Typically have decent service at this Starbucks, but don't go in the mornings. This morning it took 23 mins from the order screen to get my coffee. That doesn't even count the time I took waiting to get to the order screen! I'm not happy. Horrible way to start my day! read more

Very disappointed, which I would have never expected from a Starbucks chain that is usually very predictable. My intent in going was to sit and relax, enjoy an iced coffee on a very hot day, while I took advantage of the wifi and be able to work. I couldn't do any of that. While the coffee tasted fine, this was after having to get my very simple order corrected. I'm not sure the air conditioning was working, which is probably why the employees couldn't do their job well. There were a gross amount of flies, the tables were dirty, AND I couldn't get the wifi to to work. I was able to connect to Fed Ex next door, but that wasn't even reliable. Fabulous staff, friendly and fast. What more can you ask for from a chain? Otherwise, just like any Starbucks anywhere else in the U.S..

It's just a starbucks. There's nothing special here. Granted, it is convenient from Highway 55 which is a main Highway from New Orleans to Minneapolis. So if you have to have Starbucks brand...well here it is. There are several restaurants nearby that also are chain franchises. Red Lobster is across the street, so is Olive Garden and Popeys. But, if you want good coffee, head into Cape for Dynamite Coffee or Cup and Cork. Both easily located on William street (same street as Starbucks. William street is also called Hwy 5) and just 6 minutes off the highway and into the river district at Cape Girardeau. read more

I went there last night with my son and we ordered our drinks. I wanted my coffee hot, and my son wanted an iced coffee. They got our order wrong TWICE, and seemed bothered because they had to correct their mistakes. The coffee, which is normally so hot it will burn your mouth, was lukewarm at best. That's really sad when you are shelling out $12.00 for 2 latte's. read more

One day I reached over to get my purse from the passenger seat so I could pay and didn't have it! I was so embarrassed. The barrista said "You need your coffee" and gave it to me anyway. I tried to pay on my next visit and wasn't allowed to. How kind that was. Thank you for not letting me drive away feeling more foolish than I already did. LOL read more

Watched in disbelief as the barrista started my wife's drink, then let it sit while she moved on to finish 7 other drinks lined up after hers. It wasn't until we got her attention that she called someone over to do the finishing touches- namely scooping ice into the cup. Apology? Nah- we got an eyeroll instead. This was honestly the WORST service that I have ever had from a Starbucks. Greg was super rude!! Will not get my business.

Stopped in on way back, was here a few months ago. Complained that the bathrooms were disgusting then and today they are even worse. Seven people working and not one could at least mop. The walls were filthy in bathroom and were the coffee is served. It makes you wonder what it looks like where they cook the food. read more

I love coming to this Starbucks! They remember my drink when I come in and if I need something special, they are quick to please. I visit at least once a week and enjoy being able to find a quiet spot to read or work, or a place to meet friends. When they have samples of new flavors or when they were promoting their ice cream, they went out of their way to include me. They never mess up my drink and if someone accidentally takes mine they quickly made another. I've been to a lot of Starbucks across the region and while the drinks typically stay the same from one to another, the service here is wonderful. read more

Very poor customer service, asked for a decaf pour over and they wouldn't make it even though they had the coffee on the shelf. NOT ACCEPTABLE, lost good customers! read more

Nice atmosphere. I order plain black coffee or unsweet iced coffee. The only problem I have is that they keep putting milk or sugar syrup in and I continually have to take it back to be remade. One time they got it wrong 4 times, threw it out and left. Another time the manager argued with me and said I ordered it that way. Why would someone with a dairy allergy order milk? And when you do have them remake it good luck getting a clean cup that has not touched milk. read more
