The two I'd highlight as perhaps the most original offerings in town are the Quest Coffee Latte (it's made with protein powder) and the hot nitro brew. I personally love the hot nitro. As far as food and snacks, they always have excellent locally sourced goods. I believe they pulling treats from Mama Inez, a local Hispanic bakery and also Scones and Doyles (European bakery). The final highlight I'll mention is the space; it's huge! This coffee shop sits across two store fronts. One side gives study room/university vibes, while the other is more of a traditional shop. So if you want a quiet study area, you have it. If you want the atmosphere of a fully alive coffee shop, you've got it!

That's also where the restrooms are located. Side note: Even if you don't need to use the restroom, you should visit the restroom. It is a sight to behold. That was disappointing on its own, especially since this has been one of my favorite coffee shops and I've brought plenty of friends, neighbors, and even visiting family here to support the business. What truly drops this review to one star, however, was the shocking response I received from one of the employees. She cussed me out, yelled, flipped me off, threatened to call the cops on me, and screamed for me to never come back--all while I had my baby with me. I've never experienced such unprofessional treatment from a business. I can only hope the owner reviews the cameras from this incident and takes the matter seriously. When I asked an employee for napkins, she told me they were by the drink station. I explained that the dispensers were empty. She was in the process of making coffee for another customer and seemed flustered and annoyed, even making a face in response. I completely understand that she was busy, but since she engaged in the conversation, a simple, "I'll be right with you," or "One moment, please," would have been perfectly fine. I've been coming here for about eight years and have generally received good to excellent service, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my son to Eleventh Street Coffee Shop from now on.
