After this before moving onto 2025, I will go back through runner-ups of businesses letters where I chose an out of town location, and I wanted to pick a place that was local to DMV: Central MD, northern VA, or DC. For example, my next review will be the letter K from 2018 in Silver Spring as a runner-up to one I wrote in Wilmington, DE. This is an effort to support places local to my area. Experience: I rarely get dry cleaning these days as I mainly work from home, but every once in a blue moon I'll need. There's 2 dry cleaners near me in Maryland City, which I used before, which both had annoyed me, and their prices went way up, which further annoyed me. I decided I was willing to drive over to Laurel potentially (since I think there were only the 2 in Maryland City, and Laurel was the next closest area for dry cleaning), but I looked online for pricing & reviews of various places. I called to clarify pricing. I was a bit skeptical of Zips as I had heard some not good things about them when I lived in northern VA, so I never went. I called the Laurel Zips, and the woman was very nice answering my questions. The prices were much more reasonable. So, I was willing to take a gamble on them. I went, the same woman was friendly in person, and the clothes were ready at the promised time. I didn't get overcharged, had any issues, & the clothes came out well. I'll consider Zips Laurel to be my go to dry cleaner.

I don't know about you, but I don't have pictures of my socks and bras. And I don't make it a habit of taking pictures of the clothes in my hamper. When pressed, she said the company has photos they can use to find my items. If a representative bothers to respond to this review, don't believe anything they have to say about this being an anomaly. My clothes were delivered last night, yet when I texted customer service about my missing items, I got this form response: "Hi Crystal - I'm so sorry to hear about the issue with your order. To help us assess and resolve quickly, we'll need a bit more information. If your order was delivered in the last 14 days, please complete our simple claims form here: www.rinse.com/customers/claim. Please include: 1) Photos of the items 2) A link to where the item (or comparable) can be purchased online. I live near this laundromat and have been a customer for a long time. In this time I have seen…read morenumerous employees work here and have witnessed the deterioration of this business. Every week there are fewer and fewer machines available to use. The washers are always out of service due to lack of maintenance, dryers barely dry clothes no matter how many quarters you add. There is soap residue on nearly all machines from lack of cleaning on the staff's part. When one of my acquaintances complained about the lack of water in one of the washers, an employee responded by saying she shouldn't complain because the machines here have more water and work better than other laundromats in the area. Whether this is true or not, it shows poor mannerism and customer service as the response is rude and off putting. Employees are always gossiping about customers instead of cleaning up.
