Food and coffee were both so good! We were in town for the weekend and got the avocado toast and lattes. The homemade syrups in our lattes were so good we came back for more the next day! Service was quick and everyone was so nice. Will have to add this to the routine when in cape. read more

At the St. Francis location, salted caramel lattes with almond milk are amazing, and so is my order of raspberry matcha lattes. The BLT (I get on croissant instead of sourdough) is really good but very overpriced. The smoothies are hit and miss. Sometimes they have a good flavor, however a lot of times taste very watered down. They got rid of 2 of my favorite items. They used to carry cinnamon rolls with a maple drizzle that were amazing. Instead they've replaced with a much larger roll but not as good. The autumn maple mix salad has been gone awhile, and while that too was overpriced, it had an amazing flavor and I've not found anywhere else that has it. I've been told that item will not be returning. The employees are always friendly. read more

My family and I really enjoyed this quaint coffee shop in Downtown Cape. We tried a variety of their breakfasts including the burrito, BLT, waffle flight, and chicken & waffles. All were delicious. The salted caramel latte (both iced and hot) were delicious. I also really enjoyed the chai latte with just a hint of spice. If I'm back in the area I will come back to try other menu items. Staff were great, especially the barista he was kind and helpful. The inside is perfect for working, reading or catching up with friends! Parking: street parking is plenty and available right outside the shop. Accessibility: getting in there is a small ledge. They have one stall large bathrooms. The space between tables and area near the counter is slightly narrow. read more

I was surprised to find this solid lil' food and coffee spot in the hospital...what a treat! My Wife's Grandmother was in ICU, so we had some times each day where visiting hours were closed. Man, the food was so good, I had the Breakfast burrito, and the coffee was on point. Everyone working there was super friendly and accommodating...again, just a great treat at a spot where you're thinking about your loved one and expecting cafeteria food as your only option. read more

Fantastic place here. came here with my current girlfriend (future wife) and we had their brunch. I got the Turkish Latte and she got the Chai Latte. Both were scrumptious (hers was very sweet). I love a cinnamon coffee so I was quite satisfied as I usually get the salted caramel latte (also very good. better hot though!) We got the chorizo breakfast burrito and as the people of the block may tell you, I'm not a breakfast burrito cheerleader, but this one was very good in my book. service was, as always, quick and lovely. this is a good place and we will be returning. read more

We got lavender honey lattes, delicious. The breakfast burrito was sooo good! My husband loved the breakfast Sammy. We sat in the lovely hotel lobby, so nice ambiance. The waitress brought our food out there well. The cashier was rude, but hey aren't they always at good coffee places? read more

The Ground A Bout is a decent little coffee shop in Cape G. Super convenient with the hotel just right across the street. The girl at the register was clearly new, but as helpful as she could be and the barista was also very nice. I stopped in during the day to work for a bit and found it an alright place to take a few calls. I had a vanilla latte and a slice of their lemon loaf, both were very good! The only things I wish were a bit different was that the space is pretty small so the coffee grinder ends up being a little loud. Unless you have really good noise cancelling headphones, this probably isn't the best place to study or get some work done. The other thing is that the Ground A Bout is only open until 2pm. I was looking for somewhere to post up for the whole 9-5 work day and this just ended up not being it. If you're looking for a coffee and a quick bite to go, this is your place! read more

Ordered a cold brew with peppermint and the barista suggested the cold brew with peppermint cold foam. She was told that I didn't like sugar and also liked my coffee black, she said the cold foam just drips down and adds a little flavor and sugar and she'd only put on a little bit, so i ordered it. The cold brew ended up being lighter than the latte that was also ordered. It tasted like a McDonalds coffee... all cream and sugar. I went back and ordered a cold brew with just peppermint and told the barista it was way too sweet and light. She remembered my name and then said, oh sorry, that was probably my fault. Then proceeds to charge me for the coffee I had originally asked for because the one she suggested was horrible. Good customer service would have replaced the original drink that was supposed to be a touch of cold foam and ended up being all cream. Best pumpkin spice latte!! They said they make it in house. Definitely not too sweet like starbs or something.

I placed an order through doordash today and ordered some biscuits and gravy. What I received was not even remotely akin to what you would call gravy. It was extremely runny and had seperated out with a thick layer of grease on top and dripping from the container. I don't believe there was any flour added to the gravy as the concoction lacked any thickness. The biscuits were obviously microwaved too. Place was cool, needs more seating, and the coffee is not great. However, the fact that one amazing, iconic queen was making all the coffee orders alone AND giving direction to other workers was insane. She's a saint honestly. Her coworkers couldn't even get her ice??? Either management needs to give her help or they need to hire more team player and leadership quality people. Poor thing looked like she'd been through hell. She's a brunette kind of short girl. Wish I got her name. But, honestly she deserves a raise. read more

This coffee shop is AMAZING!!!!! I am a regular shop hopper and can never stay at one place for to long because I get bored with the drinks. However, I have continually visited the ground about because the establishment brings me back. I have never had a bad experience at this place. The employees (all ages) are always extremely nice and welcoming. They are very helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations. I just bought a coffee and watched a customer be handed her food and drink. The customer was sitting outside and the employees in the front offered and assisted the customer with carrying her drink and food. They held the door open and ensured she was taken care of. This customer was also not incapable by any means and yet the employees made sure she had help just in case. I even noted to one of the employees "Starbucks hospitality could never compare". The level of care and passion the employees seem to have makes me believe they actually like working there. The establishment is clean and well maintained as well which makes everything even better. The only down side is the business closes at 2pm. I wish I could get coffee from there all day every day. But hey, the hours of operation are nothing when the business is this amazing. 100,000/10 will continue to come here as long as I live in cape!! read more
