I absolutely love my local Starbucks on S. College! Walking in here feels a bit like Cheers--where everybody knows your name. The staff is always incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the service is hands-down top-notch. I picked up a venti peppermint mocha and a double-smoked bacon, egg & cheese sandwich, and both were perfect! Amazing team with great leadership and wonderful atmosphere! Ordered two blonde roast pour overs inside on January 29th around 1:53 PM. I was told they would take 5 minutes. No problem. 12 minutes go by without any word. I go up to an employee with pale skin and shaggy, curly, hair covering their eyes. The employee immediately asked if I was waiting on the pour overs. I said yes, and they responded with "they take awhile, we're working on them" with an attitude and a tone that made it seem like I'm being an impatient customer even though I hadn't said a word other than "yes". Not a friendly tone that would assure a customer that they are coming, no apology for it taking longer than I was initially told. The two drinks took 19 minutes, and they tasted horrible. Incredibly bitter. Also, there was a thick layer of coffee grounds at the bottom, of which I got a mouthful. Clearly they don't train their employees at this location in anything other than pressing buttons and pumping syrup. read more

I'm not a Starbucks connoisseur like my coffee-crazed coworkers but had a dandy time sipping on a delicious hot beverage and socializing with my companions. We came at an off-peak time so there was no wait to place our orders, seats abounded in the clean space, and our drinks were ready in a timely fashion. My poison was a tall gingerbread latte ($4.45) which was perfect for the holiday season. Not too sweet or cloying. It was so delightful that I kinda wished I'd sprung for a larger size as I reached the bottom of the cup. The menu board didn't list each size and pricing, I noticed. The woman helping us was helpful and patient though suggested hot chocolate as a caffeine-free option, hmm. This particular Starbucks on South College is right in front of the Marriott TownePlace Suites. Parking spaces were readily available. read more

Usually if there is no line for the drive thru, you order and get your drink pretty quick. However if there is a line, it may take some time. And this is most cases. One time I was in line for 30 minutes. And it gets reeeaally bad when there's football games or events in town. To bypass all this, I use the app and order and just pick up! This is the quickest and easiest. IT WAS GREAT UNTIL TODAY. I got my usual order and picked it up. It was the same workers I see all the time, but they GOT MY ORDER WRONG today. I didn't try it until I got home, which is partly my fault for thinking they'd get the order correct... Lesson learned. Don't trust anybody and check your orders before you leave lol. read more

This is consistently one of the worst Starbucks I've been to. I usually skip other coffee shops and go to a Starbucks because they are usually quick. I use a reusable mug here and 3/5 times they forget about the mug I've handed them and serve me in a plastic cup or outright ignore my order all together while the mug sits on their countertops. I understand I frequent during busier times of day (7:30-8:30am) but it shouldn't take 15-30 minutes to prep a drink. I am basic, and I love Starbucks, but I dread ordering anything at this location. read more

This Starbucks is pleasantly located in Auburn Alabama near the school. I had the pumpkin cream cold brew and it was delightful. The wifi works very quickly and the staff is extremely friendly. They got my drink out in a very fast manner and it tasted very well. I will be coming back next time I visit again! read more

I live right around the corner from this Starbucks and I would literally rather drive to the Opelika Rd location 12-15 mins away to avoid this one. It seems so disorganized, the workers have NO sense of pride in the food and drinks they're making and any sense of urgency. I have had the same drink for over a year now and I know how its supposed to taste. at this location its either a hit or miss on whether it tastes the right way (usually a miss) I got my regular drink today because I was running late for work and couldn't drive to the Opelika rd Starbucks (big mistake) I was trapped in line for 15+ minutes and my drink tasted like milk, no coffee at all. read more

I order online as well and every time i arrive its always ready. They have never messed up any of my drink orders. They also keep the facility very clean. Worst Starbucks experience ever. Waited over 30 mins for 2 drinks. Somehow they got lost in the mix and were never made Until I made them aware that I had been there for 30 minutes. It's gameday. Yes. Was it crazy crowded?definitely NOT. I was there at 0730 and there was maybe 20 people in the place. The drive thru was busy and that seems to be all they focused on. No doubt it's a moral dilemma for a southern guy to spend money at a place like Starbucks but this place and experience made it even easier to pass it in the future for coffee somewhere else. No excuse for this type of wait for coffee and premade food warmed up in a microwave. Terrible. read more

Today it took 20 mins to get a slice of pound cake when the cashier could have given it to us at the same time than we were paying like they normally do in the rest of locations. Many other people with their drinks waiting forever for cookies and croissants that did not need to warm up. Very strange system really. We stopped here early in the morning hours, 5:15. Yelp has their hours iosn at 5:00AM but their drive-thru window said 5:30AM on Sunday. I'm nor sure if they served us early because they were ready to open or if they really do open at 5:00AM Sundays. If served early, thank you so much! This place is SO slow. Their drive through takes even longer because the person over the microphone literally interrogates you about your entire day. How you are, what your plans are for the day, your reasoning for your choice of order... I like a friendly drive through person, but honestly, the last thing I want to do when I'm in a rush (hence, I'm driving through -- not going inside) is uncomfortably talk to a worker for an extra 5 minutes in a line that will take you 25 minutes to go through in the first place. read more

You will wait in the drive thru for at least 20 minutes and often longer. Don't try going inside because you will wait as long if not longer. The bathrooms are not open and no seating inside. There is usually only 3 staff trying to serve the drive thru, the mobile customers, and anyone who dares to go inside. The drinks are good and the staff are very friendly. My frustration is with ownership. Why can every other food service business open up in Auburn but Starbucks cannot? Yes we are in COVID era but don't use that as an excuse to not staff your establishment or open the inside. I have been in Starbucks in Colorado, Georgia, and other states. Why is it they can open and staff accordingly? Shame on leadership for not having more staff and keeping the inside dining closed just to make more money. Again the workers are great! This Starbucks is in a great location for me to run in on the way into work but I have had very inconsistent service there. When they first opened the servers were very friendly and I never had issues with my orders. Recently though I have had some issues. The last time I went into the store I waited over 5 minutes (there was no line) for any of the baristas to even acknowledge I was there. Additionally, the last two times I have went through the drive through they have gotten my order wrong. I just hope they can improve back to 'first opened' Starbucks! read more
