I pulled up and was immediately overwhelmed by the menu. It wasn't huge, but it was full of specialty drinks that seemed to be Candyland themed? I'm used to independent coffee shops that have five or six things on their menu. This place has more of a Biggby feel to me, with sugary specialty drinks and lots of options. I just panicked and ordered a medium cold brew with cream and caramel added. They told me to "scoot" up to the window (get it?) and I paid. The drink was big and tasted nice. I'm not really a cold brew connoisseur but it was tasty. I didn't notice any food on the menu as I panic-read, but apparently Scooter's does have food (like pastries, cookies, breakfast sandwiches, etc.) so I'd try some food next time. It won't be my go-to but if I'm around a Scooter's in the future I may stop.

BUT Belle's sets the bar high and continually meets and exceeds all expectations. Drink quality and consistency are something that are very important to me, and if Belle does anything 10/10 it is this! Not only does she succeed in this area, Belle's also hires quality baristas. They are trained well, confident, welcoming and friendly. The people that work here make it 10x better than it already is. They always make an effort to know all their customers and not just by name. Walking into Belles Coffee House feels like walking into your home, warm, inviting, friendly, relaxing. Everything you want in a coffee house you will find it here! A place is truly special when you can walk in and instantly feel a sense of relaxation.

I will say, the reason for three stars is the coffee was SO SWEET. I usually like sweet coffee, but this was a little too much for me. A couple of my favorites have been Stargazer and Seven Sisters, but recently ordered the current Shooting Star offering which features micro-lots that Tony and Lauren have come accross. The current offering is Hondouras-Finca la Esmeralda and is AMAZING! my new all-time favorite, and I am ordering a couple more bags while it is available.
