I've heard so much about BRC so, I decided to stop by on the way to my Bible Study. I love the design of the building. It's painted Black and White and has a large patio. It's nice and clean on the inside, the staff is helps you choose the right drink. Drinks are like $5.00 but they offer Military Discounts. I opted for a Iced Vanilla Latte. It was good once I stirred it. It was semi sweet without a strong coffee like taste. BRC has a giftshop, lots of seating, a few games and books to read by the electric fireplace.The majority of their customers are Males. I love the decor, it so nice to look around. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to grab some coffee to go with my dad. Seems like a pretty cool place that's great to sit down & socialize. I had a sugar free caramel latte, excellent with a strong coffee flavor. My dad isn't a fancy coffee drinker (aka he never goes into coffeeshops but instead does the kcup at him), so he isn't really sure what to order... ever, lol. The barista/employee at the register, I think his name was Frank, recommended a Smokey Joe. My dad really liked this! Super friendly staff, upon ordering he even told us if my dad didn't like it he would be happy to make him something else. As a veteran I can honestly say the whole "military" theme is just marketing at this point. Everything is pre-made like the cold brew and tea. I would be nice if you brewed your own tea instead of outsourcing it to a company that is forced to add acetic acid to the tea for shelf life. Also, please stop hawking your swag for ME to buy on your behalf so you can give it out as if YOU were donating it. Black rifle has fantastic, not overly sweet, coffee. I appreciate the support they have for first responders, but know they are always doing some sort of donation/fundraiser for someone (troops, firefighters, etc). I wish it was a percentage of my purchase that went towards the cause so I don't feel obligated to add on to my order and increase what I had planned on spending. I digress, the food is much better than other fast coffee locations and service is by far superior. It's a smiling face every time I go! So far I've only used the drive thru and love this place!! They open at 5:30am even on Saturday and Sunday which is killer! The staff has been super friendly. YES! Even at such an early hour. The coffee is strong without even a hint of bitterness. My go-to is the honey latte. I asked if the food units were brought in and was told they are made in house. I had the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The bacon was crispy just like she told me. I enjoyed it. One of these days I'll go inside and check out some of the veteran themed gear. Either your coffee takes 25 minutes to get to you or you have interactions like I had today where the coffee was nearly overflowing out of the cup when the lady gave it to me, and the straw was twice as big as the normal , so it would not fit inside the lid. No warning or anything so I was I'm struggling to get the straw inside the coffee and it literally explode everywhere and gets all over me all over my car and honestly ruined my plans for the day because now I have to change and clean my car. First time at the Benbrook location. Went for the grand opening event. Great staff, great coffee, no pretentious attitude. Nitro Cold Brew is my go-to. Finally got to try the food too. The jalapeno and sausage kolache was great. It's the link sausage style, not the ground style. I also got the breakfast burrito. It was a good size, lots of eggs and potatoes, right amount of cheese... Was supposed to have bacon, but I only saw a few bits. I asked an employee, and they said they get them from a local bakery, not made onsite... Will try again to see if it was a fluke. Overall, excellent experience. read more

I've been going here about every week since they opened. The coffee is better than other coffee chains in my opinion. I usually go through the drive through, but the eating area inside is really nice. I bring my son sometimes to enjoy a muffin! The rare times they've made mistakes, they've always made it better than right. I'm a big fan of this location. The merch is cool, and the company does a lot for veterans and first responders.
