I decided to go since unhealthy teeth leads to other serious health issues. After arriving to the office I was immediately put to ease. Dr. Langer took every precaution for the safety of his patients to his staff. I immediately felt completely at ease. The precautions taken for the Coronavirus safety protected everyone from the moment I walked-in to the end of my procedure. The following was what I noticed... -Front reception desk area is shielded with protective pexiglass. -You are asked to use the supplied hand sanitizer on the counter and supplied latex gloves. -Wait seating area only allowed for 3 patrons separated by recommended guidelines. -Staff are wearing their protective gear in the procedure rooms. -Dr. Langer has his N95 mask and face shield. He is using a newly acquired hepa bacterial filtered air machine with a large diameter suction tube placed next to the patient. It helped to effectively capture any droplets of oral excretion as well as scrubbing the air in the room. I felt completely safe and recommend everyone to not put off taking care of their oral health. We live in a new world. Until the discovery of a vaccine life does not stop. If everyone does their part we will remain safe and healthy. Dr. Langer did his part. Kudos! Btw...Dr. Langer was suited in a pink medical apron during my visit. Lol. This was due to the gear he was able obtain at the present moment. Safety first. Colors last. As long as it protects!

Anywho, new insurance, new dentist. Making an appointment via phone was seamless. When I walked in for my appointment on a Saturday afternoon (Saturday appointments? yes, SUPER bonus), I was instantly and warmly greeted by the receptionist. After filing out the welcome packet of info, I was promptly taken to the back area by a hygienist to complete x-rays. The facility is impeccably clean and modern. As the hygienist took my x-rays, there was a huge screen in front of my chair where I could actually see my x-rays. I've never been to a dentist that did that. My last place didn't even let you see the photos unless you asked. The hygienist was kind and gentle and explained to me each step along the way about which side and areas she would be taking x-rays of. Upon completion, I asked her about the things I saw on the x-rays; she explained what they were so simply. Following x-rays, another staff member greeted me so kindly, introduced her self, let me know Dr. Langer would be with me shortly, then setting up his tools. Dr. Langer himself, is so awesome! Not only was he thorough but he's informative. I could just tell that he's not in the profession just for the money, he's big on healthy teeth and customer satisfaction. I'm so pleased with my visit. I received an excellent cleaning and referral for braces. I can't wait to return in 6 months and recommend to others. If you are in need of a dentist, don't hesitate to visit Dr. Langer!

First, I arrived in person with severe, but manageable tooth pain and requested an appointment as soon as possible. I was given an appointment at the end of the day at the end of the week. I agreed and left, calling a few days later to confirm my own appointment. Everything was set and I arrived on the appointed day; after what seemed like a wait despite being the only person in the office, I was seen and the dental assistant asked why i was there. I told her i was here because of severe tooth pain. That was essentially glossed over and I was told I was getting a cleaning. I didn't think my paid would be ignored, but when the dentist came to examine/explain my x-rays, she stated the pain was due to cavities and I needed a root canal. I was ready to go for it but she stated that I couldn't be seen for a root canal that day due to them closing (it was 5pm at this time, the website says they close at 7pm). To say I am disgusted at the lack of care and compassion I experienced, put it mildly. I left and was determined not to return. Unfortunately, this establishment had the audacity to "follow up" and ask if I still needed a root canal, they could put me in for a next day appointment. I kindly told the person who called me that they can never call me again, I wouldn't let them recommend me a toothbrush, never mind drill into my mouth. My advice to whoever is going here, be specific for what you need and ensure they do not push products on you that will take up time before the procedure. As I was preparing to leave, still in pain, the staff (who didn't leave while I was speaking to the dentist) asked me if i wanted to special coating on my teeth for $60. I repeat, do not come here people who cannot advocate for themselves. I am glad to have a high pain tolerance and a stubborn personality to go to another dentist for a root canal, someone who is in pain will agree to anything for relief. Do not become a victim of these vultures. If I could dispute the teeth cleaning, I would.

