Brooklyn Bomber on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. Also had a breakfast bagel with cream cheese and egg. Very good!

I have to go here for my New York fix. The bagels are not as big as back home, but almost! They have lox, which my wife loves. The variety of bagels and sandwiches offered are fantastic. This is a great place to grab a bite to go or just enjoy in a booth/table inside. The cafe here also busts out all kinds of different lattes and espresso drinks so you can get your caffeine fix or want that sweetness. Definitely a place you can come back to over and over again.

I absolutely love this place. The boston cream muffin and the chai tea latte with skim milk is delicious. Also, the apple cinnamon bagel with the apple cinnamon cream cheese hits the spot every time. The people who work here are the friendliest and are amazing at customer service. This is the best cafe around the Muskegon area.

Best variety and freshness for bagels. Ever.

Best bagels I've ever eaten. Great coffee. Super chipper and friendly staff. Did I say great bagels? Best ever. Period.

Good bagels but seriously, $5 for a bagel with cream cheese in this market? I miss Big Apple Bagel.

Always love having coffee and breakfast here when I'm in town. Great local spot to sit and work or enjoy some company.

We've tried nearly everything on the menu (some we've tried twice) and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the drinks always hit. The orange mimosa is literally the best I've ever had. My 7yo and 9yo also enjoy this place to the point that it's the only place we eat out where they actually will clear their plates (and they order a ton of food here). My son always orders the chocolate chip pancake with a side of bacon and a side of sourdough toast. He finishes all of that then tries stealing the rest of our family members sides of toast. He quite literally asked me recently to make toast for breakfast for him, but he wanted it like brunch house makes it. Oh! We planned to go here last weekend and messed with my 7yo the morning of and told him we couldn't go because the brunch house called and said that my 7yo ate too much of their toast last time we were there, so they wouldn't accept our 7yo as a customer any longer. My 7yo literally "ugly cried" and I had to tell him we were joking and felt terrible. Overall, the weekdays are less busy than the weekends, but if you join the waitlist about 10-15 mins from arrival on the weekends, ur table is usually ready by time you arrive. We like to go right at 7-7:30am when they first open because it's usually only us and a few other customers in the restaurant, so we beat the rush.

The food and service were great. I did not try any baked goods but will be stopping in soon to enjoy a cinnamon roll and I suspect they will taste as well as they looked. While the service was great, I do love paying on the way out. It's just easier for everyone and avoids the back and forth trip for the servers. The Homestead Restaurant and Bakery has the best breakfast in the area. I'll be returning to try the lunch menu soon.

I got the waitresses attention and told her we will just pay for our coffee and go. She asks us to stay and says she will take our order and put it in before theirs and get us more coffee. Didn't come back. No coffee and water is now gone also. We decided to leave and they still made us pay for our coffee. Not saying we shouldn't have but after asking us to stay and still getting crap service the least they could have done was say don't worry about the coffee and have a good day. But instead we were treated with attitude when we left. Also I watched a waitress give the table next to us food that was theirs, when the couple brought it to the waitresses attention she simply picked it up and gave it to someone else. Literally watched the guy touch the food. Won't come back.

We even ate before we went so we wouldn't get hangry, but even from the wait of being seated to the time the kitchen finally makes your plate of food, my children were almost in tears because their tummies hurt. When asked how our meal was, I finally did mention that this will be our last time patronizing this establishment. Clearly they are too busy to craft a joyful and memorable experience.
