My father's STAT transport arrived timely and professionally.   The staff who answered the phone were efficient and answered all of my questions.  The driver was courteous and attentive to what we needed done.  I do not hesitate recommending STAT to my friends and family who may need them. read more

The EMTs at Stat Medical Transport are horrible. On my way to the ER the EMT was going to give me an IV with pain killers. I had a broken and dislocated clavicle, and the bone was sticking up in my neck. The driver kept hitting every pothole on the way to the hospital, so I pulled my arm away. Ive lived in this area for over 50 years and know every road and the potholes alone the way. The driver hit every single one of them. I wouldnt have pulled away except the EMT couldn't keep his hand steady. When I pulleed away he told me I'm no longer getting painkillers and he is not giving the IV anymore. So his frustration overruled my pain and he made me suffer on purpose. The best thing you can do if you have issues with their EMT's, is report it to your local officials and bring it up during Town Halls. They just signed a contract,but if this type of stuff is being reported by patients, I doubt that contract will be renewed. read more

I needed a ride to a facility, I prepaid in advance and received no invoice or receipts. and on the day of pick up following a snowstorm, I called in at 10am to make sure I could count on them showing up and was assured they would contact me. instead of calling me to tell me they couldn't pick me up, I had to call them 20 mins before I was due in at the facility to find out they couldn't do it - too late for me to make other plans and I ended up losing my appointment and causing my amputee therapy process to be delayed. The man I spoke to could have cared less about my situation, he also didn't identify himself as the owner until after I asked to speak to a supervisor because of his flippant and indignant attitude about the fact that he or the driver DID NOT call me to tell me there was a problem. He ranted about trying "not to be sued for 15 million dollars" as if this company is worth that much! I demanded a refund immediately, they were not going to get another chance to screw me over again. I also lodged a complaint with the PUC because this man was more concerned about keeping my money than ensuring I had service and again I was disrespected and lied to. Meanwhile I also put a review in on Facebook and Yelp, only to have the owner come at me with endless gaslighting attacks against me, trying to make me look like some Karen type while not taking any accountability for his lack of due diligence. Also this owner continued to message my online friends who lodged complaint in solidarity about my personal business in their personal message inboxes. I am not the only person to have issue with how they do business and as well I've added screenshots of reviews from employees on how it is to work for these people Thankfully he at least made good on paying me back but otherwise this person i dealt with is of low character and a despicable nature. I wouldn't trust this person or his company to transport a bag of groceries much less a critical care patient. I will never have anything to do with this company again read more

My mother had a post surgery appointment with her doctor in Glen Mills. Transport brought her to her appointment from Dunwoody Rehabilitation in Newtown Square. We called Stat Transport, who brought her there, right after her appointment was over. We were originally told 45min. 2 hours later, my mother and I, along with the aide, were still waiting. Dispatch tried selling the "stuck in traffic" excuse. Needless to say, this company shouldn't be in the business of care. I will be contacting Dunwoody tomorrow, and letting them know, they should direct their business elsewhere. I strongly urge everyone to go with another transportation organization. Heed my words, you won't be happy with STAT, cause they're anything but STAT. read more

They charged me double and despite eight calls, three to a supervisor, I've received no phone call back or reimbursement so now I have to dispute it with my credit card. They also do not do any email confirmations or account setups online. read more

Only use STAT for you or your loved ones private transportation. They provide a variety of vehicles, staff are friendly and customer service is excellent. There are committed to excellence and I have never been disappointed with their service. Jason in the office will make you feel like you are the only customer. They took my elderly Mom away and I couldn't find her. The transit company staff took my Mom, who was on a stretcher, from the hospital and didn't tell me. I was holding her purse with her phone and wallet, her paperwork folder (that needed to be returned to the nursing home), and her lunch (my Mom is diabetic). I was assisting my Mom all morning through her pre-admissions testing. I told the transit staff that I would check my Mom out of her last appointment. When I finished, my Mom was gone, along with the staff. I didn't know where they went. I didn't know where they were parked. I took the elevator to the lobby but they weren't there. I looked out front. Not there. I asked someone if they had seen a stretcher go by, and that gentleman pointed me down the block, where I saw the STAT van. I asked the staff why they left, the male staff member said he thought I was right behind them. But he could see that I was not in the elevator with them. Keep in mind, we waiting through the appointments together all morning. I complained to the female staff that she should not have left without telling me. They did not ask my Mom if she was ready to leave. They just swooped her away. In addition to this, the female refused to leave the exam room when the nurse was doing a physical exam of my Mom. Why? "Because I have to stay with the stretcher." Really? In the exam room? That is not appropriate. The female repeatedly bullied my Mom about needing to get off the stretcher. Where was she supposed to go? She was on the stretcher because she needed to be on the stretcher. But the female continued to tell my Mom for hours that she needed to transfer to a wheelchair, which my Mom was unable to do. Furthermore, both staff were consistently rude to my Mom. They spun her around on the stretcher; they pumped up the stretcher and dropped down the stretcher -- all without warning my Mom, startling her every time. Did I mention my Mom's bad heart? Totally unacceptable! read more