I never thought I'd write a review for a dental office, but my experience here has been extremely…read morefrustrating. From the beginning, punctuality has been a major issue. I've had multiple early morning appointments where the office was still closed upon arrival, with staff showing up 30 minutes to an hour late. Despite this, I remained patient. However, the one time I was late, I was berated by the receptionist about respecting their time--despite the lack of respect shown to patients consistently. I've also waited hours to be seen, even as the first scheduled patient. There were instances where I was left in a room for long periods, briefly seen, then left again--sometimes long enough to fall asleep. It's extremely frustrating when your time is not valued. My dental experience itself became even more concerning. After being told I had multiple cavities, I received treatment that eventually led to complications. A filling in my front tooth resulted in an abscess, and I was later told the tooth had "died," requiring a root canal and crown. This was alarming, especially since I had never experienced issues like this before. About a year later, I developed worsening jaw and neck pain that eventually became unbearable and sent me to the ER. I returned to the dentist and was diagnosed with TMJ, with a recommended treatment plan costing $1,200 out of pocket for five sessions. This felt excessive, especially given the level of pain I was experiencing daily. After seeking alternative care, I was able to receive therapy elsewhere at no cost, and was advised that more frequent sessions were necessary--very different from what I was initially told. Ultimately, I decided to remove my wisdom tooth elsewhere, which provided immediate relief. This made me question whether the original diagnosis was accurate. When I returned to request a simple clearance note for work, I was met with hostility from the dentist's wife, who works as the receptionist. Despite being a respectful and paying patient, I was denied assistance because I chose not to proceed with their costly treatment plan. Her demeanor was unprofessional and dismissive. To be fair, the dentist himself has been gentle and skilled in his work, and some staff members have been pleasant. However, the overall experience--particularly the lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect--has left a lasting negative impression. No patient should feel mistreated or denied basic assistance due to financial decisions, especially after a questionable diagnosis. This experience highlights why many professional environments implement anti-nepotism policies--to ensure accountability and maintain standards of professionalism. Unfortunately, those standards were not upheld here.

First, their waiting area is extremely small (my bathroom is larger) there was no ventilation, most patients in waiting area were not wearing masks when there are signs stating masks required, so it was extremely stuffy and difficult to breathe. The office manager Myrna or Myra who was having a difficult time with a patient by the reception desk obviously took her frustrations out on me, because by the time I stepped up to the reception desk, you can tell she was annoyed. I politely stated my name and appointment time and was told to have a seat. I politely explained that since their small waiting room had many people seated, and there was no ventilation, I asked if she could open the door or put on the air for circulation and I was rudely told "NO" to both requests, I kept my composure which was not easy and stated okay, then I'll wait outside and asked how long my wait was. She rudely said "I don't know maybe 45 minutes to an hour". I said excuse me, and asked why such a long wait. Her response was "Let me print up your x-rays, you need to go somewhere else". THE AUDACITY of this extremely RUDE, insensitive person to state such a thing, after I was just approved for dental work, and some dental work was started. I became so infuriated and told her "It would've been nice if I was given a courtesy call letting me know they're running an hour behind and given the option to wait or reschedule, or AT LEAST apologized to for any delays when I arrived. All I received was ATTITUDE from a very rude office manager. On the other hand, I guess they did me a favor, because I found that their rooms should have been much cleaner. I was in one room and after seeing dried blood and who knows what stuck to the pull-out table they put their tool on for the Doctor to use, I asked if they could clean it because it literally made me nauseous. I was then moved to another room. Waited approx 45 minutes in the chair to get X-rays which was unacceptable, so they certainly don't give a damn about how long they keep you waiting there. As for Dr. Kirzhner... he was a nice Dentist, who filled a cavity and I appreciated the pain-free experience, but he shouldn't allow his staff to speak to anyone as she spoke to me, and he should oversee the waiting time as well as the cleanliness of their rooms. As for the office manager Myra or Myrna... you should find another line of work, opposed to dealing with the public and/or patients because your attitude is horrible and unacceptable!

They asked me to go to the 27th Street location so I did. They did the X-rays and confirmed an infection and that a root canal would need to be done. Then told me that my insurance wouldn't cover the root canal and I would need to take a loan to cover 1800 which would be about 80 a month paying back. I agreed to this. The payment plan ended up being 2000 and I pay about $135 a month right now just so it's not affecting my credit, but I needed the help and decided to go ahead with the procedure. I noticed toward the end of the procedure the doctor was not using a normal dental light and had his assistant illuminate my mouth with a cell phone. Yes. A cell phone. When done the dentist said I can make the appointment for the crown at the front desk and confirmed he cleared out most of the infection. Prescribed me antibiotics for this. It was later that everything sank in fully. While there I was so focused on the pain that things didn't sink right away. After more than a week and I was still feeling pain I decided to cancel my appointment when they sent me a text to confirm for the "crown". I decided to go to another dental provider on emergency who confirmed that no root canal was done. They even had a root canal specialist come to look at my X-rays and it was confirmed. It wasn't until I started questioning everything with this company that they then changed the narrative and asked me about coming in to complete my root canal. So I asked, did they do a root canal or not because they scheduled me for a crown next and I was told I had the root canal on my last visit, so which is it? Of course, no response. Up to now, I can't get a copy of detailed notes on what they actually did, not an invoice that details what was done. I am locked into a loan for work that was not done so I'm going through the process of disputing this and no matter what result that is, I will be going to court. When I first made the claim they actually lied saying they used proper lighting for my mouth. They used a cell phone light. That's not proper. The proper dental equipment should be used and if you don't have it then you should not be in operation. Some of these companies seek to get off of people that do not have it so that they can put you in debt for services and this is cruel. I do intend to fight this and see this all the way through, not just for me but for other people who may feel like they don't have a voice. This kind of thing should not be happening. Since going to the other provider who performed an actual root canal, I have no more pain.
