Not a big deal so I went inside thinking they would fix it but instead the cashier slammed my wrong items on the counter, signed, rolled eyes, all of it for a simple mistake. I don't have time for all that today so I told her never mind and as I was waking out the front door I could hear her on the headset complaining about me. Super decent Starbys in central Kansas. We were driving from KC to Santa Fe, NM, and this was a solid fast breakfast option along our route. They were a little slow, but it all balanced out with a super clean restroom. Our toddler needed a full outfit change by the time we hit Hutch so honestly that was exactly what we needed. read more

Honestly this was the worst Starbucks experience we have ever had. We ordered a Venti Mocha Iced Coffee and they gave us a Venti Mocha blended with 2 shots of expresso and no milk. Really strong and really nasty. The second drink we ordered a Small blended Caramel Frappe with an extra shot of expresso and we didn't get the extra shot of espresso it was really runny and had no flavor. i grew up in a place where the closest starbucks was an hour away so i had starbucks maybe twice but since moving here and learning i worked literally 5 minutes away i started trying new drinks and i love everything! the drinks are always so yummy and the staff is so so sweet especially one of the staff members with yellow hair, they're so kind to me every time i go in and i appreciate them so much. i definitely recommend this location for not only good drinks but amazingly sweet and lovely staff read more

I overheard Beck the Barista down talking to a coworker & talking behind their backs while I was eating. The coffee was excellent & the ambiance was perfect but after hearing all that it kind of ruined my appetite and made me feel bad for the other customers who had to hear that nonsense. I thought one of the benefits to Starbucks was being able to get refills on your coffee but once you leave the store they won't give a refill. Other stores are more accommodating for refills on your coffee so I suggest going elsewhere. read more

Starbucks in Hutchinson isn't great. The coffee is never consistent. Last time I ordered a chestnut praline latte and it just tasted like unsweetened hot milk. Not to mention, I waited 40 minutes inside for my drink. Scooter's is the place to go in this area if you want good coffee and exceptional service. read more

Probably one of my favorite places to go. Always such friendly staff. I always get a "hello" when I walk in, and a "have a nice day" when I leave! When searching for the little pick me up, Starbucks is my place to go. I live on that stuff and I'm probably picking up a mobile order 3-4 times a week. I have been a consistent customer for some time to the point where many of the employees knew me by name & new my orders before looking at my mobile tickets. Now, there's not as many familiar faces which is understandable & not the issue by any means. Today I went in to pick up my mobile order as I do often. They were pretty busy so I waited a moment before going to the counter & requesting some cream cheese for my bagel. The worker immediately seemed frustrated and annoyed by my request. She told me for future reference that the cream cheese was extra so I needed to be sure and ring it up in the app. I've never been told that, or have had this confrontation. She said I cannot expect them to just give me cream cheese for my bagel because I need to pay for it. I was really thrown off by this as again, this has never been a issue or conflict within my many times picking up and being a customer. I understand mornings are crazy, but this employee made it a scene and made me feel very uncomfortable. I apologized and offered to pay the difference which she denied and had other employees come over as well. I ran into another customer later today who just happened to also be in the establishment this morning, a complete stranger. This person brought up the incident to me and continue to express how mad that employee seemed to be. I love coffee as much as the next person, especially being a regular somewhere. Just highly disappointed in the customer service and how those are treated, whether you go in daily, weekly, or monthly. This interaction was completely unnecessary. read more

I've been going here off and on for the past year as it is the only Starbucks in town. It is the worst Starbucks I've been to in over 15 states. The Pike coffee is either frequently burnt or completely out (even at 10AM which is NOT acceptable). This morning (Oct. 29, 2018) was the last straw: At 6AM I wanted a sausage, cheddar, and egg sandwich. They didn't have any. They also didn't have enough Pike Place for two coffees, just one. I'm absolutely SICK of this Starbucks. It needs to get bulldozed and replaced with a Peets or Stumptown. read more

I am originally from St. Louis but visit this Starbucks when I'm in town. More often than not it's incredibly slow and something is wrong with my drinks. For how much you pay for a drink this really shouldn't happen and they aren't a new store anymore. The first day i visited they were really slow in the drive thru for not having much business but the employee was really nice and i wasn't in a hurry. Today was pretty much a disaster. I came in and ordered just two drinks an iced latte and espresso macchiato. There was a mobile order of ten drinks that came in front of me and the barista wouldn't make any drinks for in house until she was finished with those. There were other employees not very busy and she didn't alert anyone that she needed a hand or ask a manager for assistance. It took 20 minutes for me to get two simple drinks and my macchiato was just a double shot. I explained to her i needed foam on top to make it a macchiato. She started making me a new one which i told her i just needed her to put foam on top so i could leave. She asked, are you sure? And then dumped a bunch of milk on top making it a latte. I just took the drink and left and immediately called the manager as i was trying to make a three hour drive under a time crunch. He apologized and found my order and refunded me my money which was great. That's why i gave them two stars instead of one for service recovery. They are the only drive thru coffee in town i believe so go here in a hurry but make sure you taste and double check your order before you leave. read more

Hutch is really blessed to have such an AWESOME starbucks! The facility itself is wonderful; always clean, hip, comfy (they just recently remodeled with some new comfier furniture) and has LOTS of cute retail items that make great gifts. The atmosphere they've created is sooooo relaxed, condusive to friendly chats or informal business meetings (have several tables and one large one for big groups). The staff at our Starbucks is top-notch too! They are always perky and friendly (some times too much so, when it's early in the morning), knowledgable and prompt. I go rather often, most of the staff know my "usual" orders and make great drinks! My only two areas that I wish they would improve upon: 1) making the drinks more consistent as far as taste goes (some times the same drink can taste different, depending on who makes it) and 2) if they could increase their menu to include vegan items. read more

Starbucks is my absolute favorite place for coffee, I highly recommend the caramel frap! The baristas are super friendly and nice! It is also nice that the Starbucks is right where all the shopping in Hutchinson is, so after you go to Target you can go grab a coffee!! read more
