For 3+ weeks a condition of pain and stiffness was growing in my neck, shoulder and arm. I had found an excellent masseuse who could deliver temporary relief (24 - 48 hours) but the work was not eradicating the pain. And sitting at my desk at the office using a keyboard and phone was only causing more problems afterwards. Then,.... my visits to Dr. Schroeder. What a difference in both practice, approach and results. Mind you I have only had two visits. The first visit consisted of x-rays of my neck, a gentle probing and examination of my flexibiliy and strength in my neck and shoulder areas (comparing the left/good side to the right/bad side). A look at my neck vertebrae via x-ray showed some problems I won't bore you with but Dr. Schroeder went right to work. She did tapping, gentle turning, some pressures and some adjusting - I came away feeling better and with lessened pain. The second visit just 2 days later was much of the same..... and when I awoke in the morning (yes, I did get some sleep) to my delight I had near zero pain and increased flexibility. READ AGAIN: In just two 45 minute visits with some chiropractic work on my neck and shoulder Dr. Schroeder had taken me from severe discomfort and pain to near zero pain and increased flexibility. Of course, this pain-free living must continue so continued sessions are needed as I remain hopeful. How can I not be convinced to follow her recommendations for the next two weeks which will consist of two to three full deep tissue massages and continued chiropractic work? Dr. Schroeder says I will be given excercises to retrain muscles in my neck for better posture and she's confident adjustments that will decrease over time will serve as preventitive medicine for neck and shoulder pain. Life is good when it is pain free. Hooo haaaaa!

I've been lucky enough to have had two other wonderful regular Chiropractors in the past in both Florida and Canada and have visited some others occasionally as well during that time. Whenever I move to a new area, I always hope to find a Doctor that matches up to my expectations and good past experiences. Not all Chiropractors that I have been to do, but Dr. Schroeder has definitely done so! I have been visiting Health From Within monthly for at least the last 6 months now, and have found Dr. Schroeder to be very personable, knowledgeable and proficient at getting me to be 100% pain free whenever I have any back or foot issues. In addition, since I am Diabetic and have been dieting, it is great to have someone who I can also get nutrition advice from when needed. Also, the office staff has always been very good. Nothing can turn you off visiting an office quite so much as when the first person you talk to on the phone or who greets you at the front desk is less than cordial. Both Deb and Maddy at the front desk have been the nicest people you could ask for! If you are in the Dublin area, and are in need of a Chiropractor or Nutritionist, this is a very good place to come to!

He was very thorough in explaining how and why my pain may be occurring as well as talking me through where he was putting the needles and why. While I waited the 20-some minutes for them to do their thing, it was very relaxing in the room and he put a heat lamp on my feet since they were cold. I appreciated the time he spent with me afterwards in giving me a more thorough explanation of why he thought I was having these issues. As a patient, I don't usually feel like my time is valued but that wasn't the case here.

Both Dr Hensel and Craner are extremely knowledgeable and supportive, and I really appreciate how they have made me aware of many of the options available to me at their practice, but have yet to pressure me into anything I might not be comfortable with trying. Already, I have discovered many new therapies within the scope of Chiropractic care that I did not even know existed (for instance- Dr Craner successfully relieved some pain/ pressure in my abdomen that I didn't even realize was being caused by a hernia, and don't even get me started on the pressure points inside the mouth- mind blown by how affective her adjustments have been!! It was akin to taking a muscle relaxer without the side effects , immediately after the adjustment.). I canceled my appointments with him because I needed shoulder surgery and knee surgery before I could get my foot done. I also worked for a place that refused to let me have the surgery the day I had asked off, I had to reschedule because I had taken days off for the other surgeries I had to have. Now Dr Berlet will not see me or let me see anyone else at Orthopedic One Foot and Ankle Surgery . He has no compassion for what I had to go through with my other surgeries or empathy. He does not live up to his oath to be a good doctor.
