The highlight of my trip to Savannah! Could literally spend hours in there. It's like a museum, arcade and arts activity center hehehe. To be specific, there's a claw machine, mini arcade game (bring quarters), make your own station plus games and cloths to buy. The vibes and aesthetic were everything!! The girl at the front was super sweet and chill too!
This is such a cute boutique with so many fun items from local crafters! They also have ice cream and boba! While I shopped, my fiancé got an ice cream in a cute to go Chinese take out box! He said it was delicious! I recommend checking this place out for cute souvenirs, aesthetics and supporting local!
Cute little shop in Savannah, with lots of strange and fun items to purchase. We loved looking around the store at all the fun stuff. They also serve ice cream, which is always a nice treat on a warm day. Definitely worth checking out. Conveniently located near Starland Yard and other shops.
Loved this store! Really cute and unique finds, plus their merch is so fun! We had to try their ice cream because they have flavored cones, and we were not disappointed. I got blueberry cheesecake in a lavender cone: I liked that the lavender was subtle and complemented the blueberries. My partner got rainbow sherbet in a pink vanilla cone and said it was great. Highly recommend!
This little shop is EVERYTHING. I am SO glad my friend recommended this place to visit. It is so kitschy and eclectic. After you go up the fun painted steps into the pink house, you are met by an ice cream counter! Further in, the shop is filled with so many fun, random things. Jewelry, candy, shirts, boots, games, stickers...it's a cool spot if you need ideas on gift giving. This is a great place to stop in before grabbing a beer and hanging out across the street at Two Tides Brewing.

If I were a shop, I'd be Starland Strange and Bazaar. Just as the name suggests, it's located in the Starland District which has quickly become one of my favorite parts of Savannah. This quirky little colorful boutique and ice cream shop truly embodies the vibe of this area and it was love at first sight! They carry goods made by some local makers, fun vintage pieces, funky apparel & accessories, and even home decor. I found some of the cutest Christmas gifts for my sisters while visiting. I didn't get to try the ice cream this time, but the waffle cones and flavors all sounds amazing! Also, parking is free throughout the Starland District which is a huge plus compared to the downtown area. This shop is walkable to so many other cool spots as well.
Starland Strange is not at ALL what I expected when we approached and entered the unique shop. On Instagram, all we saw was the Instaworthy ice cream sundaes but in the store was a shop full of quirky local products and items for purchase and perusal. The inside and exterior is also just super Instaworthy and sticks out in the neighborhood! That being said, after a quick shop around, we headed straight to the ice cream counter. The lady was patient while I decided on my order. I ended up ordering the Nanner Nanner Boo Boo - Banana Pudding ice cream topped with a banana cake, nilla wafer and cookie stick. Super pretty ice cream cone that melts FAST in the summer heat so shoot your photos quickly if you're doing it for the gram! Can't wait for my next Savannah trip to try some more ice cream sundaes!

I feel a little bad in the sense that this business sells a variety of different things, but I personally am not preparing for a bachelorette party, so I came for the ice cream. What disappointed me was that a variety of specialty creations that were on the menu on their website were not in evidence upon actually visiting the store, it was just scoops of ice cream and cones. The flavored cones are a nice touch, and the matcha was noticeably bitter and tea-like, but the limited ice cream choices they had didn't blow me away (no mint available), and my deer tracks was mostly just vanilla ice cream with too few of the mixed in peanut butter cups. For a hippie place, they didn't have anything in the vegan department either. At the end, there was nothing overtly wrong with my ice cream cone, but I felt like I probably walked by better food opportunities on the way.
Love Starland Strange! It's a unique shopping experience. Well firstly they have ice cream! In a multitude of flavors. Also with many topping & cone options. And snow cones too! I love the cappuccino crunch ice cream personally. The store itself has so many items from local vendors and artists. I love supporting local. And Starland Strange does just that! You also get 20% off a Starland T-shirt when you check in on Yelp! The front of the store had a beautiful painting on the steps. It's bold and colorful just like the store itself. You walk through multiple rooms and see so many items. They got jewelry, clothing, art, and so much more!

