This Starbucks location is very convenient, as it is close to the subway. It is also spacious and clean, with a lot of staff members. I ordered the Bacon-style turkey, cheddar, and egg white sandwich. It tasted okay, but it's a bit pricey, and I don't think it's worth the price. I came here this morning for a cup of coffee before my half day of remote work. This location is right around the corner of the North York Centre, where my hotel is located. It's super convenient in terms of distance, and the lines were moving quickly. There were at least 10 people in here this morning as I grabbed my coffee fixing. I took 1 star off because I couldn't order ahead in my Starbucks app. I'm not sure why because the staff did ask patrons if they did mobile order or not. They also fulfill UberEats orders too. I was the 3rd person in line though, and I was able to redeem my stars this morning for a free coffee. I didn't have to provide my name, they just used it off of my Starbucks account which I can appreciate. My order was perfect, a venti iced caramel macchiato is my go-to and they respected my desire for light ice so my drink isn't watered down. I was pretty much in and out. I was able to make it back to my hotel with plenty of time to spare. I'd recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for coffee. read more

I visited this Starbucks earlier today and was surprised at how big it has gotten. It used to be a really small location and now this location is huge! This location is long and narrow with a decent sized patio for guests who would like to sit outside. My friend and I placed our orders and received our drinks shortly after. I accidentally ordered a matcha latte over ice instead of a frappuccino and the barista was more than happy to fix my order and blend my drink for me. All over, I will definitely return to this Starbucks when I'm in the area. The service is quick and the baristas are really friendly. read more

Even though the lines are usually very long here, it moves quickly. They keep the place well staffed, particularly in the morning. One of the interesting things about this Starbucks location is the relatively low staff turnover rates. The head office of Starbucks Canada is in the office tower above this, and there is a Starbucks training centre on site. I imagine that has a lot to do with the relative quality of the staff here. Many of the staff remember my drink and greet me by name. One downside that other reviewers have mentioned is the high-schoolers who hang out all day and take up all the seating. It's basically their study spot. On that note, if they're doing one of their promotions where they do 2 for 1 frappucinos or something from 2:00-5:00, I steer clear. Everybody swarms it, particularly the previously mentioned high schoolers, resulting in a line up that stretches out the door. Those frappucinos take a long time to make, too, so you won't served quickly in those situations. I don't think the staff like those promotions, either. Do not park in the no parking zones out front. The parking police move like lightning here. I see people getting towed before they can get in, get a coffee, and get out. read more

I love this starbucks. In high school, my friend and I would hang out here after school studying for SATs ALL THE TIME (if we weren't at Ajisen or 168 down the street, haha). I also come here a lot just randomly because I live close by. I have watched this Starbucks service crew go from a High School Co-Op placement level of service to the Beatles after Hamburg level of service. That's a good thing. Maybe it's the adherence to Malcolm Gladwell's "10000-Hour Rule" (hopefully not the case) but they are one of the tightest run Starbucks in the city. 80 percent of the time I don't even have to request my drink, they have it in my hand before I hit the cash register. How do you review something as ubiquitous as Starbucks? Since there is absolutely no point describing their menu, I'll focus on things that are unique to this particular store. It's a busy location, just on the south side of the North York City Centre / north end of the Mel Lastman Square. Lots of foot traffic here. When I came in, there was a bit if a line. Two cash registers were open and they had one of their staff walking down the line asking if anyone was ordering a latte or any other fancy drinks so that they could start those for you before you'd even reach the cash register (smart idea -- very efficient). Thanks to that, the line was moving very fast. Given how busy it was, you couldn't find a table there. However, most people didn't plan on staying anyway. They were coming in and leaving with a drink in their hand, off to wherever they were going before. It was a warm day and you could sit on the patio outside. The table situation on the patio was certainly better. read more

Probably one of my favorite Starbucks locations one been to. Though like most coffee shops there is limited seating inside and outside there's still plenty of room to sit along the ledges/sides as is right beside North York Centre where you can sit back along th Both Iriana and I decides to take a break from the hussle and bussle of the annual hispanofest going on at Lastman Square and have a cup of Caffeine......... and a fudge oat brownie lol. Iri had the usual frappucino meanwhile I just ordered their tall blonde red eye (with a shot of espresso)...... after minutes of waiting for Iriana in the restroom lineup I couldn't resist the fudge brownie hence I went back to order it haha. .. yea I'm a piggy with needs!! The service is fast and friendly and the overall vicinity is clean and presentable. However the only drawback was the fact it was a long line for the restroom, and the layout of how close it was to the main counter. I came here with a co-worker who was looking for a special, limited edition brand of Starbucks coffee. For a few minutes I watched as the employee went out of her way to find the coffee and bag it specifically for my co-worker. While there was a good bit of extra effort involved in this exchange, the service was excellent. The other employees stepped it up so that our transaction did not hold up the line. I'm a huge fan of Starbucks and probably get at least one cup of coffee/latte a day. Just wanted to write a review for this one as this location is one of the busiest I've encountered with a line up all the way to the entrance. If you just want to hang out, read a book or work, I'd not recommend this location as it's always busy and packed. Plus, there are virtually no power plugs and limited seating available. I work in this building, so I come here every morning to get my caffeine fix. The line is normally to the door at rush hour (which is any time before 10:30am), but the friendly staff take orders from the line so that your order is ready by the time you get to the front to pay. They never get my order wrong, the counters are always clean and the milk jugs are always full. What more can you ask for from a Starbucks? Oh, maybe some couches. Oh well. The baristas here are lovely ppl and very accommodating, and the drinks are always made right. The only problem is the limited seating but I just grab my frap and head to the library nearby. In contrast, I'd advise that ppl avoid the Bayview Village location if possible. The baristas there are rude to so many of their customers, water down drinks, turn on the AC even when it's cold outside (to get ppl to leave) and often mess up orders. I'd definitely come to this location instead if it had more seats. read more
