The bar tenders were attentive and on top of everything. Seems like a cool place to catch a game. Very nice patio with lots of misters to keep you cool. Fate Brewing Company may not be my absolute favorite in the state, but somehow I always end up having a really good time here. The space is big, open, and great for groups. The beer is decent and reliable, nothing that completely blows my mind, but solid enough that everyone can find something they like. Food-wise, the pizza and fish & chips are both decent. They're satisfying, comforting, and good companions to a pint. What really stands out is the vibe. Every time I come here, the experience is fun. Easygoing, social, and no pressure. My co-workers also found Fate Brewing Company to be perfectly satisfactory, which honestly feels like a win in a group setting. Not the top of my AZ craft beer list but a place I enjoy and keep coming back to.

Food options are all around, while you're able to indulge in some food trucks, bring in your own, or free popcorn in the corner that has so many spices to choose from to top add. My fave is the Ole Bay. Cans to go are available as well. To top off this amazing experience, the service is suuuuper friendly! Always looking to come back even if I live right down the road!!

The L-shaped bar seats 15 people and there are six high tops that seat six people, three picnic tables outside for eight people each, and a long couch inside for four people to chill. My beertender was very friendly and accomodating. He gave my dog Hansel a bowl of water and a biscuit. This is a very dogfriendly taproom. Both beers I had were very tasty. My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.

While it's not in the heart of Old Town, it's within walking distance. We stopped by on a Thursday around 9:30 p.m. While we were on foot, I noticed that they have a parking lot. Ambiance (4/5): Relatively small for a brewery, but your typical chill, brewery vibes. They have some seats at the bar, some high tops, and a small patio. We sat out on the patio since the weather was nice. The seats out there are a bit uncomfortable, but we couldn't pass up on patio weather. They have free water in the corner which is always a plus so you don't have to wait in line. Service (5/5): The bartender working was super nice. It's always appreciated when servers go above and beyond in providing a great experience. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more in my service experience at Goldwater. He exceeded my expectations. Food (N/A): I already ate previously so no food for me. There was a Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Drinks (4/5): I love trying local brews. At breweries, I typically get a flight so I can try out a variety of beers. This time though, I went with a pint. I couldn't say no to the Sour Rangers. I grew up watching the Power Rangers, so that was all the motivation I needed. An added bonus was that this beer is a sour. Not something you have every day, nor a style of beer that you come across very often. So I had to take advantage of the opportunity. And it was a good one. Goldwater is my type of place. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

Goldwater has indoor and outdoor seating options. It was a warm day so we sat inside at the hi-top. I didn't see food options available but it is located next to a few restaurants. My husband and friend enjoyed their beer flights and since I don't drink beer, I was happy to see a cooler with wine and other options such as white claw, etc. the beer was poured directly from the fermenter tank. The staff were very friendly and explained they had to open the wine bottle and make the first pour which was fine with me. We look forward to coming back in the near future.