The boutique itself has walls of earrings and fun graphic tees. It's hard to leave without buying one of everything!
A very trendy little place that serves as both a Icecream shop and a creative space. They also have the most amazing art, trinkets, glasses and random items to buy. It truly is stange and bazaar in the best way possible. Everywhere you turn there is something cool or interesting in this eclectic space. For the Icecream they actually serve it in to-go Chinese containers. So cute haha. While walking around I found the most amazing little print and a mood ring. We explored around and found that they have a nice space for creating jewelry and I'm sure they also do fun classes here. In the very back is a small game room. Our kids both won something. It was super fun to explore. Would highly recommend. read more
I had just arrived in Savannah for a long weekend and was heading to Starland for dinner so the algorithm was algorithming and showing me stuff nearby. I saw some posts of some controversy negatively affecting this local business and it looked like a cool place so we thought we would start our evening off there to support. It's definitely strange and bazaar with fun and unique offerings making it the perfect place to find a quirky gift for that perfect someone. I loved some of the shirts, but they were all tiny sizes... they said they were getting more in. I was hoping to check out the mini art print machine but it was out of order on my visit. Maybe next time will be more fruitful as it looks like a place that gets new merchandise all the time. Plus they have ice cream up front. Definitely check this place out if you're in the Starland area. read more
The first thing you'll notice when you arrive at this location is the vibrant, colorful steps leading up to a charming two-story pink building. Nestled in the heart of the Starland District, right next to Starland Yard, the owner has done an incredible job blending a little bit of everything into this space. The first floor is an eclectic mix of clothing, earrings, quirky prints, pickles wearing cowboy hats! Plus, you can grab a refreshing bubble tea or treat yourself to some ice cream or dairy-free sorbet. It's a fun, laid-back vibe, and there's something for everyone. Upstairs, you'll find an art studio offering classes in pottery, painting, knitting, and jewelry-making. It's a fantastic spot for birthday parties, girls' outings, or just a creative afternoon. The staff here are super friendly and always happy to recommend other local spots to check out. The artwork is unique, and while it's definitely one-of-a-kind, it's priced reasonably for such distinctive pieces. Starland Strange is the newest addition to the Starland District, located in an old historic house which used to be the old House of Strut location. This is the newest collab between Marguerite (Fete Chalet & Superbloom Sip Shop Make ) and Emily (Mamie Ruth). Super fun shop with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I saw that they were syncing their opening to the De Soto Street Market, so I decided to pop in and check it out with my kiddos! - Parking - Street parking and thankfully, there is still ample FREE parking in the Starland District. - Vibe - So like their name suggests, this is not a normal shop and not strange in a bad way, more like a strange funky. The gals have done a great job at laying out the space and providing more of a retail experience full of small kitschy things to beautiful clothes and old school glass bottled soda, and the old house that the shop is in, is the perfect place for it. When you walk up to it, there is a huge cinema box sign welcoming you in with a rainbow doormat. I mean, what says Welcome more than a rainbow? Just makes me smile. When you walk in, you'll go through a series of rooms so that you can peruse the different things they have to offer. Each room has a different vibe to it. There are some couches in the entrance and a small bar top area with some stools as you walk in. - TLC - Customer service is consistent to what you would get at any of the owners' other shops. Everyone is super cool and chill and super helpful. Nice bunch of peeps! - Products / Eats / Refreshments - They have t-shirts with their logo/slogan on them with a 70s vibe, lots of jeans and jean jackets. You could build yourself a Canadian Tuxedo which, strangely, is a term my husband brought to my attention haha. I may or may not have been guilty of it at one point in my younger years. There's jewelry and also more funky and delicate pieces of clothing. All fun to see! The only thing they have to consume right now is old school glass bottle sodas, as previously mentioned, and a few candy dispensers that you can dispense to your heart's content in little Chinese takeout boxes. I highly recommend the Chili gummy. Sweet and then HIYA! Hits you right in the throat! LOL I've actually never had anything like it and it was pretty spicy for a candy, but strangely, I wanted more of it! - Kiddos - They do have some cute kids apparel and of course, if you want to load them with sugar, they have all sorts of candy as previously mentioned. Just be warned and don't feed your kids the Chili gummies like I said, or else I will pray for you for the aftermath. - Heads Up - It is in an old house, with steps in front to get into the store, so if you have a stroller or are in a wheelchair, it will be a challenge. Go check them out! It's strangely cool! read more

