I have gone to this location a few times both in the drive through and to sit inside. Overall have had a pleasant experience. Love that there is parking so if you want to sit inside you can. I recently had the focasia and the crème brûlée which was amazing. I also like their breakfast options. I like to go here when I have some work to do. My only complaint is that there aren't that many seats or outlets to charge your phone or computer . So if you're going to do work or join some virtual meetings better hope it's not packed. The employees seem friendly enough and the music is not too loud. The bathroom is maintained and was pretty clean last time I used it. I would like to see more outlets and more seats for those looking to find a place to read, work. The space is quite large and spacious enough for more seating. read more

I love this location. It has parking, bathrooms, outdoor seating and a drive thru. It conveniently located next to highway in case you want to hop back on almost instantly. They are very friendly and nice here. The place is always clean and well kept, yes even the bathroom. Your staff here are very slow, they spend more time talking to each other than getting our orders ready. I had just one person waiting in front of me and it took them literally 20 minutes to make 2 coffees and heat up pastry. This is the worse Starbucks I have been to. read more

Probably one of my favorite Starbucks locations. Plenty of lighting so you can actually see what you're reading. Most of the time the music isn't too loud, so you can hear the other person you're with or your own music. The bathroom is kept clean and stocked. The employees are polite and respectful. I haven't had a negative interaction with even one of them. (I also love watching the interactions among them. They seem really close. ^.^) The drinks are pretty much then same as the ones in Manhattan, WHICH means they don't skip out on quality. Via UberEats I've ordered from here twice & both times was a fail. The first time I got my usual a mango dragonfruit lemonade with a bacon, egg & gouda & they put too much dragonfruit to the point it was barely any lemonade in there & my sandwich was ice cold. My location is only 10 mins from here, so it's not as if the delivery driver is traveling 30 mins to get to me. The 2nd time I ordered I said let me get my next favorite drink which is a green tea lemonade sweetened & I requested a few extra pumps of syrup & I tried the sandwich again. Once again the drink had no extra pumps of syrup & my sandwich was ice cold. It's as if instead of heating it up as Starbucks usually does, they just took it straight out the fridge & sent it on it's way to be delivered. Whenever I order from a place I've never physically been to, I always try to make it my duty to go & see what it's like in person. So today in drive through I ordered a venti mango dragonfruit lemonade & the young lady said "we don't have venti cups"....silence....I than said "ok, so what cup size are you going to give me" she than said "do you want a grande or trenta". I understand it's a price difference, but if it was me working there, I would've just given the larger size cup & not even mention anything. The great thing about this location is that it was built from the ground up on this plot so it maximizes the square footage of the lot. Its large West facing windows allow lots of bright indirect light and its high industrial ceilings create an airy spacious feeling. The atmosphere inside feels like a lounge in a very cool tech startup (and I've been to Google and Yelp HQ, so this is a compliment) This Starbucks, more than any other I've visited, is great for setting up your Notebook to finish working on your billion dollar idea, to take a breather between classes, or to meet a client or friend. Customer service is great here, and the Baristas appear to enjoy what they do. This isn't my first visit to this location but it IS my first time venturing indoors and sitting a spell. This is easily one of my favorite Starbucks locations. The reason for that is because this location has some of the most helpful and friendliest baristas and there is a drive-thru lane here. When I come here, I know that I may have a bit of a wait at the drive-thru line, but at least I know that my order will be accurate. When I pull up to the window to pay, I had a barista who took the time to ask me if I had the Starbucks Rewards app. At the time, I did not have one and I had not thought of downloading it. So I asked the person at the window about the benefits and the person took the time to explain the benefits for me. It is because of that one interaction that I actually downloaded the app and I have enough stars to redeem for a few different freebies. Now whenever I pull up to the window and use my app, I am reminded that I can redeem my stars for freebies. It is because of the customer service at this location that I keep coming back. read more

When I first saw they were opening a Starbucks here, I was super excited. Even though it's just down the block from my local bux, this location is superior for a number of reasons. First off, it's a beautiful Starbucks- walking in, it was super spacious with a lot of couches, chairs, tables, and a large high-top to to sit and do your Starbucking; there's just a lot more room and nobody is on top of each other (unlike its sister location). Secondly, there's more civilized parking and a drive thru. If you read my review of the the other bux on Eastchester Road, you'll see I mentioned the parking lot is a nightmare from hell - while the parking lot is not large here either, it's much more practical; the drive-thru is a plus if you come here by car and can't find parking. Lastly, though it's just down the block, geographically this is a better spot. It's at the intersection of two major roads, and it's directly across the street from Einstein Hosptial and the medical school. I'm so happy this location finally opened - my new local Starbucks! read more

