The company was responsive and the technician that arrived (Chris) was on time, thorough & courteous. Had some dog urine smell on my brand new carpet in the basement. They cleaned the areas (450 square feet were handled) for $180. There was an extra $30 charge for each particular area that needed extra smell cancellation. While Chris was here, he offered to give an air duct cleaning estimate. I was happy this was offered as I am very allergic to dust mites and we were told previously that our ducts couldn't be cleaned due to the structure of our vents. We have lived here 27 years, so the ducts were really dirty. Rodriguez uses air to clean, not brushes, so they were able to clean. It was $550 to have the ducts cleaned, but it was worth every penny. It took an extra hour to clean them due to the amount of dust. Chris cleaned up all around the vents and the floors. I wish I had the video Chris showed me of how dirty our vents were. I'm very impressed by this company and happy to refer them. If you hire them, please tell them you heard of them from Yelp and give my name -- Lora Coomes ;)

Luckily, nothing was destroyed but we had three rugs that needed a good cleaning. I had reached out to a dry cleaner, and it would be roughly $100 per rug and take 4-6 weeks. Ick! MC Cleaning Services said they could come out and pick up our rugs and bring them back in a few days clean -- all for $100 total. Sounded like a great deal! And they brought them back as promised, but they reduced the overall price when two of the rugs didn't come out as clean as they had hoped. Those rugs were a little wet when they were brought back, and we were able to hang it outside to dry more. These rugs weren't new, so in general, we didn't mind this too much. They were better than when we sent them in. I would definitely work with them again!

My daughter recently moved her furniture to a storage unit after selling her house and looking to buy a new one. Since she is single, and I'm retired, she enlisted my help getting moved. I was the primary contact for all moving issues. We used a different company (not Clean Slate) to move from her old house TO the storage unit. They were "decent" but I felt a little used and abused by their add on charges after the fact. I started looking for a different mover when it was time to move from the storage unit to the new home. All communications were via text. Clean Slate did meet another movers price and since they had so many 5 star reviews, I decided to go with them. There was one problem, they showed up an hour late. I considered giving them 4 stars due to showing up late, but that issue was offset by the quality of the two young men that did our move. Both guys were respectful and took good care of our possessions. They worked non stop for 4 hours. They even let this old man talk their ears off! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
