Some will say it's ridiculous to not want to shop because we're not being greeted, however, being acknowledged feels like the minimum. Say shoplifting is an issue since it's right off the street, in my years of retail we were advised to give extra service to those we suspect - ask open ended questions, offer a basket, make small conversation and help them at the register. If you were wrong, the customer got good service and will recommend to others. If you were right, you detered theft. Seems simple enough! The store is big with quite a few selection, but if you miss this one, there's def more that have the same items.
