I went for a pedicure, and the callous on my toe is still there on one foot , cut the cuitcle to short and caused it to bleed a bit. and they trimmed my toe nail too deep on the otherand now is infected less than 24 hrs later. I won't be going back. I excused the guy being rough as my feet are super sensitive, but my feet don't move like everyone else's, I chose one color and got a different color, which is minute compared to my toes being sore this morning. , and having to take the time to tend to infections I didnt have until going there. read more

There are new owners so I decided to give it a try again. I made an appointment for 9 am-they didn't even open until 9:15! There were 8 people waiting outside and only 2 workers. A third showed up at 9:20. I did get right in since I had an appointment. The first thing the guy asked me was why I didn't want gel nails on my toes! I have never been rushed through so fast!!! He barley worked on the bottom of my feet! I asked if he would do a little more since it had been a few weeks since my last pedi. He did. I totally felt like I was rushed!!!!! read more

I called to see if they take appointments because they do not have a website. I was told that they don't take appointments, so I asked if they had time for 1 mani and 1 pedi (2 people) he said yes. We were there within 10 minutes. It was full, but we waited. An hour passed and new people came in. It was obvious thos person was know by thr owners. i love this place, i go here everytime i get my nails done because i live down here, in my opinion it's the best place to get your nails done at the lake, the new location (which is just a couple 100 ft away) is beautiful, i just got my nails done again and they're literally perfect and i love them, no bumps no uneven shape, and straight lines, i recommend if your at the lake or live here 10/10 the people are kind and welcoming and the vibe is great read more

i will not go back. 1. 2 o 3 people after me, done before me! 2. Had an issue with one of my nails, the finger got smashed a month ago. Got it fixed and then yesterday, I was in tears, as he was pulling my natural nail off. He left, no apologies. 3. His wife takes over and tries to fix, but they charged me the same amount. This is the 4th time that I arrived before others and left last. wait time, after they put me in a chair is over an hour or more. Enjoy your new building, but I won't be back. Tried Star Nails again when I saw they were under new management. They new couple still don't sterilize their tools and actually rinse them in my foot water before using them on another customer. I wanted a regular polish pedi and was given a more expense gel polish when I wasn't listen too about my preference. And they double booked for my time slot. read more

I stopped there a month ago after a business trip and encountered the husband. He was okay. Just okay. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he might be having a bad day. Yesterday I went there because my regular person was booked up and I really needed a pedicure before I took another out of state business trip. The wife was in there this time. She was the ONLY person in there. No customers. She was watching tv. I asked if she had time for a pedicure. She yells, " In a minute!" And continues to watch tv. I ask for a public bathroom and she points towards the back of the store. The back is filthy. Old products that you can tell are dried up or expired. I used the restroom and notice that there is a sign over the sink that I can't wash my hands there. I walk out and look for the closest sink to wash in. I have to use the one in the front of the store that they use for manicures. I sit down in the pedicure chair and she starts working on my feet. She is yanking my leg one way and then the other to get a different angle on my foot. I noticed she picked up some tools that were sitting on her station cart. They were not in a paper pack to show they had been cleaned or sterilized. For al I know, she has used them for the last several customers without cleaning them. She barely took any time to massage my feet. She didn't offer any disposable flip flops and I walked out of the store barefoot. I am reporting this business to the authorities that handle inspections and health codes. Don't go here. read more

When we asked for 3 pedicures, the woman responded with, "30 minute." So I asked if we could come back and she told us, "no, we don't hold spots, first come first serve." Besides poor quality the owner just physically assulted me!! Do NOT go here! The police have done a report. The woman who works there is really nice but the man... Alawys in a bad mood. I was a loyal customer. I got my nails gel polished on Friday band by Saturday they were chipping. Due to them being closed on Sundays and closed for memorial day, I had to wait till Tuesday to go in a get my nails fixed. Low and behold ONE DAY later my nails are chipping again. HORRIBLE I brought siblings here for birthdag nails and they are SO SLOPPY and look AWFULthey were very unprofessional and watching tv/talking on their cellphones the entire time then charged us $5.00 more than what was advertised. Do NOT waste your time here- I had to clean up their nails when we got home! They had random pieces of dried acrylic mix on tips of their fingers, past the cuticles, etc. SO UPSET! read more

Just went to this place 4 days ago and already 4 nails have come off.. the guy yelled at me for moving and when I started to bleed told me it was my fault. Though my nails came out good at first it definitely wasn't worth it nor was this place clean. I will not be back and don't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I came here today with caution after reading other people's reviews. The man and woman who work here were Pleasant. I had a fill and a repair on a couple nails. A new set is $28 and my cost today was $30. I think I was overcharged and they did a average job. In a pinch I would come back again but not my first choice read more

Very bad experience here. A male did my pedi. He talked on the phone in his native language for the first 20 minutes of my pedi. He never utter a word to me but would shove my foot into the basin and yank it out. I had a red mark on my toe from a tight shoe that I had worn the day before. He ran the exfoliating square over it and my toe began to bleed. He shoved my foot again into the basin. He started to put the polish on my nails without a base coat and I had to stop him and ask for it. The overall finished product was not bad but if you are looking for a relaxing experience with good customer service you would be better off across the street at the beauty school. We are good tippers and my husband gave him a generous tip before I could speak to him, he would have gotten nothing from me ! Do NOT use this establishment. read more