A few weeks ago I visited your 2188 White Plains Rd, location for the 1st time. Besides being a long-time stock shareholder, my family visits various Starbucks locations in NYC. All are good, but never that one special memorable experience. That happened to me with a worker named Mia. A simple order I placed, but her attention, friendliness and really going out-of-her-way was unusual. Even through her face-mask I saw she was smiling. Top Notch attitude! Came here a few times after running along Pelham Parkway with my girlfriend. It's quite convenient to come here, especially on my way to the Hutch to get home. I've only every used the drive-thru and it's usually quick and easy. The employees working the mic are fast but patient if you're having trouble deciding on the fly. I've only encountered really nice staff at the drive-thru and I'm sure it's the same if you walk inside to get your order. Everyone knows what Starbucks has to offer so I won't bore you with menu items. All I can say is that this location is worth the visit because you'll likely have a pleasant experience. As of late, driving in the area has been crappy so if you know you're going to this location, have a game plan as far as how your going to gain access to their parking lot/drive-thru. They're doing construction right where you exit the drive-thru so it can be hectic trying to get the right of way to merge into traffic. It is especially difficult when knuckleheads attempt to make illegal left turns when exiting; don't this that anymore because you're holding up the rest of us. read more

Simple, no frills Starbucks. However, VERY spacious, there's a drive thru, parking, and it's open pretty late (10:30pm on a weekday). You can't beat those amenities in the Bronx. Interestingly, I came here for a blind date and we had a great time. It was pretty full when we arrived but the staff were speedy and kind with service. No issues. I've been going here for years, whether for a nice walk or for the drive thru before it gets packed (aka before 5pm-8pm). My go tos are the strawberry acais with lemonade, pink drinks, and caramel fraps. Sometimes the strawberry acai can be watery but most of the time they're made with love here. When I ask for a caramel frap without whip cream and caramel syrup because I'm allergic to dairy, they make it right and with love. Their staff care and are great. Donna always takes great care of my family with our orders and has a great work ethic. Very cheery person! I have to find out the other employees names but they're all great! Some customers come in and are rude to them, which is crazy but that's NYC I guess. People go crazy when the lemonade is sold out smh. BTW when things are sold out they offer good alternatives. This Starbucks is open early enough for a coffee 6am. I love that they have the drive-thru for convenience. I wish they have a bigger parking area, but unfortunately it could for about 7 cars max in their lot. Inside the music can be a little loud but if you request, they can turn down the music. Stopped here at the drive through for a Medicine ball and a croissant. Both were great and the wait wasn't too long, but the real highlight of this Starbucks is Donna. I believe that's her name. She is a true gem and I wish more people were like her. She greeted me so happily and with so much energy, it instantly brought my mood up. She has such a wonderful attitude. This location sells good Starbucks products. Although drive thru line could be hard to get into due to on coming traffic in both directions. There's also no parking in front of the it because there's a bus stop. And once you drive in the parking lot area you have to make a right turn to exit, due to left turns being prohibited. However, aside from all the car related stuff, if you have to go inside the staff is ok, very chatty amongst each other. And only in one visit did I experience a rude barista, who didn't notice the bev he was making was mine, or didn't care who it belonged to and said he was not customizing the drink according to the instructions. When he called out my name and I said this is not how I ordered it, I had to ask another barista for a larger cup and the whip cream to adjust the drink myself. read more

Had no idea there was a second Starbucks over here - I live fairly close, but go to grad school in Queens, so I'm not around here studying very often. Huge space. Has two long tables, one with stools and one with chairs, a few small tables, and a couple of big chairs/sofas in the middle. There are only about 3 outlets, unfortunately I wasn't able to get a small table near one - probably the worst thing is not having more outlets. So come charged if you can. Staff seems really nice. This is much nicer than a lot of the Starbucks in Manhattan because of its spaciousness. Also a much better alternative to the other Bronx Starbucks I've gone to (Metropolitan Oval, where there is hardly any seating & super cramped). read more

Very poor consumer service displayed here today. I understand this is an overwhelming time for everyone but with that being said you can not let customers come in and demand to be served after the store has closed. The young lady taking my order today was very polite. The young lady making my lemonade and muffin however got distracted by a customer complaining about the doors not being locked and she deserves to be served. My order was taken and i waited. I was then skipped drink not made after having waited. Highly unprofessional and it's sad because i really like this store. Terrible customer service. I walked in and there's a worker at the cash register, as soon as I go up to the register she walks away to the left and goes to back room. She didn't say anything like, "I'll be back in a minute" or "Give me a minute", she just walked away. Even her co-worker said you have a customer and she ignored her.
