They want the money fast, but when it's time to return your deposit, all of the sudden they have 21 days to do so, and then a lot of things magically appeared that somehow it was YOUR fault. You can know and say all you want but they will say they can't see it on their photos so therefore they have to take it from your deposit money. So make sure you have PROOF or else you won't get your money back. BE CAREFUL when you are working with them, they are helping managed but suck at it. Because it's the renter or the owner's fault BUT this company. They say they pulled out the photos and it was fine back when we moved in. Prospective buyers told us they were unable to reach her or they were told by her that the home was already under contract, which it was not. We referred several interested persons to her, but she never brought any of them to see the home. When we questioned this, she claimed her phone was not working. She would often break down in tears, telling us how mean other clients were to her - a manipulation to gain sympathy. Karen told us from the start that she knew to whom she would sell our home, even though it was out of their price range. She was also in charge of the sale of that party's home, but in order to make the sale happen within their budget she continually criticized our home in order to force us to lower the price. We resisted. She came out at one point and asked us "what do I have to do to get you to move!" During an Open House we over-heard her telling one couple that the home had issues and she "had a better home for them." Another time a lady came to tour the home and asked us where the "water damage" was! There was no water damage but they insisted they were told by Karen that the home had water damage. How this broker continues to receive such a good rating is beyond us, when we can produce an abundance of neighbors, all of whom are upset with her tactics. The real estate business is complex and there is sometimes a fine line between ethical and unethical conduct in the course of selling homes and of course, these things can be difficult to prove. Putting such an important asset in the hands of someone who may or may not be trustworthy is very risky. We did not have the heart to tear up the contract and fire her on the spot. If we could go back in time, we would find the courage to do exactly that. We still feel traumatized by our experience with her.

Agents are not allowed to publish "city park " photos that are not "HOA" parks for private use, and adding landscape and grass to a bare yard are also apparently considered off-limits with Metrolist, even with actual and stage-labeled pics in succession! Todds Foto folks took all these photos for us at their choice, and we had to remove those mentioned after receiving a warning from Metrolist. Our MLS says you can stage, but not enhance your photos :-) Lesson learned!
