Hmmm, I ordered my normal cold brew coffee - but steamed, like I've done dozens of times in Flagstaff, PHX, Missoula and on 22nd and this Starbucks said no, he wouldn't steam the cold brew, he would steam the milk, but not the cold brew... Unbelievable, how is steaming coffee detrimental to the steamer? I have visited this location many times and would probably consider myself a regular, but today's experience definitely prompted this review. I was having just an absolutely terrible day. Just one of those days where things are going wrong left and right. So I decided to get myself a treat as a little pick-me-up... Not even 10 feet away from my front door after picking up my drink, I trip over a rock on the sidewalk and take a pretty nasty fall, scraping my knee and dropping my drink I only got to enjoy 2 sips of. I fell so hard the cup split in half on impact, there was no saving it. God pointed his finger at me and laughed and my day was officially ruined. Melodramatics aside - I picked myself up, cleaned my knee, and I was okay. But I was devastated about losing the drink I just bought, having paid extra for some special add-ins and I was very much looking forward to relaxing and drinking it at home. I gave the place a call, explained the situation, planning to ask if they would be willing to make me a fresh one that I could go back and pick up again. It is 100000% my own fault I lost my drink, and I made sure to admit that, but the kind barista that answered the phone happily offered to remake it for me before I could even make my request. She even asked me if I was okay (I told her about my embarrassing fall and scraped knee, probably overshared a little bit about my day if I'm being honest. Sorry!) And told me I could come grab my replacement drink whenever I was available. That was pretty awesome of her. Day no longer ruined! Very very kind of her to be willing to do that for me. This is my go-to Starbucks - they always just get it right! The staff is friendly, the variety of food and dessert options are on point and it's a great place to catch up, whether it's with a friend or solo. I also like the outdoor seating (when it's not too hot). read more

I have only gone through the drive thru here, but this new location (2022), is right by my home. The staff is friendly. In fact, I'd say this location stands out because the staff are exceptionally engaging and friendly. This is our place to go right after the gym on the weekends. we're usually there Saturday or Sunday morning a 6 AM. My husband loves their white mochas, and they make our drinks perfect every time. Since it's new, the outside is clean and easy to get through without too much hassle, which getting out of the El Con location is always congested. This is my favorite Starbucks spot. read more

Came in to fill my water up and was denied. We live in Arizona...it's illegal to deny water. Absolutely ridiculous

When I walked into the establishment, it had a really nice vibe with windows all around for a great lighting. The lighting is wonderful here. This Starbucks location is fairly new and feels open and airy and refreshing . This brings me to want to study in here. They have a nice amount of separate setting and makes it inviting to me. They have where you can plug in your electronic. They were super busy, and not much greeting from the staff. Not in a bad way, they are just super busy with all of us Starbucks fans or guzzlers. First Off @Yelp thank you for you & this platform I have realized lately that it is a space for every day people to truly help with making the world a better place by sharing there experiences of people, places, and things. Love you Yelp! I believe this was the Starbucks I was at this morning ... I've come here a few times and the baristas have always been so sweet! Like they could be actors & actresses for a Starbucks commercial even! Lol! The way they interact with each other etc is just beautiful and sweet. The vibe in this Starbucks as a customer is very nice as well! But today I saw something that saddened me. A customer, who I picked up on as being slightly erratic and also creepy... as I could tell a few times that he was staring at me out of the corner of his eye, and a few times he completely turned around to look directly at me as I was working on my laptop... But you know overall harmless even if annoying. I specially hear him tell the male Barista take your time, I'm in noooo rush at allll. I remember this specifically because honestly in my mind I was like plz hurry up and make this man his coffee so he can leave & stop being creepy lol but I digress. He went up to the bar, picked up a coffee I guess was not his and the barista professionally told him, "sir that's not your coffee" and the he snapped. He very rudely, loudly, and cuttingly - mentioned he had been waiting and that it tasted like S*** I just heard him say take as long as you want... He stormed out then. The vibe of the cafe changed and I could tell other customers besides myself felt concerned... afterwards a few of us including myself consoled the barista he spoke too but the consolation was also for all of them. I think the manager should look into having this customer banned from this location as he seemed like a very erratic, agitated, and irritable man- also perhaps a bit unstable because he specifically said he's in no rush.... But yelled at them for the wait time for his drink... ?? Thank you again Yelp for your platform. I myself will for sure begin using it more to expose disappointing people and things, who simply can be & do better. I encourage everyone else who uses this app to use their voice to do the same. The time for human behavior & interactions like this to end, is Now. Love & Light to that customer & to this Starbucks Team. Note: This same female barista later had an instance at the cash register where another male barista was strongly speaking to her (the male barista the angry customer enthusiastically assured he was in no rush) I think she was correcting him on a coffee price, and she was correct about her correction....................... I recommend a manager speak to both of them about it. This happened just a few moments after she basically was verbally abused by the angry customer. I am sure this girl was rattled and maybe deep down even a bit frightened from the mean energy that angry customer (full grown large man) sent her (as a customer I was!) - no way then one of her own teammates should be having a strong moment with her just a few mins later... Compassion & Empathy. This was disappointing to see. But I do also think everyone was a bit thrown off by that incident and the energy of it. The next time this customer comes in, if he is not banned, I recommend you all don't even use any of your beautiful energy to engage with him... july 31st around 1030 this morning i went to go get a coffee and a sandwich thru the drive thru , got my coffee, no sandwich, because somehow before 11am they ran out of their tomato and mozzarella sandwich? the young lady at the window and taking orders wasn't the nicest and claimed " they were out for the day". its not even noon? not to mention the espresso/ coffee grounds in the bottom of my iced white mocha,that honestly DONT taste good. i came to get two things and they didn't have one, and the other was gross. very disappointed and i wouldn't come here again. read more

Came here for nitro cold brew. Took them over 5 minutes to say hi despite there being the only person to be in line. I asked how long my nitro cold brew will take. They told me 4-5min. Waited 15minutes to be told that my nitro cold brew was going to take another 30 min. So I asked for refund as they told me I can get regular cold brew instead. I could've went to Starbucks across the street had I known the drink was gonna take 45min of wait. All I heard was sorry. read more
