Not what I asked for, took 4 days to untangel my hair. I have extremely soft baby hair, I kept saying, the only way to keep my hair in curls is the use of products. Too tight curls, not curly next day, yet brushing and brushing for 4 days to get free from the tangled mess, never again. read more

My mom went here to get her hair highlighted and cut by jessica. Jessica burnt her hair. It looked AWFUL. Didn't charge her for the color. Tried blaming it on my mom saying "she had product in her hair" Jessica over processed her hair. Still charged her for a hair cut... I went back and asked for a refund for the hair cut and the workers were so rude. Ended up getting my money back. Literally terrible. My mom left in tears. Her hair looks awful. Jessica is an amazing stylist who really knows about coloring hair and how to best support good hair health. She has always done my color both at salons and at home when I needed. I've been a customer for over 10 years. I have gotten an assortment of colors, colors I loved, and some I maybe should not have done (home box jobs!) but Jessica always made me look awesome and saved my hair from my impulse decisions. She is kind and pure in her desire to make sure you are happy! With Jessica I have always been comfortable with either going bold or demure in my colors and knowing I will look amazing! To the young lady who slandered her reputation because her mother refused to take the advice given by Jessica prior to, to NOT do the color, insisting that she did not use harmful products, and still chose to get color... you are entitled idiots who think you know-it -all. She didn't deserve that slander, and your mother wanted what she wanted, and she got it, against better advice. For her to even take time to give further help and instruction as you demonstrated in your pic, means she cared about the results. And she did not charge for the color at all, again doing a good deed to help your mother who did not take the advice given to wait on color. This is why you shouldn't lie to your stylist! Because certain chemicals cannot mix, and you shouldn't even wash before a salon visit. From your mother's own review, weeks later, Jessica was very knowledgeable about processes, focal practice, intricacies, and mechanisms of hair colorization and care. Again, the problem was "Stacey" thought she knew best! YOU DO NOT CLARIFY YOUR OWN HAIR BEFORE COLOR IDIOTS!! But you can just not go there anymore, trying to ruin someone's reputation is just disgusting and uncalled for. You received a full refund but still wanted to be nasty! You are cruel people and may the Lord have mercy on your souls. Jessica, continue being the great stylist that you are and let no one deter you from those that appreciate your care and concern. Run from this salon. My hair is fried from bleach after being left under a burning hot dryer for 15 minutes when stylist said she would be back in 5 because that's all I needed to lift color. Thank goodness after 5 minutes I took my phone out to record and record me lifting the dryer off my head because the heat was intense. The smell as the foils were coming out was horrific! Burnt chemical. Insert hair stylist says "I don't like that smell.. I've never smelled that before..but only once when a client used sun in..are you sure you didn't use anything in your hair prior" ?My answer no I used Dove that's all.. she didn't believe me. She proceeds to wash hair with the coldest water as she tells me she needs cold to seal cuticle. Worse yet stylist was scared to even comb my hair because it was coming out on the comb in balls almost like cotton when you pull it apart. She kept assuring me it was going to be ok but it wasn't. She then asks me if I run hot?? What? She says my scalp is really hot, of coarse it is. I told her the dryer was burning my head. When she finally was able to comb it let's just say it looked like I took a match to it. It's broken, dry and the highlights are basically orange.The hairstylist blamed me saying I must of used something on my hair to have that type of reaction. Who does that?? I used Dove Shampoo the night before that's it! I was advised to go to sally and purchase multiple products for my hair..Bond bar as she said was a Olaplex dupe. It gets worse the owner was not there at the time but my daughter who was furious over the way the incident played out reached out to the owner. She told my daughter to have me come in just to see what it looked like. I did I showed up and I think she really thought I wouldn't but with a room full of clients her demeanor changed saying I told your daughter to tell you to make a appointment (no she didn't) have that on record as well and mind you when I went in I stayed outside the salon and asked to speak with her outside when she had a minute and her response was not at all what I expected .. its not that bad all you need is a treatment. I asked what kind of treatment she said Aphogee. Why would I need that? Also do you really think I ever would sit in any chair if your salon again? I only went because of the owners rave reviews and I wanted her to see how bad my hair is not for any service even if it was free.. It's been traumatizing and I did leave the salon in tears not once but now twice after Dansi's response. Fast forward I went to a salon had my hair looked at and they confirmed it was fried but came up with a plan no treatments or chemicals but a good chop with layers and a conditioner under the dryer to remove some of the god awful color. I Am almost a month into this journey on getting my hair to at least cooperate and it's been a nightmare. I will say on a positive I secured a extremely knowledgeable hair dresser and a great attorney. read more

I had an appointment with another hair salon and after they dry cut my hair and said so many bad things, I left with out my color or finishing the hair cut. I called Stars and Nancy took me right away and even carved out time for me to get the hair color highlights and low lights. The staff is all so friendly and since moving down here I was struggling to find someone I trusted to do my hair. I'm not happy with what they did to my 14 month old. I asked for a trim and they cut off 4 inches, easily. Never take a child there. I'll never ever go back here. The staff weren't nice and his hair isn't even! read more

Love Stars Salon, especially Gina = who is always willing to do whatever I ask for, make it look great, and cuts so it also grows in well. I have very wavy hair and that is really hard to do, especially with clippers, but Gina manages it. Oh and this is another place I drive two hours for. When you find a person who listens to how you want your hair cut and does it without imposing their own "vision" on you and your hair, you it is worth the effort to get to them. read more

Best Salon I've been to, all gusy here gives good service abd affordable considering its inside a mall. Downside sometimes is the waiting time, dont go on a weekend. This place is busy, try midweek instead. read more

So this salon is in the mall close to Macy's and GNC. It's very easy to miss. But don't miss it! I've gone here for years as a walk-in and I'm always very satisfied with the work they do. I get my hair cut by a lady name Terri and she does a really good job! I recomend her to anyone especially if ur getting a short cut. The other ladies are also skilled, I never experienced them personally but my friend got her cut there by a very nice Spanish lady and her hair came out beautiful! read more