They left my friend stranded for a transport from Glen Mills to King of Prussia. She was quite upset and the excuses were very lame (too much "dog ate my homework" type) and they were very slow to follow-up with her when she tried to communicate with them. This is unacceptable for folks who have no others means of transportation and depend on services such as this to maintain some sense of independent living. I wanted to give them a 0 star review but that is not an option. read more

Drivers were pleasant enough except when they were complaining about city traffic (?? employed as a driver and can't deal with traffic??). BUT one tool a longer way, right through the middle of road work. Never heard of KYW traffic reports every ten minutes, I guess. Never mind the bumpy roads we took to get an injured person to a dr's appt--Ouch. Driver No. 2 needed to make an important phone call, which turned out to be booking tickets somewhere. She made this call on a hand-held phone while driving. Only positive: this slowed her down. In a word or two, No way will I use this service again. A private car would have been as comfortable with better and more professional service. Live and learn (for the price of $150.00, mind you.) read more

Sending my sincere gratitude to our driver, Dawn. My father passed away last week and my mother is in a wheelchair. We needed to have my mother at the services today. My Uncle was able to arrange transportation for my Mom through every leg of today's services. Dawn could not have been more accommodating and kind to me and more importantly, my Mom. She clearly knows what she's doing in handling this type of thing and the way she treated my Mom.....I'll never forget it. Thank you Dawn if you read this. Stat transport had the wrong phone number. My mom told them my cell and they didn't call. I met them at the hospital. They informed me that i was lucky that they even transported mom. My mom told me that they wanted cash from her? I asked them at Stat and they told me the drivers have no idea of course. The driver told me that I had to call their number and make a payment or they might come back for pickup. So the driver asks my mom for cash when she just had brain surgery and then they tried to hold my mom for ransom. Company's should be named We want your cash stat.The price went from $172.00 to $275.00 also the next day. read more

My husband had knee replacement surgery on both knees in early June. Upon being discharged from Bryn Mawr Hospital, he was to be transferred directly to Bryn Mawr Rehab. We decided to go with a transport service. We felt that would be the safest way with two new knees. The woman arrived from Stat Medical Transport with a wheelchair that had no foot rests. Yes, she transported my husband with double knee surgery in a wheelchair with no foot rests! She was also of no help in getting him into the wheelchair. Fortunately, nurses came in and helped. When they questioned where the foot rests were, she replied, "This is what they gave me." I would never suggest anyone to use this service. I would have been better taking my husband by car. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They transported my autistic son to a hospital 45 minutes away and charged my insurance company $2366! When the insurance company paid $1400 they came after me for the rest. I told them that the insurance company paid them a reasonable amount and that I wasn't paying this ridiculous amount so they reported this to the credit agencies. Still fighting this negative mark on my credit report. Heartless company. As a father with a special needs child, I deal with medical caregivers and doctors regularly. Nearly all accept what the insurance pays and those who don't will work with me to settle for a reasonable amount. This company is greedy and heartless. Do yourself a favor and look up their competitors and choose one that will be reasonable with the charges. If I could, I would give them a zero. read more

I give this stat a one star my ninety five year old mother in law had to be transported for doctors appointment from a nursing home they are contracted with stat getting her to appointments are ok if you call a week in advance but when the call is made to transport her back to the nursing home it has been terrible we had to contact stat one to five times by phone and there was a three hour wait for the transport van to take her back to the home this shouldn't be from eleven thirty to two thirty sitting in a wheelchair if you cannot do the job right and be on time give it to another company stat is not the right name change your name to slow or I'm not showing up read more

NO STARS! Transport was over an hour late. When I called to inquire I was told "the driver would be there when they get there". The owner Ron has never returned any phone call. STAT has made it clear they do not understand what STAT means nor do they care about the cliental they are suppose to be helping. read more
