I honestly had the best experience at the Starbucks in Mercedes, Texas, located at 3839 E. Expressway 83. My boyfriend and I stopped by late at night, close to 11:00 p.m., and Izzie (Isaias) provided some of the best customer service we have experienced in a long time. He took our order with a smile, laughed with us, and had such a positive attitude. It was almost 11:00 at night, and even after what was probably a long shift, he still made us feel welcomed and valued. We definitely need more people like him! The Starbucks in Mercedes Tx 3839 East expressway 83 has the absolute best baristas! The location is always clean the service prompt! And the drinks are always delicious! Today Jesus who always greets us with a warm smile went out of his way to find us some last agave packets which my husband loves as it compliments his Citrus mint tea! Starbucks located within the Outlets. Very fast paced location. The baristas who took my order did ask if I wanted to use some of my stars, I haven't been asked that in a couple years, so that was kinda nice. I'm a star hoarder so I passed. I ordered a new drink, mocha almond milk something. I didn't like it so that sucked. We didn't drink it and ended up pouring it out. I have nothing to base the drink on either since it was my first time at this location. read more

Disappointed by this location what I ordered was not what I wanted and the attitude from the barista did not help. I told her exactly what I wanted never once did she ask me what size I told her I wanted a venti and got a grande. Then she asked if this was a separate drink...... It'd be no stars if possible, The manager long story short, name is Peter (Pettigrew) just kidding, but his name was Peter so I was told. There was an incident where an employee told me I was "banned for life" and not to return or they would be calling the police. They then called security and had them escort me out although security told me I could stay on the Outlet Mall premises, just not the store. After a few calls I was assured by a higher management that nothing would happen and I was not banned at all and allowed to purchase or pick up any orders made. This Peter character is a crude-ass of a man who gets off on throwing his weight around. Mr. Peter, this is your job, not your actual life, I understand you at a 0% rate. Furthermore, I arrived after creating a mobile order, he walked up to me and stated I need to leave and I said not without my items, he then replied I "have permission" to take them (well no shit, I paid for them, Taste of gold card or cash, it's been paid Mr. Peter.) He then continued to say if I returned he would call the police. He then walked away and I had to call after him and he continued to ignore me until I told him, " you're just going to tell me something and then walk away without acknowledging me?". He rolled his eyes and turned around and then I asked him, "what are you banning me for, why are you banning me from this store?" Might I add that there were customers in the store, and needless to say all eyes were on me. He then said nothing, other than the same remark of "leave and if you come back I'll call the cops". *sigh* It never ends with this Peter character. Just another harassing day, harassment after harassment and if I had the option and unlimited supply of gas I'd go any other place but alas, I'll not let this man intimidate me from enjoying my freedom as an "American" better yet a HUMAN BEING. Try this again good sir and I'll charge you with harassment, since you want to involve the police and security so much we can bring them and waste all our time but I'll make sure it ends there good sir. And honestly I gave no nasty names or blew any steam in each situation, no sorry of anger or attitude, no type of hostility merely compliance from my end. The first visit they wanted my name and phone number for whatever reason, I unlocked my phone to give them my alternate (Bullshit) phone number and then locked it, then the barrista member said, "oh whatever photos you took you're going to have to delete them" blah blah. Anyways, I told her I didn't and she retorted that "she saw my screen". And I'll squash this now, I have an iPhone 6S Plus, yes I have a big screen, to which I purchased a GLASS PRIVACY SCREEN PROTECTOR to accommodate it, meaning it has a 360 view protection, only way to see it is to face it directly and away from glares. In other words you won't see a darn thing, I know because I myself have issues seeing the screen when it's bright outside but hey obviously it came in handy. That being said, there's no way in hell she saw anything and even if she did my screen was not facing her and I took no photographs or anything for that matter. I told her I only unlocked my phone to give her the number. Honestly, maybe these people just wanted me to flip out and make me look like a loose cannon. That's when she said she was going to call security. So they had no proof, just a mere vain and self-centered assumption that I "took photos of her". No girl, I got 64GB Of memory on my phone and still wouldn't spare a 1KB on you. Even at that, you need to have a disclaimer (sign) stating No one can take photography or videos within the premises that is Starbucks, ONLY then are you free to Ban anyone violating that obvious and public disclaimer. Smoke shops have them, Spencers has them, which is why they can sue your ass. Get your shit together Peter, it helps to know where you stand, I read your Starbucks policy after our incident; but have you? whenever you want to sit down with me, we can take turns reading your store policy, you have my Information Mr. Peter; coffees on you though. If anything Starbucks or Mr. Peter to be exact is solely responsible in attempting to violate my rights as an individual and also my privacy by bombarding me with questions and interrogating me about my online orders CONSTANTLY as it seems. Look Peter, you're a manager, manage your shit, and leave the investigating to investigators alright. *sigh* It'd have been nice if you would've just talked to me as a civilized human being, but alas for every action there is an equal yet opposite reactions.
