A daily customer in the morning where they know my order when I pull up to the drive thru. It's disheartening to hear that this afternoon we went to get iced teas from this location. The employees messed up basic teas and when questioned the employees rolled their eyes and were obviously mad and with an order of over twenty dollars and tip they should be very accommodating. What an outstanding Starbucks. One of my main observations was the drive-thru was thought out very nicely. So many of the Starbuck drive-thrus I visit end up out in the street blocking traffic or the parking lot. This location has a nice LOG drive-thru. Even though the line was long, the staff did a wonderful job keeping the line moving. The associate manning the drive-thru window was so friendly. As I was sitting in line I noticed she was engaging the customers to chat with them as their order was being prepared. I was very impressed. I ordered a Caramel Brulee Latte and, my favorite, the roasted red pepper egg white egg bites. Both my drink and the egg bites were hot and steamy. What else could I ask for! What a wonderful experience! Next time I am in the area, I will definitely stop by this Starbucks location. read more

I don't mind tipping for good service, but handing the CC machine out the window with a mandatory tip screen trying to beg for tips from the drive through is pretty lame. First of all, why should someone tip for a drive through transaction, that would have to be some extraordinary service. Secondly, you're making the customer ring themselves up like a self check out so shouldn't we be getting the tip? read more

This Starbucks has been closing around 2 hours earlier for the past few weeks, which is fine, but they took down their signage for it. So we went in tonight to study. Walked in with bags & books in hand, purchased drinks, unloaded our materials, & then we're told they closed 2 minutes ago... what do we do now? We came here to get out of the house, but we have to go back. It's too dark to study at the outside seating & we can't take our drinks into other restaurants. They've also been closed on random nights we've driven up with no warning, & their seating is terrible, like they don't want people to stay & hang out. Probably going to stop coming to this store - it's clearly poorly managed. read more

Pretty new establishment next to the Harris SW hospital. I'm thinking not a lot of people know abut this place so it's still a real quiet place to study. Downside is that it may be far from TCU and UNTHSC but the high schoolers from Trinity Valley school might choose to frequent when school starts again. Large tables and plenty of plugs! Great staff too; was the last customer here on a Saturday night and one of the baristas offered me tea/water to go! On the house. read more

I hardly write reviews... but almost every morning I visit this Starbucks. Every single time the baristas are so nice!! This is the first interaction of my day and most of the time I'm still somewhat asleep, and at 7 am these people are so happy that you're there! Today the guy taking the order was super awesome, and the sweet girl at the window was asking if I had plans for the weekend and chatted with me. When I go to drive thru's I'm kinda used to the people working to basically take my payment and give me what I have ordered, but these people seem like they care and enjoy their job. So shoutout to Starbucks for making the rest of my day awesome!!! read more

Really great place to study or write. I go here several times a week, and the service is always on point. They know my drink and my name, and they are always extremely friendly. Also, this is one of the most spacious Starbucks I have been to, so there's always a place to sit. The outside seating is also really nice with a large, well-lit patio. read more

The 8 o'clock crew this morning ROCKED!! I usually don't get to work early enough to grab breakfast, but I got a free breakfast sandwich code, so I made an extra effort to get over here early today. These people were taking orders, filling orders, literally spinning around one another speaking a language of their own including ingredients, sizes, customer names. Having been a loyal Starbucks customer for nearly a decade, and a former employee/'partner' myself, I can honestly say that my coffee experiences have become increasingly more disappointing with time. It is at this point, and with more relief than sorrow, that I throw my hands up and bid Starbucks adieu. My boycott has officially begun. As much as I love been overcharged for over-caffeinated beverages, it's really in the quality of these astronomically priced 'specialty drinks' that the true problem lies. Just this morning I purchased a 12 ounce latte from this Oakmont Starbucks only to find, once at home, that this 12 oz beverage couldn't have been filled a mere 8oz. Interrupting my morning of breakfast making, I went back to Starbucks to remedy the situation and was met with a rude, apathetic, and quite unapologetic barista who only begrudgingly remade the latte. Starbucks, the so-called queen of convenience, has cost me my last inconvenienced and over-priced coffee experience. Again, it is with great relief that I bid Starbucks goodbye. There's a barista by the name of Sam at this location that is always super friendly and very willing to make changes to whatever I need. He always is very helpful and has a great attitude. He definitely makes the prices worth it! read more

This location is perfect to study at! My first visit (two months ago) was a very pleasant visit! I've been coming here often to study and work on projects since the other locations in the area are always packed and have enjoyed each visit. It's an at home feeling. The staff here is amazing! Very diverse and unique bunch. Shout outs to Patty for being such a welcoming and generous barista! Oh, and tip! For anyone needing a good "pick me up," ask the staff for a "John Wang." This is the worst Starbucks around this area. Almost every time I've been they mess my simple order up. Terrible service, took longer than 5 minutes for one frappuccino while I was one of 2 people in the place.. The woman who ordered after me was given her coffee before me, and then I saw them making my frappuccino.. After it was finished the guy placed my coffee on the counter and walked off to the bathroom without saying anything.. I was not satisfied. A simple apology would have solved everything.
