people at this point. Then when I grabbed my ID to leave and find management support they prceeded to follow me and continue to yell at me in front of still a crowded room. Then yelled at her manager that I was the one screaming at them as this person is full freaking.out on me. The manager was great and tried to remedy the situation and I appreciate that. I was told this was "by design" to ultimately have poor service for in store ordering in favor of online. I work 104 hours usually every two weeks and don't have time always to place orders so all I see as a customer is 6-10 people walking straight in for service as I'm left waiting. Then this leads to ultimately getting yelled at. I think there is a lot of room for improvement in this area. If it's leading to your employees yelling at customers it's not a good business model. I won't be back unless I'm online ordering it's. Emerald Feilds has a good selection of products (flower, edibles, drinks, pre-rolled, disposable pens and so much more. The employees are all very friendly and helpful, they always remember me when I come in and greet me. My only dislike is that their prices are kind of high, but despite that I love coming here. Its definitely a dispensary worth checking out. Its location in Manitou Springs is also cool because you can check out the area which has some cool bars and vintage hotels etc. read more

With only two recreational shops in El Paso county these guys don't have to give a shot about customer service! It's sad, but true. Don't expect too much if you buy products that are damaged or don't function properly. My first time visiting Emerald Fields happened to be a day when their computers were down and there was a line out the door. This was late March/ early May. Their selection of products seemed pretty good and the prices were much higher than what I was used to, having worked in the cannabis industry and lived in Portland for many years. I was and still am recovering from a major reconstructive surgery of my right leg so was seeking some good products to support my pain management. I ended up spending around $350, but was told they had a customer loyalty program that gave me 25% off orders. This seemed awesome, so I signed up for it on the spot by filling out a piece of paper, given the computers were down. I was also purchasing an airoPro battery and two airoPro carts. I love these vape systems and had also had trouble with the carts multiple times in the past. I expressed this previous issue with these carts and was assured that if I had any problems I could bring them back and they would be replaced with working ones. This made me feel more secure with my purchase. So sure enough not only did one of the $60 carts begin to malfunction after minimal use, but my battery which was $45 had significant cosmetic damage (a rather large dent on the side that almost made it non functional). I am in a wheelchair with limited mobility and it was about a week until I could get a ride back to the store. When I returned to the store I was told that they were not taking any customer returns and I should contact the manufacturer. I was clear that you his was in direct contradiction to what I was told when purchasing my products. They apologized and took down my name and number saying that I would get a hefty discount for my next visit in exchange for my troubles. I appreciated the effort even though the right thing would have been to replace my broken cartridge on the spot and deal with the manufacturer who they have a direct relationship with. That same day I filled out an extensive form on zen desk to inform the manufacturer Evo Labs of my issues with both the battery and the cart. I waited a week with no response and tried calling the store again. There was no manger available to speak with me, but they took my name and number and assured me a manger would contact me. This was just another notch on the fuck stick of broken promises. No manager contacted me. The following week I resubmitted my issue to Evo Labs and also called the shop again. Same schtick, let me have your name and number and a manager will call you back. More bull shit to slap on the fuck stick of lies. No manager ever contacted me even after 3 more calls to the store. I also came to find out that my customer loyalty membership never got processed because it was on paper and they never got around to processing the paper applications from the day computers were down and now they were no longer accepting applications for the customer loyalty program, despite me having applied and having a paper hand written receipt of hat documented my application. And let's not forget the promise of a hefty discount next time I made a purchase at the store. Finally a little more than a month after my purchase and going on 6 or 7 interactions with the store attempting to resolve this issue, I finally got a manager named Stephanie on the phone. She was agreeable and yet slightly bitchy too. She informed me I had to come down to the store with my original receipt, the broken cart in its original packaging and then she could replace the cart, but the battery since it still worked couldn't be replaced or exchanged. After spending about half an hour at the store, waiting in the lobby on my crutches, and arguing multiple times with Stephanie about the customer loyalty program and the battery I was given a replacement cart, but denied access to the loyalty program and the promises of discounts for all my hassle and trouble were empty. Update: this company is even more incompetent and uncaring than I ever could have imagined. After they commented on my review asking me to email them, I once again invested my time in doing so and they didn't even have the courtesy to respond. And additionally I came to find out that when they refused to t place the defective vape cartridge they sold me and told me to contact the manufacturer, they have me the info of the distributor and after a month of negotiating emails with them through zen desk they told me they couldn't help me and to contact the manufacturer. Please do not give this company your business!!! Go to Maggie's Farm. They have better quality clean green certified flower and lower prices on pretty much everything! read more
