The best service and most kind women I've met since moving to North Carolina. Made me feel right at home they even opened up 15 minutes early seeing that I was out front waiting for them to open shop. Besides the perfect manicure pedicure, I couldn't ask for better customer service and overall cleanliness that's five star quality experience. I don't put color on but if I was to choose so I'd probably still be staring looking at a 25ft wall end to end with every possible polish different colors and shades you could ever pick from. If I could leave zero stars I would! Came in for a gel manicure and pedicure, left with a bloody finger that they fixed with super glue, left with peeling heels WORSE THAN WHAT I WALKED IN WITH and an $83 bill! Will not ever return! My gels are bubbly on my fingers, the manicure was rushed and my nails were filed horribly! BUYER BEWARE! I told them for a $40 dollar pedicure, I shouldn't have to leaving with peeling skin. Then they coat your legs with icy-hot for relaxation. My legs are still tingling from an hour ago! Don't! Just don't! read more

We had an appointment at TIN TIN nails and because they had a rush they asked us to come back in an hour. We had family coming in so we decided to go somewhere else. We went to a few places and they didn't acknowledge us. We went to Star Nails and they immediately took us in. They do an amazing job on our nails. The ONLY reason I give them 4 stars is because they only have 2 people that can do acrylic nails. So my mom and sister sat and waited, watching 2 people sit on their phones that should be properly trained to do nails. I will definitely come back to this salon. read more

The older, sorta slim/medium build asian guy is racist. I don't throw that word around a lot so trust me it's valid. Their walls are plentiful with beautiful colors. This joker tried to tell me that my only choices were the old looking colors in the front like I wasn't allowed to have anything else. I should have left then thinking maybe I was overthinking. His whole demeanor was nasty, he didn't even know me! I got a pedicure there since I was pushed for time. I haven't been back since. Be aware! read more

I would give a worse review but can't . I recently was in the hospital diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that causes blood clots. I asked her to ONLY paint my nails because because I had a stroke and my left leg is paralyzed with nerve damage. Very sensitive !! Well she starts with dirty tools and ended up switching to clean because my mom asked her to change them. She ripped out my ingrown toe nail which is not legal . And I've had an infection in my toe for going on 9 months now. Hard for me to heal due to the autoimmune disorder. When she did this she heard me say "ow that hurt!" And she said I already got it. My foot is swollen in the picture to nerve damage. I came in, in a wheelchair and the only reason I wanted a pedi is because I was hospitalized for about about a month and my feet were very dry. read more

Convenient hours, especially for a Sunday, but that's about the extent of the positive for me. Their pedicures start out at $55 and go up from there, which is a bit pricey in my opinion. And that's with using the regular( non gel) polish, which of course they try to upsell. The length of the pedicure process and the process itself was absolutely no different than what I receive with the $38 pedicure I pay for at a different nearby nail salon (which isn't open on Sundays). On the upside, the technician cut and rounded my toenails just as I requested, and the 2 employees I spoke with were pleasant; however, the Star Nails' Sunday hours and having my nails the shape and length I requested does not, at least for me, justify the $17 difference in price. Came here to get my eyebrows done. I've been growing them out for over three months and was excited To finally get them shaped. I showed them a picture of how I wanted them done beforehand....the woman who did them was rude and barely looked at the photo. I honestly can't believe how they turned out. I was nervous by all the bad reviews but my boyfriend and I got a couples pedicure here on Valentines day. It was really good. No other customers there and it seemed pricey at first $55 for pedicure $70 with gel. But they really took their time the 10 minute timer massage was great and we also got complimentary wine and beer. I would definitely come back here again. I definitely think they used something similar to icy hot at the end which is odd but my legs are extremely moisturized and tingling afterwards so it feels like im still relaxing (if that makes sense). read more

Worst nail salon experience I've ever had. Customer service was awful, they made no attempt at hiding they were rushed, my friend's gel nails were peeling in less than a week, my dip powder was chipped the next day!! I could go on and on about how neither of our toes and nails matched colors like we asked, etc. THEN had the nerve to ask my friend why she waiting to come in to fix it (less than a week and she did go earlier in the week and they told her they were too busy and to come back later). What a joke of a nail salon this is. Literally was arguing with her until my friend walked out. We will never ever give them our business again. And we will tell everyone we know to never go there. When I first started going here they had nice relaxing music and would offer you a drink. It felt like a spa, Unfortunately, now there is nothing relax about it. They are loud talking to each other and my nails look like crap. read more

This use to be a decent place to get yourself pampered. Now the staff is rude and nasty. If you ask them to correct their mistake they start getting rough with you. They charged full pedicure price just to paint my daughters toes. The owner curses at his customers in front of children. They have children working in the back. They cut my fingers up and my nails popped off because they were not glued on at the tip of my nails but half way down the bed. When I asked about getting them repaired I was told I should not have been "picking" at them. Do not waste your money at this joke of an establishment. read more

This nails salon staff is really rude always providing mediocre service. When you ask them to fix something they give you an attitude. Never communicating with the customers. They are always speaking in Vietnamese, which nothing is wrong with speaking your native tongue but they aren't communicating with their customers so it's hard to feel welcomed. Do not get the last extensions! I have never written a review, but I feel it is good to know. The glue is tough and thick and the lashes clearly look fake. The women who did them out way too much glue and I'm terrified that my natural lashes will come off as a result. My eyes are in terrible pain, it hurts to even blink. It is also the cheap kind of lashes that anyone can just get at the drugstore. It's a waste of money and definitely not worth it. read more
