Great service and helpful when we were looking for a treat to take to go for a birthday gift. We tried the Carmel brownie cheesecake. It was delicious! I got a bite of my dad's chocolate cake thing that tasted like an elevated ding dong. It was really good! The key lime cheesecake was delicious too. Stopped in for something sweet today while we were in town. My husband got cookies and I got a blueberry muffin. The cookies were ok. And the Muffin was not good at all. I didn't eat anymore after a couple bites. The muffin tasted doughy like and like unbaked flour. We will try again but not for sweets. I visited My Daddy's Cheesecake for the first time on a Friday evening around 5:20 p.m. The entire restaurant was empty and it appeared that pick-up orders were very popular. I ordered a whole Triple Grilled Cheese, which came with a pickle and side of kettle chips. The food plus a large drink cost a little over $12. My food was out in about 10 minutes and it was quite tasty! After dinner I ordered one slice of Creamsicle Cheesecake to go, which cost about $5. I thought the price for the small slice was a bit much. The service was impeccable. The staff working the register were very helpful and kind. The restarting was clean and there were plenty of tables for sitting. I would definitely visit again! read more

We stopped in around 3ish and it was very busy so I knew we stumbled upon something pretty good, and let me tell ya It did not disappoint!! We ordered quite a variety of treats, an eclair, pumpkin cheesecake, a brownie and plenty more. They were all absolutely delicious and It was the best pumpkin cheesecake I've ever eaten! Rarely do I walk into a business and feel like it is an inconvenience to give that business money, but the gentleman who "assisted" me this afternoon succeeded in making that happen. I really enjoyed the wrap I had for lunch here. Everyone in my family ordered a different wrap and we all enjoyed them. They serve them with chips (regular or bbq) and a pickle! It was delicious. We also got two of the cannolis to share (they are large). The cannolis are chocolate dipped and really good! We also purchased a 6 pack of the mini cheesecakes. I was really impressed with the variety of desserts this place had. Truly something for everyone. My family enjoyed the mini cheesecakes later in the evening. They were good but not the best I've ever had. I think I liked the cannoli more. My family all agreed the pumpkin cheesecake and the berry cheesecake were the best but the rest I felt lacked anything special. I bet some of the other desserts there are very good. This seems to be the case of too many choices and not one is a specialty. Lots to choose from and nothing to wow you. I had the Thai wrap: cucumbers, carrots, red bell pepper, chicken, peanut sauce and nuts. It was pretty bland. I also ordered the original gooey butter cake. I was hoping it's like Park Ave. Coffee Bar in St. Louis that specializes in gooey butter cake, but I was wrong.This was just average tasting butter cake. It was honestly a tad dry. I was so excited to stumble across this place! So much cheesecake and so little time. I immediately entered the store. It pained me but I patiently waited as the people ahead of me were assisted. This is a great place for so many reasons.. This place has moved three times since it opened. It had a small place in downtown, I never went in there. Moved again years later to a new location, again I never entered their door. When they moved again to a more central location my parents started frequenting this place and I would meet them there on occasion. When you start a business, you never know who you are going to touch. I'm a fan of local people making good in their endeavors. Evidently these folks have had a passion for great deserts, coffees and of course Cheesecakes for years. Not sure how long they have been in business but it's been quite a while.. My Dad and Mom live about 45 minutes away in another town. When they would come to Cape Girardeau for doctor visits or shopping this became a mainstay for both of them. I'm not sure how long that they had been coming to this little shop but it is and was a special place for them to enjoy each others company and a great quality breakfast or Cannoli. My Mother passed away a couple of years ago. My Dad still faithfully stops in and I often meet him there. The staff would always ask about my Mother and how she was doing until she finally passed. It's a place that any town would be proud to have. I can't stop in without thinking about my Mother.. Great people, great quality food. The atmosphere is like a coffee shop with abundant pastries. Slightly different menu than just a coffee shop with some good looking food items, on paper. I ordered take out for a Reuben and a full citrus salad with chicken. Once the food arrived home I was a little disheartened by the salad. The sandwich looked good and was substantial without being an overwhelming amount of food. The salad was not what I would consider a "full" though. The salad toppings were underwhelming in quantity, mandarins and strawberries in very scant quantity while I couldn't tell if the strawberries were fresh cut or canned. The salad was just iceberg pieces spread out, scant pieces of almond, mandarin, and strawberry, a decent amount of chicken and then what I'm assuming as pre packaged dressing on the side. All in all it was underwhelming and I wouldn't get it again unless I was in restaurant and could request more toppings. I'd eat there again, as this was my first time, but I really wonder if most of the (savory) items they sell are prepackaged or not. read more
