If you're into pour overs, Detour has an incredible selection of their own coffee bean roasts. Not a coffee fan? No problem. I also recommend this spot to pick up the best artisan style sourdough I've had in this area (if you're not close to Dear Grain Commissary in downtown Hamilton). My friend and I got the Rose Garden tower and my daughter got the Peony (kid) tower. My daughter got a lemonade with her tower and it was very cute. She loved the food and the tea set. The scones with the clotted cream and jam was really good. Soft on the inside and has a nice crust to it. The other selections were great and the brownies were rich. I added vanilla syrup to mine for a little extra flavor which was a nice touch. I don't want to rate the place unfairly since I didn't actually try their coffee this time around, but based on the vibe, I would definitely go back to try a latte next time.
