It was just ok, maybe even a bit dry, and also on the thin side. Not thick and fluffy. My tea was just a tea bag from Four O'clock Teas (I got Turmeric Cinnamon, which at least is a more unusual flavour that I haven't seen in stores). The temperature was nice and hot, but it was just bagged tea from a brand sold in health food stores. The inside of the cafe is nice. We sat in the front room near the service counter, but there are back rooms that are a bit more quiet. I would say the ambiance is the nicest thing. Service was pleasant. Maybe some of their other baked goods have more oomph and maybe their crafted drinks are special. My experience was just ok, but it might have been what I ordered. We differed on our bagel choice with my wife picking cinnamon raisin and I chose cinnamon French toast. Both bagels were delicious and well made and the sandwiches were tasty just would likely ask for either lighter maple syrup or none next time. Made quite a mess and made it a bit too sweet but no real complaints. We were happy to try this spot out and would be a spot we would frequent if we were local! The treats were so very good. The peanut butter icing on the brownie was a little too sweet for my taste but omg still so tasty. The raspberry in the parfait was also too sweet (for our taste) but again, the flavor was SO good. I could not believe how tasty all these things were. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for something sweet and gluten free. It's so hard to get a really good gluten free treats around here and this is the place you can get them! This was really just a suggestion of nachos. But for $15, I would've expected something more quality. Perhaps if I had gotten a coffee and a pastry and played a board game this place would've been the bees knees. I would not suggest it unless it's the only thing open which on this Sunday in Potsdam, which it was. Update: I just read the other reviews for this place. I should've read them prior to coming as I would have looked elsewhere. They really should do better. It could be a wonderful spot. The menu is extensive.
