CCV also offers small groups, which is a great way to make connections within the church and to take that next step in your life. There are many types of groups to join, such as young adults, men's, women's, singles, etc. Overall, for those who are looking for a new church or have never been, this is a great place to attend. After the first year or so we hit COVID and had a pause. We were excited to go back. When we returned this place exposed itself. The pastor had an affair with an employee and has all but destroyed this church. To see the lady involved in the destruction of the church, come right back in with her family was a bit hard to swallow. Apparently no shame, but full of arrogance to come back to the very place you participated in ruining. With zero leadership this church is a rudderless ship. The fakes are abound and the stand in pastor said they would be, and the backstabbing has started. I have never seen a group of fake Christians expose themselves in such a way that they should be ashamed of themselves. Watching people turn on each other is not being a christian, that is deception. The former pastor did talk about speaking of others and gossip, these people live in it. It seems they will not be happy until they have run everyone off and the doors are closed. As Christians we have to be better. If you choose to go here, go to the home-builders class at 10 a.m., these folks are legitimate Christians, when it is over leave, the rest is a curtain. Satan is walking amongst these people in a low-key cult, the clicks are ever present and if you don't fall in with them, then you are on the out. Sadly enough I have seen the same thing happen with the teenagers, there are certainly inner circles here that should not exist. What are they being taught or shown? I am not sure who is running the 18-25 group (I probably should but my kids are older) but he seems a little crazy but has a passion for everything he does. This place is in a sad state and feels like high school. I would not change the experience, but will definitely be changing where we go for the word of god, these people need to reflect on what they are doing. Shunning people and being deceptive is not following Christ. This is why people have stopped attending church and see Christians the way they do.

This is a big church so I had my doubts going into the parking lot. I saw mini tram vehicles…read morepicking up people around the parking lot and thought I was going to an amusement park, but I was trying to keep an open mind. There were groups of people welcoming folks to enjoy coffee, muffins, information cards for small groups, ministry and multi-generational families meeting in seating areas. I was a bit overwhelmed by it all in a good way. The worship was great but what was even more awesome was seeing a bunch of people getting baptized up front and on the screen during the songs. Each time someone came up from the water there was cheering and singing. It gave me such joy for them! Praise God! The message was great and I filled out a newbie card. Someone called me the very next day to welcome me and tell me about ways I could plug in. The options are endless and there is definitely something for everyone. I took some pictures of what is going on in the next week as an example of the activities I saw posted. The church is a hub for this community providing food, clothing, legal advice, etc. It is really a great resource. I think you should give it a chance. While it is a large church, you can be known as a part of the body of Christ. It is a matter of finding where you fit. I will have to try out the small groups and edit my review on those opportunities for you guys later. For now, I say jump in and know Jesus is here waiting for you. Just show up.

Then right before the message started we had a staff member come and publicly embarrass us in front of others around us by saying we must leave right now due to our dog. Coming in we were welcomed with our dog explaining that he is an emotional support animal and that he has just had surgery 2 days prior. We are unable to leave him at home due to his 6 staples in his leg. Instead of the team coming up with a solution they just kicked us out. I asked if I could speak to someone about this and they quickly declined and didn't even give us another option. We weren't allowed to listen to the message not even outside we just had to completely leave the premises. Walking out the door there was an 8 person team standing there waiting for us to leave like we were some threat and they just watched us walk out. How embarrassing. To say we are extremely saddened and disappointed is an understatement. Every other church we've gone to with this 7lb puppy has never had a problem. Safe to say we are not welcomed back here unfortunately. Such a bummer. I would seriously not recommend a church less. How awful you have no solutions and you're not allowed to speak to anyone, you just don't care about your guests and kick them out. Because of this expiernce its affected us going back to church in general that we will be kicked out again at another church and caused us to feel as if someone is always watching to judging us like they did here. I'm here giving a review on behalf of a sister in Christ who was failed by the system and is…read moregetting nothing better from what she's relaying to me. She grew up in homeless shelters and group homes from all over Arizona since she was about 7 years old. Her mental health was incredibly damaged and she was unable to finish school due to learning disabilities. From being forced to one home to the next and never receiving even an ounce of love and affection the way Christ would to the point where she landed in what I believe was a cult. This is where I met her. We got out together and began to seek Christ further together and she has been growing slowly and understanding more. She struggles sometimes and makes mistakes and doesn't understand sometimes. But in the time of her being at the dream center--she's worsened. Her faith has decreased and her mental health has as well. I've also discovered that some donations are meant to go to the women there but she has yet to receive anything or any help at all with finding work, re-applying for school, relearning basic life skills, and recovering in full. It became bad when she felt the need to sneak her phone back to reach me rather than use the phones so she can open up--to which, of course, I corrected her one as her sister in Christ. It's ever right to do things like that no matter the circumstance. But doing that led to her being placed outside in the dark alone with her phone on low battery and strange men passing by and making her uncomfortable for nearly 2 hours. When asked if she could come back inside and give back her phone so she can go to bed and feel safer, she was told to wait out there until 7 am. While outside, she was tempted to wander off alone away from the center even with the men giving her creepy looks and peeking around corners at her. The staff stood by and looked out at her and continued to talk as she stood at the door until she knocked to be met with another "7 am." This is what began to boil my blood. I hadn't heard of the place before but when I looked it up I was shocked to find that they're centered around rescuing women off the streets and preventing trafficking and providing care for those they welcome in. But to hear that they willingly put out a struggling 18-year-old with depression and a dwindling faith as a Christ-centered community and home for young women--it strikes a different cord. Upon getting there, I found out that she discovered some...odd conditions. Such as bugs and mold. But none of that truly matters because it's a roof over her head and clothes on her back as well as food for your belly. And I encourage her to be grateful for the things that God places in front of us. But it's hard to encourage her if she cant call me even from the phones there due to restrictions let alone be able to feel confident that she is in good Christ-loving hands. I just continue to pray that God guides her steps and places a hedge of protection over her. I may only have one side of things but the things I'm hearing don't settle well in my stomach or my heart...I pray that those in the center are able to express more compassion towards the people they bring in. Especially young women who don't have many people to depend on outside of Christ...God will provide. God bless you and I hope that things improve with this place. Im still gonna continue to raise money for her to get her back on track, God willing.
