Came through this location on a road trip and saw they had a sandwich I had never tried before! I think it's new? I got the chicken, maple butter, and egg sandwich. To drink, I got a grande iced matcha latte. Service was amazing. The staff gets 5 stars for dealing with our complicated order! As far as the sandwich, it wasn't bad, but it was more MacDonalds quality rather than what you'd expect from Starbucks. It was a soft chicken tender and egg in bread. The maple flavor was there but I wanted more of the sauce. Not amazing. But everything else was great! read more

Starbucks is trying to save money - they are not giving out receipts, stoppers for drinks or napkins. Not good customer service. When I asked for my receipt I was told they have a sign up saying no more receipts. When I insisted, I was told there is no receipt paper anywhere in the store and the manager was not in. read more

I have been to this Starbucks many times and invariably the service is excellent and fast enough. The baristas seen more friendly than average and a couple of times have gone above and beyond on my orders. I like the location, also. I know that businesses like to be near the major roads, and this location seems a bit more removed from highway 441 than the branch out near that crazy intersection at Donnelly Street in Mt. Dora. We ride bicycles to get to our coffee fix, and this branch can be accessed more easily using calmer back streets. I got a kick out of one of the negative reviews. A barista was rude apparently (though I thought it was a polite question myself) because she was sitting at the drive through window, polluting the air while on her cell phone. Maybe nobody was behind her in line, but someone could have been any second. Who gets to define rudeness where excessive cell phone usage is concerned? Ah well, rant over. I love Starbucks ... I really do ... and I love this particular Starbucks as well. First off, its nice and spacious with TONS of seating. You can sit at tables, you can sit in big chairs, you can sit at the huge *bleep* familly style tall table ... you aren't going to be frustrated trying to find someplace to enjoy your beverage and/or snack. Plus, its beautiful inside. This particular Starbucks holds up well to the company's idea of making your stop and "experience" ... and this a good one. Its also very well stocked with coffee beans, snacks and merchandise. Its well organized and easy to shop as well. Oh! I also went to the restroom and it was super clean too. My barista was super sweet as well as all the staff. They have a drive through as well but I always like to go inside different stores to see what products they have compared to others ... and I like what I saw here. So, hip! hip! hooray! My mom and I visited the store at around 4. The drive thru and cafe were extremely busy and they only had three employees working. In actuality, I'd only count one of those employees as actually working. The other two were extremely lazy. Kate did an incredible job crafting beverages, and connecting with customers. Meanwhile the girl working the window, felicity, and the other co worker (didn't catch his name) moved extremely slow. It was very unfortunate to see Kate carrying the entire team and store while her co workers sat back and relaxed without supporting her in the slightest bit. I'm not sure if the other partners were new but if not, these are not the kind of people a business would want working at their establishment. Will start off with a question. How is it that a company that makes millions of dollars with over priced coffee, not be able to manage their ridiculous long drive thru lines. By the time you go thru the line whatever you ordered will be cold if it's supposed to be hot. And whatever you order iced it's melted. The drive thru should not be a parking lot. You have had plenty of time preparing and working thru this pandemic where you know most people will place drive drive thru orders and it doesn't seem you made adjustments for the influx of drive thru orders. Stepping into this Starbucks is like stepping right into some classy Starbucks somewhere in Washington state or NYC. Like, for real, y'all. This Starbucks is so beautiful inside with comfy leather chairs as soon as you walk in and plenty of good "studying" seating as well. I love the vibes inside this Starbucks so much that I literally pass the Mount Dora and the Target Starbucks to get to this one. Starbucks is Starbucks but this location is certainly on point! We went through the drive-thru on a busy Saturday morning. We had actually just left the DD across the street after waiting in line 15 minutes and not moving. We arrived at Starbucks to an equally long line but they were actually moving. Not only were they busy but they were taking care of everything with super friendly attitudes and efficiency. Our order was 100% accurate. Sorry kids, but this my worst Starbucks experience Evah! I ordered my drink while at the red light out front, yet still waited behind 6-8 people who entered after me. This location seems to cater to the drive through line more than the walk in business. There were about 10 cars in line and only 3 people working inside. It was a 10-15 min wait for our 4 drinks (2 of which were just ice tea with nothing added) and there were only 2 people ahead of us. read more

One of the Best Starbucks in lake county service is great, workers fast service with a smile

For someone that frequents Starbucks weekly I was taken back with my experience this morning. I pulled up to the window and was greeted properly for my order. I asked the barista to give me a minute before ordering. I wanted to finish up a quick call, which lasted less than 60 seconds. Just as I was completing my phone call another barista hopped on and smugly says " is there something we can help you with or are you having trouble?" I apologized and told her there was no one in line behind me. She said it didn't matter because they were on a timer! Are you kidding me!? I'm spending money at your establishment and you're going to rush me to order my latte when there is literally no one else in line!? Obviously I was annoyed. The gentleman at the window apologized profusely and was obviously embarrassed. Her name is Tonya and I will certainly be notifying management. It usually takes a lot for me to get this upset but I spend hundreds of dollars at Starbucks every year and this was just incredibly discourteous. I come here quiet often. Unfortunately I've had too many mistakes happen to my order and this will be the last time I visit this location. I visited this location twice today. The first time I asked for a iced Carmelmacchiato and received a hot one. No big deal. Just asked for it to be iced. When I recieved my new coffee it almost seemed like it was just some of the hot coffee I originally was given poured over ice with added milk. I say tho because when it was handed to me the ice was pretty much gone and the cup was mostly milk hardly any coffee. I was disappointed and could not return because I had to get to work. So I came back this afternoon to get my coffee fix. This time I ordered an iced mocha macchiato with almond milk. It looked fine. It was a little chunky looking so I just assumed it needed to be mixed. When I drank it something tasted sour. And the coffee tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time. It was bitter tasting and not how it usually is. So this was the final straw for me. Now I would have left the review in the app but it only gives you a few hours to post a review. Not happy at all. Spend 12$ on drinks for it to be like this is not acceptable. read more

Last visit to this store. I love Starbucks- but this store is the worst. I work a mile or so away and I was planning to go several times a week if not daily. After several drinks weren't prepared properly, I chalked it up to being a new store. I've ordered the Very Berry Hibiscus Green Tea over 100 times from stores all over the country- this store cannot get it right. I've pointed it out a couple of times but the first was an excuse they didn't have all the ingredients because they just opened, next was they were still learning etc. etc. ordered a Violet Drink today and there was so much ice the straw wouldn't go in. I told the girl for a $5 drink there should be more liquid- she said there was a problem with the ice! Yes- too much of it!!
