This is as close as the "real" thing! They imported a special machine that able to make a fresh baked Danish dough with no less than 27 melt-in-your-mouth layers. 27 layers! One bite is all you need, specially you love how light and flaky it is! We got 6 different ones to try. They were so good and we finished 3 on the spot and I just kept staring at them when I got home as I just want to have them all right away. I already request to have a stop next time when I am in the area or just make a special detour. They are just that good! PS. There are a few small tables only, so most people order for take out. Do expect a bit of a queue, but it's worth it! They have a big menu, and amazing options. Especially taro ones and also drinks from the Cozy Cozy section with ginger in it because I'm a big ginger fan!

One time when I came by there was a table that was reserved by the Starbucks staff as an activity table for seniors. That day it was for adult colouring which was a nice community touch. While waiting for my order to be made, I observed two baristas chasing a bee that made its way into the store. This went on for about five minutes and then these same ones began to make my drink. They were out of whipped cream and needed to make some. Truthfully, it was incredibly annoying to be asked if I wanted whipped cream with the undertone that them having to make it would be an inconvenience to them. Though they were apologetic, my wait could have been cut in half had the two baristas didn't spend time chasing a bee.

The eggs were made to perfection (runny but not overly so) & the Angus portion had lots of onions. This was a delicious breakfast. I asked for the potatoes to be over fried & they were & equally as delicious. The only minor issue was the meal wasn't hot enough. Around the edges the food was even a bit cool. The men's washroom was well cared for, properly equipped & clean. In the dining area there was a small issue with house flies. This could EASILY move to a 5-star. Get rid of the flies & make the food hotter. Otherwise this was a positive dining experience. It's a do-over.

I normally get the Rosemary bagel but this time I went with a classic everything bagel. The cream cheese is delicious on it's own, but throw in fresh smoked salmon, red onion and dill - it's unreal! Looking back on my photos, it doesn't seem like there is much filling inside. I can assure you the cream cheese: other ingredient ratio is equal and even! I am always full and satisfied after eating their bagels. Definitely comparable to Montreal style.
