This office is extremely manipulative. They schedule everyone to come in knowing that the insurance and fees aren't squared away. On several occasions they have tried to coerce money out of me and other patients. The office is predominantly Russian service predominantly African and West Indian Americans. Need I say more? The location is also extremely out of the way as there are no major buses or trains in the immediate area. It is ALWAYS crowded and the level of professionalism is MID. I learned about this dentist after reviewing my dental insurance service providers listing. Honestly, after reading all of the poor reviews on yelp about this location I was very hesitant to try them. But after seeing that they remodeled their facilities recently I called to make an appointment in hopes that other things had changed as well. The staff member that I spoke to on the phone was friendly and knowledgeable about the dental insurance company that I had. She took my insurance information and stated that she would contact them in advance so that I would not experience a delay when I showed for my appointment. On the day of my appointment when I arrived the facility had indeed recently been remodeled and the office it self was pretty large. My wait time was longer than I expected but I did notice that there were quite a lot of people waiting before me. Once I was brought to the back I observed that there were many treatment rooms and almost all of them where filled. Outside of the treatment rooms in the back I noticed a huge room in the back where their instruments where being sterilized. I was brought to the x-ray room first were a technician took my x-rays. After that I was brought to a treatment room and while I waited calming music played in my room. After a brief waiting period my cleaning was done and I was assessed by a doctor. Implants fell out after 4 years. Took many fittings to get new dentures that are ill fitting. Told I needed laser gum treatment was given and ended up going to a professional dental surgeon because the laser work was bad. Dr. Stella is who is mostly in attendance tries to control the chaos. The conduct of the staff is loud and unprofessional. Front desk has their meals at the counter and many times I waited to be noticed. The toilet doors that face the waiting area are always open, and wastepaper baskets full and many times there is no toilet paper. I will never return or recommend anyone read more

The wait is ridiculous here, all the time every time. I blame myself because I knew this from the first time I stepped foot in the place, but somehow I kept coming back. My last visit was the definitive last visit. I set an appointment for 1 pm, got there 15-20 minutes early and still didn't get seen by anyone until after 3 pm. I get it, you have to wait for doctors and dentists, but over 2 hours is ridiculous. They don't even bother to tell apologize or seem apathetic about it. Not to mention, it's just doesn't seem like a great work environment. While I was waiting, one of the employees working the counter was visibly mad and appeared to walk out on the job. The other employees are hit or miss as far as friendliness goes. A simple hello or how are you today goes a long way, but some of their employees choose to dive right into your mouth without even verifying you're the person they should be seeing. The last straw was when a crown they put in fell out about 2 months later while I was eating. I returned thinking they would fix it since it was their work and the crown should be secure even while eating, but they told me my insurance was up for the year and they couldn't do anything about it. I'm going to be as honest as I can be and I recommend those who are wondering if they should come to this office, read this review in it's entirety. I was recommended that I come here by a family member. I want you to keep in mind that everyone may have a different experience with this office, but this was my own over the course of a year. I've visited this office at least 10 times. Out of those 10 times, I had to wait more than 45 minutes (sometimes up to 1 hour and 30 minutes) for an appointment I made 7 times out of 10. I was never late for an appointment, in fact, I would come 10-30 minutes earlier than my scheduled time and I still had to wait. Why? Because they book multiple people (sometimes up to 3) for the same time slot in an effort to squeeze in as many patients as possible. Greed! They do not respect your time, they are very unorganized, and they do not comply with personal requests. I've spent nearly $10,000 paying in private (out of pocket) and was being treated as if I did not matter. I do not feel human when I come to this office. The "cleaning" was subpar in comparison to other offices. They do not take their time because they are rushing to the next patient. I made sure to time on my phone (stopwatch) how long my cleaning took, and they were finished in 1 minute! Are you kidding me? They also tell you that you need certain things you don't need in an effort to squeeze more money out of you (things not covered by insurance). Some days the place is ran like a zoo. Staff arguing, bickering, eating at the front desk, talking with a mouthful. Absolute savagery. The lady who manages the place speaks to you as if you're a child with no sense. I decided my time here has come to an end. The dentist who worked on me did a decent job, but it was not worth the time I wasted. I'd often leave wondering why the heck I still come here. Wasted my time with 4 visits and still was unable to get the job done. 2 wrongly sized caps, 4 visits, at least 6 xrays later and I said enough is enough. Put on a temporary, give me my money back, I will find a capable dentist that actually knows what the hell they're doing and be done with this already. My son went there for services, they did nothing and gave him an appointment to come back in 2 weeks. He went back and was told they do not take his insurance. I am so glad that they don't take his insurance because dentistry is very personal and you have to be focused and on point. This dentist cares about your money and not your health. I've been here 2-3 times and everytime I go the female dentist (Nancy) has a attitude because she is overwhelmed. My experience with her for the first time was not good. She didn't even walk in and introduce herself. I have never seen the lady in my life. I went here for a wisdom tooth removal initially. The call to make the appointment was quick and simple. I even received two follow up calls the next day to confirm I was coming. When I got to the office I was greeted and signed in. After about two hours of waiting I got up to see what the hold up was. Out of the three receptionists someone forgot to give me a new patient form to fill out. After it was filled out I was called minutes later. The gentleman that took my x-rays was courteous, professional, and fast. While they reviewed my x-rays I was given a cleaning which was...interesting to say the least the lady that did it was a bit rough on the incisors. I had to tell her to take it easy at one point, I literally felt like I should of had a safety word. After seeing her handy work I will say she did a hell of a job though. Once that was done I was told I couldn't have my tooth removed. They didn't have a professional onsite to take care of it unfortunately. However I was updated on the status of my teeth which I thought could of been a lot worse and I was referred to several surgeons. Two of which are close by and take my insurance. I was even offered painkillers for the tooth but declined as I try to not be dependent on medication. All in all the visit was fine and wouldn't be anxious visiting this office again.
