First time here and probably my last time here ...there is not one soul in here to tend to the machines...there is dust on the walls and no air...not to mention no baskets or carts to put your clothes in as you move from one machine to the other. This establishment is a disgrace to the residents of Bowie. I've lived in the hood and used laundromats in those areas and they make this place look like a third world establishment. Everything is coin operated, and the top of the machines where you pour the detergent is filthy ...it looks like someone abandoned the place and it's very depressing looking....unacceptable..one star is too many stars.. when you work hard for money you want to feel good where you spend your money..this is not that place!! read more

This dry cleaner was a very disappointing experience. I brought in a brand-new suit for cleaning and alterations, and when I picked it up, one button was missing and a few others were loose. I returned to explain the issue, but the staff member was rude and unhelpful, saying she would look for the missing button but refused to fix the loose ones. On top of that, the suit looked wrinkled, as if it hadn't been properly pressed. I definitely won't be coming back here and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

The sign in the window says "laundromat new machine." Which one? Most of the machines in the place are out-of-order. This place is awful. If it hadn't been ~6pm on a Sunday, and I hadn't been desperate to dry a large, heavy item, I would have immediately vacated the premises. I took a couple of pictures of 1 of the taped on "out of order" signs and the piled up trash. Oh, if by some unfortunate set of circumstances you do find yourself in this "laundromat," TAKE YOUR OWN CHANGE. There is no on-site change machine and no attendant. And the people 2 doors down at the CVS won't give you extra quarters either. read more

This laundromat is the biggest sh@thole I have ever had to endure to wash some large items. I have been here before and the establishment seems to get worse with time. I don't know how many years it has been since ownership attempted to clean up the trash and detergent strewn all around the place. Half of the washers don't work. You may not be able to determine this until you drop twelve quarters in to the machine. Good luck with getting them back. Avoid if you can, you will be better for it. read more

Every since I moved out the Fulton office I've been on the lookout for a decent dry cleaners. I hate to admit it but I'm just not into washing and ironing my shirts and they usually come out looking great from a professional cleaner. I tried out another one about a mile away but this one seems to be able to get my shirts our in better condition. Believe it or not, some of my shirts are starting to get a tad old and unless they're pressed right they tend to pucker around the collar and cuffs. I hate when that happens Star Dry Cleaners does a good job at the "going rate" (I've never found a decent dry cleaner that's "cheap"). It's close to home, too. So, I'm good with this one for the duration. read more

This is the nastiest laundromat I have ever visited on more than one occasion. The washing machines are always nasty on the outside and top, the place looks decrepit, the dryers take your change without adding minutes, and there appears to be no type of security. read more

At least it is in Bowie and has quite a few machines. However, the floors are filthy, seats broken, and it needs a facelift desperately.

It's a laundry mat in Bowie! However, it is directly next door to a dry cleaners and I believe they are owned and operated by the same people! I have never had and issues using their machines that I use periodically to wash my large comforters and blankets! Although I do not blame this location or the operators of this laundry facility, but I saw a man drop his basket to do his laundry and 4 roaches popped out of his basket! I thought I was seeing things till they tried to get back in the basket! Needless to say, beware of the people and things that may patronize this establishment! read more

I was a loyal customer for years but after having two garments damaged I no longer support this business. Accidents can happen but then to not refund the few dollars that I paid for the service underscored a lack of concern and cheap business practice to loose a valued customer. In one case a wool top was not dry cleaned and came back shrunk and lackluster. In another, the red dye bled into the white embroidery. Both items had been dry cleaned before. A shame the apology was not sincere. read more

Years ago I used the dry cleaning service and laundromat and they were good. About six months ago I stopped in to use the laundromat and found they had done no maintenance in years. Half the machines were out of order and there was no change machine. If the dry cleaner next door,there is an internal doorway between them, is open you can get change. The washing machines that did work were so filthy that I would not put my clothes in them and had to go elsewhere. There was actually debris in the bottoms of the washers! Here is the review...I lost some weight and brought in several pair of pants to get taken in...Got 2 back in 10 days. The 3rd pair I was told wasn't ready. Ok come back following week. Told again that they had difficulties come back next week. Ok..3 weeks later the employee gives me my pants. The inseam was never finished...half of the waist band was falling off. Gave it back to the manager. Come back following week (now 4 weeks later). The manager / owner gives them back and after closers inspection I noticed a horrible sew job (ie...several open gaps...and crooked sewing at best). I once again give it back and advise that I want it done correctly. Come back (approx. 5 weeks later from first dropping them off) get the pants and see they haven't done anything since the last conversation. So I again speak to the manager and he tells me I am unreasonable. Not sure why...because I want it done right? Really? We then get into a heated argument when he tells me he can't do any better. I could not believe my ears especially for the high price of the alteration. It was the worst experience I have had with any dry cleaners/ tailer ever. Never once apologized for the issue. I left in awe...could not to believe the poor quality of workmanship. After all that I go home and check other pants...guess what..the job they did on those were just as bad. Unreal...
