Up in the area visiting family and wanted to try a spot for coffee and breakfast that wasn't a massive fast food chain. This was perfect location wise just being a short distance from our hotel. Getting into the area early Saturday morning meant tons of street parking so that was no issue. Stepping inside they have plenty of seating and I can imagine it would be a perfect spot to study for college classes for the students. The space was open and felt inviting. Service was friendly and quick with no issues. One worker taking care of drinks while another worked on the food with the one more free taking orders. They have most of what you would expect a coffee spot to have drink wise for both coffee and teas with seasonal and special flavors too. Food wise they have loads of breakfast and lunch bagel sandwich options with a good variety of bagel flavors to change it up as well. Drink wise my wife got their pumpkin latte seasonal and loved it, while I got the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte that was solid once mixed a little more. Food wise we both liked the sound of their Lumberjack that came with two eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, and a maple syrup drizzle. We differed on our bagel choice with my wife picking cinnamon raisin and I chose cinnamon French toast. Both bagels were delicious and well made and the sandwiches were tasty just would likely ask for either lighter maple syrup or none next time. Made quite a mess and made it a bit too sweet but no real complaints. We were happy to try this spot out and would be a spot we would frequent if we were local! Good drinks and tasty bagels with really endless choices for sandwiches when you consider all the bagel choices. If you want a bagel meal if you are in the area check this place out! read more

What a wonderful cafe to work from two days in a row. Delightful workers, clean spaces with a variety of seating options, free Wifi, and good snacks and drinks. I came out to work here since I had to travel a ways from my home to pick up a prescription still at a nearby Walgreens. I found Park Bros on Yelp, so I'm paying it forward. My experience was so good that I know I will return anytime in the area. Street parking is limited and for only two hours, but there's a nearby bank (one or two blocks away) that had a fairly large parking lot I was able to use. read more

Outstanding all around. Went in to get a cold brew and had to get a chocolate chip scone as well! Had lots of baked goods to choose from and all looked delicious! The cold brew was just what I expect from a cold brew, smooth! Very spacious inside and just a friendly feel! We each ordered a signature bagel sandwich, one Buffalo Chicken and one Chicken Pesto Cordon Bleu, attractively priced at $7.95 and $8.95. Both were very tasty, but too much food for us; had we known, we would have ordered only one and each eaten half. We would drive over to Potsdam when I was up here for college..most of the kids at my college were so antiseptically whitebread I'm firmly convinced many of them (even some from larger metros) never had a bagel in their lives. These weren't Lox Stock and Bagels (West Hartford CT) by any stretch, but going to college in East Jesus/Pigsknuckle NY meant a delight in seeing these things without having to drive to Kettlemans in Ottawa or Montreal. The Bagelry is a nice place to relax and have a light meal. I stated in Canton three days and went to the Bagelry for three days. The bagels are a perfect size and are not too doughy. The bagel and lox sandwich for $9.99 comes with a nice amount of Atlantic smoked salmon, capers and diced white onion. This place was not too busy this time of the year. I imagine during the school year this is a popular place for students looking for their bagel fix. The one thing I would recommend to the Bagelry is to have a larger variety of drinks. Full of some of the worst patrons I've ever seen, this place is an overpriced and depressing excuse for an eatery. Skip the Canton spot and head over to Potsdam. A pleasant surprise. These are real New York City bagels in the middle of downtown Canton. The bagels are done in the New York City style of water / baking. A little light on the crumbly toppings perhaps, but quite delicious. The coffee is as strong as I would expect to get in Queens or Brooklyn. The people behind the counter are very pleasant, friendly even, which isn't at all like my favorite New York City places, but very welcome! Definitely worth a visit. read more

After getting good news at a doctor's appointment, I decided to treat myself to a trip to the Bagelry. The extremely nice guy working the counter could tell I was obviously overwhelmed by the choices, so he helped me find what I wanted. I got a breakfast bagel with sausage,egg and cheese on a whole wheat everything bagel. That with a large coffee was just about ten dollars. Ouch! But this sandwich was probably the best breakfast sandwich I've had. This is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy your food. Obviously they're playing to the SLU students who have a bit more extra money in their pockets, but it's a nice treat for us locals too. read more

Delicious bagels! My wife is from NJ and these bagels are as close as we've gotten outside that area. The staff here is really nice, and on top of that it is one of the best designed spaces in town. Beautiful wooden bar and nice tables/chairs. They always have plenty of space to sit and hang out, or you can call ahead and have your bagel ready for pickup if you're in a rush. They also have great coffee, which is always a plus when you're eating bagels! The only downside is that some sandwiches are not as good as others, and sometimes they can be a little greasy. Good food but very slow service and pretty expensive. They should definitely work on training their employees better on efficiently and consistency. I order the same simple chicken salad bagel sandwich almost every time and sometimes it will be great while other times it'll have half the amount of chicken salad just in the middle leaving a 1-inch border all the way around with nothing on it. For the time and money spent, it would be nice to get a consistent product because when it's done well it can be absolutely delicious. And I would have recommended calling ahead to shorten your wait time except they often don't answer the phone even when it's not busy at all. read more

OK, I feel bad not giving more stars, but stars are earned. My bagel was tasty, I had a turkey sandwich, bacon, tomato, the works. We (3) were the only customers and it took a surprising long time to get the order in which was written down on paper - then read to another worker who inputted it to the ipad, then the first girl turned and prepared each bagel sandwich, one at a time - starting from scratch each time - instead of toasting ALL at once, etc... the egg sandwich bagel was served with a pickle, unusual, but not unpleasant. The biggest problem was the FLIES ... flies everywhere. My daughter couldn't eat because she needed one hand to swat flies - THATS how bad. and the girls behind the counter didn't seem to act like this was an isolated infestation. Other than the flies and the slowness, the place is beautiful, they really have potential - fix the flies issue - add more tables and speed up service - I really wanted to come back and try more menu - but was voted down. read more