Such a cute lil gem in an adorable neighborhood. The colors on this building were breathtaking. It took me 15 mins just to get through the entrance as there was so much to browse and buy. The back porch is a music venue used once a month which i thought was PRECIOUS. So many cool clothing items, handmade jewelry, local artists prints & of course icecream. read more

Vibe- Trendy, in the quirky Starland area. It is bright and fun. Get yourself some Gen Z cool kid vibes with funky clothing and accessories and order a huge ice cream cone to stroll around the rest of Starland area Ordered- Butter pecan in a blue corn waffle cone- the perfect mix of salty and sweet. I rarely eat ice cream cones because the flavor is just not there but they make unique cone flavors and they are so tasty. I can't wait to try all of the rest. Additional Details- Theres lots of street parking in the area! You can also create a bouquet of fresh flowers at their flower bar. read more
This lovely gourmet ice cream, upscale vintage clothing shop is the kind of place you frequent for the experience. The ice cream selections are very yummy. And when you get a flavored waffle cone with your favorite variety with all the fixings, it's kind of a work of art. The pairs and details are perfect. The shop is much larger than you think it would be. There is a spacious outside seating area that has many little outdoor "room". Kids would love to explore here. It's a great spot for families or date night. There are cute small gift items or collectibles if you aren't interested in ice cream. There are vintage clothes and a nice selection of cowboy boots. read more

Starland Strange is the cutest store I've ever been to. And to make it even better, it's also an ice cream shop! The employee working (I didn't get her name) was so sociable and kind. The back patio area was so pleasant to eat ice cream at. There are also tons of photo ops! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in Savannah :) read more

I'll say it, this was way better than leopolds. Anything with a fun flavored cone and amazing selection/toppings is amazing, but then adding a cute store to shop around in too is gold. 10/10 recommend read more
This place was such a neat find! I love finding unique shops to visit, and this one was stunning! I came here to get ice cream for my son, and we wondered through to admire their selection of clothing and accessories. They had really cute items, and such a cute setup. What a cool place in the Starland District and trust me, you can't miss it from the street! Starland Strange is a pink house with mosaic painted stairs filled with the coolest, most random things! You will love the eclectic vibe of this place as you stroll through to shop and/or grab an ice cream cone to munch on. My friend and I payed this place a visit to to their Airbnb Dress up/photoshoot experience and boy, did it not disappoint! When we arrived, we checked in with Allise, who was our stylist, tour guide, and photographer for our experience. She was super sweet and walked us upstairs to the dress up room that was filled with tons of fun clothing in all sizes and designs. I mean there was literally something for everybody! I told her I wanted sparkles and bright colors and the outfit she picked out for me was perfect! They also have tons of accessories like shoes, jewelry, hats, and sunglasses that you can use too. In between try ons, they provide champagne and sweet treats for you and your friends to enjoy. The photoshoot part lasts about 30 mins. Allise took pictures of us in front of the coolest murals in the Starland District. It was fun to walk around and see all of the art. Once finished, you receive coupons to several of the other surrounding businesses. Within a few days, you get your pics emailed to you and you have the memories forever! This is definitely an experience you will want to try! read more

Super cute place! From the outside I didn't think it was anything, but once you go I side, it's very pretty in there! So artistic and the things they sell are made from artists. Some stuff is a bit expensive but I got earrings which I think are really beautiful. They also have ice cream in there with flavored cones. The ice cream is really good! And the cones were nice and crunchy, not soft at all so you know they were new. Will definitely come back here again to see if they have any new earrings! read more

I absolutely LOVE this store! It has everything to offer including candy, ice creams and even clothes! This is my second time coming here and I am so happy I did! I fallow this store on Instagram and I saw they posted orange ice cream (which anything orange is my favorite) I immediately messaged them asking if this ice cream was going to be around or if it was just for their birthday celebration. My friends and I stopped by on a cold and dreary day but that wasn't going to stop me from having that ice cream. Let me just say that ice cream Definitely made my day! Everyone was asking me what it was and to try some. The lady who made it was super nice and gave us samples (not to me since my mind was already made up). I can not wait to go back and get more ice cream! I definitely want to go back and check out the store and get some flowers (we had plans and wasn't able to stay long but I can't wait to go back!) read more

What a cute place! Try the peppermint ice cream cone. Browse the shop, get a cute shirt and hang outside. Support female owned businesses, especially when they are this great. Way better than yet another chain or multi-site shop. read more
